I guess the different colors is useful to know who is who. "Did you saw the pink light? This is Kevin, the green one is Alec." So great if you dive with three others, so I guess it makes sence to have different colors.
Oh Kevin just loves it when i mention anything pink! I just talk fast enough that he can't cut it out.

I actually have that exact inflation valve from XS SCUBA
Me too. Very handy around the ranch and in my shop.

The wet notes are used underwater by tech divers and others because you can write on it while underwater to keep notes or communicate when hand signs won’t do it.
If i used them they would be for making grocery lists during safety stops.

@@AlecPeirceScuba_SeaHunter Honestly we rarely use them, unless the plan includes data collection like for surveys. As if something goes so far off plan that we have to pull out the wetnotes the dive is probably over. One of the few times I've had a wetnotes conversation was when someone came around looking for a missing diver in a cave.
@@AlecPeirceScuba_SeaHunter I use a wrist slate instead since I just need it to reference my dive plan and runtime (in a cave). But, a lot of cave explorers and surveyors use them.

Why can they never make the multi tools with a 8mm (or 5/16”) Allen key for valve donuts? Wouldn’t even need to be full width
I think you are referring to the valve insert that allows a yoke to be used on a DIN valve. If so, it not being a very common fitting may be why it's not on most scuba tools. Europeans would not need it since they dive DIN almost exclusively while in North America & the Caribbean, the yoke is the most common. You'll simply have to carry an Allen key to fit if you switch regularly.

@@AlecPeirceScuba_SeaHunter yep! Unfortunately super common where I am (Australia) where 99% of the tanks are convertible valves, but for some reason, the regulators are still 2/3rds yoke. I dive DIN and really it should just replace yoke. The only reason for yoke is hanging onto the past 😂

Think i heard about that but it does not make business sense as Healthways created Scubapro as a new division before it folded.

thats about long hose donate comfiguration that 99% of tech divers use, becouse primary donate is much better than normal comfiguration. I don't know why you are soo much against that
