I would either chuck those over sills in the bin, or trim them down to the same size as a standard sill, so that the vents are opened. Also the material thickness on those inner sill repair panels isn't the best, so I'd suggest binning those and getting a floor repair panel to the 1st flute from M-machine.
You are not wrong. I had to do so much work to try n get things to 'kind of' fit. The whole rear end was a nitemare to try n line up. The idea Changing the whole floor scared me, but after botxhing together so many panels I can see the benefits to getting them
Repair panels are great however i think you would have saved more time getting a complete new half rear end and a full floor, i know its a cost but will save you time in the long run.
I think fitting a whole floor can be a hell of an undertaking and also a big expense. Depends on how much rust etc. Doing a side at a time and also doing a step at a time is probably safer, tho some bracing will need welding in. In regards to back panels, if you've got them cheap great, if it's cost a fair bit might have been better with a half panel. Just depends. Generally if we're welding it ourself we tend to be time rich and money poor haha

I agree on the sills and also those inner sills are a bodge "whack it over the top" panel rather than a proper panel. M machine do good panels.
