This unfortunately won't hold up. Biggest problems: 1. Officer went under false pretenses with the intent of arrest him and solicited him: Entrapment. Any judge will throw that out of court once discovered. 2. The Necklace, the aforementioned scenario of Entrapment gave way to an illegal search and seizure, the necklace. No warrant or imminent probable cause, anything found there would be inadmissible as evidence. Judge throws that out. Good intentions but the way shown would mean certain dismissal, most likely with prejudice. Something no cop or victim wants. Dismissal with prejudice means the issue can never be brought up against a defendant those basis with Double Jeopardy protection. Practically the same as a Not Guilty verdict. Once ruled and acquitted, done deal. They would have something else to charge him with.
That male detective need to be fired for supporting pervert criminal. Real detective need to learn and fight for justice. No predators dare to hurt innocent people.
