You actually went to the wrong part of the kaloko honokohau park to see turtles. You needed to go to the section by the harbor, especially during sunset. That would've been your best chance to see a LOT of turtles including some resting on the sand. But it sounds like you had a nice time exploring my home island!
I wish every tourist who visited the Big Island did exactly what you did in your 7 days. I would never see them and that would make me happy. It would make every local happy.
@@DestinationHamzic Because I don't do any of the things you did in this video. I want the tourists to do what you did. That would be awesome if they all did and then they wouldn't venture into the locals places that are ruined by tourists. Tourists are mindless and clueless. Watch how locals interact with nature and the ocean, how they are mellow and calm, then, look at the tacky tourists and how they interact wherever they are. They are like nails on a chalkboard, ruining anywhere they are. You might not notice it because once you get a whole bunch of them in one location, they drown out the peace and tranquility with their presence. Once you experience the calm and tranquility of them not being around, it is hard to be around them, and why I don't like them.
Ah ok got you. Yeah, I mean I don't blame you for not liking tourists, and people should be a lot smarter when traveling or on vacation but it's something that is hard to control. @@richardjohnson4696
The gardens were on my list for the last day and by that point we were exhausted land our daughter was over it haha but I really wanted to see that and a couple more things
I am watching your video, and at 3.05 at the luau I see young (lady)?raising her middle finger Disrespectful, but maybe I too sensitive?? Maybe could edit? Otherwise, a good reveal of my home Big Island
Yeah big island is no joke. Probably not the best choice to take small children out of all the islands. Because of the driving to try and go a lot of places in 1 week.
great to see the hotel we will be staying at! and some highlights of the island, Thank you!
That’s awesome you will have a blast there, thank you for watching, have a lot of fun adventures on the big island!
Wow, great quality content!
Much appreciated!

Thanks for the info, yeah I learned a bit more about the turtles when I came back, I had a blast though, such a gorgeous island!
Wow, and you did all of that with your little kids…? Just wow! 👍🏼
Thanks, was hard at times not going to lie, but it's easier if you have everything planned out ahead of time.

Why wouldn’t you see them?

Good job bud
man - you were so close to the botanical garden with akakaka falls.

beautiful place. but those prices....yikes
Yep, it’s very touristy and the prices unfortunately are high, so you have to really do your research to try and save money, it’s possible though.

Sorry about that, just showing how the younger generations are.

Kailua-Kona, Kona is the region
Got it!

Yep, I think the best solution is to stay in Hilo for half the trip, that will help a lot with the driving.
That's what we will be doing next June, 5 days in Hilo and 5 in Kona. 😊
The prices are shocking.
The hotels are the most expensive by far.
Weird sauce?
Do you mean brown gravy? 😂

It didn’t taste like gravy, it was almost sour? Not sure if it was supposed to be gravy?
