I'm on it.
I used to jump on random people's servers for clientside mod testing when I'm too lazy to set up my own dedicated server.
I remember running into two guys who were playing as Sans and Papyrus mod characters and they were both acting weirdly in character because the Sans player was trying to show his friend how to play, who was clearly very new to the game.
The Papyrus kept accidentally eating everything his friend handed him because he right clicks on everything for some reason.
At one point the Papyrus said that he found some green caps and both the Sans and I type "DONT" into chat at the same time.

7:56 tallbirds kill the mother when they grow up and sometimes if ur off screen for too long which makes sense in a 1000 day world they keep giving birth endlessly until the player arrives which triggers their fight and it can end up being like 10 tallbirds devouring their mom

That happened to me too
I had this ones, but it was not on the mosaic biom or where they usually spawn, it was at their own setpiece so it was a complete tallbird genocide and I got like 7 staks of meat
I remember getting dst on the ps4 and letting my little sister play, she picked willow because she thought she looked cool. First thing she does is find the base, says "hi", lights the science machine on fire by accident, and gets banned.

Even though some people ban you for no reason it is fun joining and helping out others and then helping you today I was able to take down a varg as Wilson with a Wigfrid today and it went very well and got tons of monster meat for meatballs.

I noticed a trend, if there is a non hardcore Wortox (aka a casual non ruins rushing/boss focusing player)they always seem to be super cool, friendly, and supportive, it makes me feel bad when I can’t help them enough when I randomly join with them there.
For real, I just started playing on pubs again and literally the first world I joined, there was a really nice wortox. I joined in winter like a moron and he basically kept me alive lol.

Smallish Tallbirds and normal Tallbirds fight all the time. I believe Tallbird eggs from the nest always hatches into Smallish Tallbirds and thus there's always some form of Infanticide happening when the eggs hatch

I don't know why people doesn't put their servers on private. And it is not the only game that this happens. I've been banned from servers of other games. That's why I stopped to play those games, at least with other people.
I did a similar experiment recently by going with Willow and noting down the characters that the hosts used. The conclusion is that Wendy mains are the nicest while Maxwell & Wolfgang mains are tie (6-6) in kicking/banning me immediately.
P/s: i did say “hi” before choosing a character xd
I mained Wendy when playing and was always apprehensive but glad to have someone join. SO, that fits my tiny amount experience.
Why do people ban other people for no reason I literally joined for 5 seconds and get banned for no reason this video is relatable.
Edit: I understand some wanted to play solo and forget but some worlds are already are playing with 2 strangers and only ban me in particular.
Edit 2: Maybe I might have been a little harsh at the time I was upset about it but it is not the end of the world, honestly I played plenty of servers that were pretty fun and calm.

OMG you should've join my server. I provide everything for newbies. I normally don't pick everything especially flints nearby spawn so that new spawns won't die off quickly.Glad you made this experiment haha. I used to play a game where you could go onto servers and I wouldn't really talk so I just told the people I don't talk and they let me be. I was even given stuff to help me along a few times and I really appreciated that they understood.

Keeping someone around as an actual friend in any game is too stressful. Thats why i barely accept any kind of friend requests

My first 400 hours, I was playing Klei officials only, and mostly we survived like 20-30 days. Now after like 4 years, I'm back in DST, and I miss those times soo much. Such a great memories with random people, random encounters and overall the experience was pleasant which was surprising. I think that one day I should try them once just to see if anything changed

lol in my experience of joining public servers, people get kicked usually bc they accidentally made the server public. You can tell bc they have no thought put into the world generation or the title of their world. They just wanted to play with friends or themselves so they kick everyone else

Tbh I left mine Public on purpose. I had one guy try to help me, a Wanda, he was nice enough.
Then another guy that just went radio silent completely. He must have been halfway across the world doin' his own thing. I didn't mind it *that* much but over a few hours it gets a bit... unnerving.
Eventually once I was done I just shut the game down and left.

Ah, reminds me of my first online world when I was new and didn't know how to ban, kick or reroll. Someone gave me this cool axe then left, next person got chased by a monster, I fight it, came back to a griefed base after I was done fighting. Spiders were everywhere and everything was on fire. I deleted the world because I was so mad. 😂

description:
SCP-996 bears resemblance to a steam copy of the video game "don't starve together".
it was discovered by an internet influencer who goes by the name "orangE" while filming a video on the normal game . the enity looks similar to the character "Wilson P." from the game.
properties:
although seeming like the "average kick on sight player" it has many oddities compared to them.
it's first and least noticeable property is the infection of other copies which in turn allows it to spread from copy to copy similar to that of a real-world virus. It also has the more obvious property of constructing crair filled with chest and being dimly lit , the chests contain mostly grass but will rarely have other items such as monster meat or flowers. Due to it's unknown affects at the time the SCP was left alone and thought to be a odd player of the game . However now two years and five days from it's first publication it has been revealed what it is planning on doing.
Threats:
it has been classed as a apollyon SCP as it plans to hijack other games via steam and if those games are able to be bought on other platforms such as the "epic store" it can then infect games on those platform; although unknown what it wants to do with these infected video games , it is to be believed that it may use them as a way to cause end of the world type scenarios leading to a major threat to mankind
CONTAINMENT:
although existing for so long now we had not thought of containing it and now knowing it's true intents we realised it is too late to attempt containment due to the mass spreading thanks to the influencer who had discovered it spreading it quickly to around 30 other copies of the game in that one day.
CONCLUSION:
we can only wait and hope that is may have a change of mind and not want to end humanity.

I get irrationally worried when someone joins a world of mine because I'm afraid they'll ask me for directions. I can barely survive on my own, I don't wanna accidentally sabotage another player.
Also because I feel bad since many players are friendly and chatty while I'm more of a hermit

I found out that there ar 4 types of players. The afk that don't say they ar afk. The guys that play alone. The guys that play alone in publick. And the guys that just have a good time and are usaly very nice.

I think the webber guy that spawncamped wasnt expecting others to join
i have only played/tried playing dst on a server about 7 times and the 3rd time i got kicked on a server when the loading screen before creating a character was around for 5 seconds, it was also my first kick. it was really weird.
In my servers if someone silent joins, I give em 5 minutes to talk, asking them to every minute or so, and kick em if they dont say anything.
