Highlights full of old school rally action from Lahti Historic Rally 2016. The rally is part of the FIA European Historic Sporting Rally Championship. Wow! ! ! ! I just stumbled upon this masterpiece of nostalgic rallying . . . not often, just sometimes, a very special group of rally cars are presented in succession on the same programme, and they eclipse all the amazing representations of post 70's models and performance abilities . . . compare the Ford escort to the buzzing fiestas and similar platforms . . then trot out the 037 and the dreaded 224's, the galant 4x4 turbo and the triumph herald. . .I am saving this to show a few wacky old friends . .I thank you again for making my wretched day less wretched.

I always love to see a Rothmans Audi Quattro replica. One was driven by the Ferjancz/Tandari pair in 1986 and finishing 3rd in the European Championship. That was quite a performance from a the Hungarian Team.

Steve Blah Its only on the intro. Everything shown (driving) is also later on the video without the music. There’s tastes of music as many as tastes of cars.

First time Latvala had the car on the road so the setup might have been off. Unfortunately they had to retire on that stage where they take off.
