Don't assume just because it's MGS3 2.0 that Konami and the modern day developer patterns won't fuck something up.
We so very much hope they do something good with MGS3. The trailer is actually awesome, hopefully it’ll give the original game justice and bring a very much needed new light on Metal Gear.

I really wished they would do remakes starting with the first. I can't stand when the pick the most popular one first, it automatically communicates they care only about the money
That’s true, but hey, money is what matters to a publisher. Probably the developers are doing an amazing job in creating something special, but this isn’t like the Final Fantasy 7 remake: it’s the third chapter of a saga. MGS3 is the most famous one, but starting from the beginning would’ve truly created a different experience and maybe.. even more money in the long run.
To be fair, MGS3 takes place first in the timeline of all the games.

@@nightshroud9671 but metal solid was meant to be sort of a first of it's kind before progressing into MGS2 and MG3. Hideo knew it would be more powerful to make the games in the order he did them. I think they should be released according to how they were originally released, just Star Wars. It's better to experience them in the order they were released
Boy japanese really hold grudge, that metal gear survive just like konami pissing in kojima's face that we have ip we do whatever want with it since they left on such bad terms.
I think guy made last ninja gaidens did same thing when left pissed all over it to, same for keji infuane for while capcom did some questionable things in his abscence with him after he left!
