President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. hosts the vin d’honneur reception, bringing together key government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, and other distinguished guests to mark the 126th Anniversary of Philippine Independence and Nationhood at the Ceremonial Hall in Malacañan Palace on June 12, 2024.
A highlight of this gathering is the ceremonial toast by President Marcos Jr. and Most Reverend Archbishop Charles John Brown, D.D., Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines. This toast signifies unity, respect and cooperation among nations, reflecting the importance of diplomacy and international relations in upholding peace and prosperity.
With this year’s theme, ‘Kalayaan. Kinabukasan. Kasaysayan.,’ the event kicks off three (3) days of festivities, featuring various attractions and fun activities at the Quirino Grandstand in the City of Manila as a new tradition of Bagong Pilipinas.
