      It depends on the circumstances and if it will cause the business any problems, but having compassion is the best way to handle it, especially if it's a struggling single parent.

    Soon after my first son was born, I was busy touring a show through schools in the city. Sometimes, he'd have to come with me on days we were doing lessons about the play with classes of kids. I would speak to the kids, answering their questions while carrying my son. Then the next day, we would perform the show (Diary of Anne Frank) for them. They LOVED that I had brought a baby into class. It really helped connect the actors with the audience. It was a really, really fun experience! My son was always highly outgoing and maybe this had something to do with it.

    I'm in my mid-60s and have no children. I am also semi-retired. I used to be in upper management before I started my own consulting business. It is too easy to take sides in these situations. I have had many of my female employees go on maternity leave. It's not easy working around these leaves. Still, I valued these ladies and understood that life happens. One of the girls in my office had her last baby about 2 years before I retired. Because of scheduling, she was forced to bring the baby to work on Mondays. On those days her work output was not what it normally was. What I did was what most other management types would do. I spoke to my office manager and told her to let me know if we have to make an adjustment and otherwise stayed out of it. What I soon discovered was the other ladies started taking turns helping out. Over time I noticed there was no work drop off and the young mother was in fact still bringing her baby to work on Mondays when I retired. This is why many larger corporations have discovered it is better to have child care as a part of the business. Even with my business today from time to time I have business meetings with nursing mothers. I'm an engineer, I much rather solve a problem instead of making it worse by acting like a jackass!

    • @SuperStrongAura
      @SuperStrongAura 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Interesting case about the situation in your company. Nice to hear the mother was able to recover her productivity. Can anybody else give more such examples of nursing mothers bringing their infants to work?

    • @SuperStrongAura
      @SuperStrongAura 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Totally agree, and we are sure companies would. The issue is primarily one of logistics - if they allow one case, they have to allow all women in the office to bring their kids. Sadly, not all companies can afford the extra space needed. So we would say child-hating is not the reason many companies don't allow female employees to bring their infants to the office - space limitation is.

    It’s really sad what people in high up positions think they can do & get away with! They were so rude & cruel to the new Mother, & then tried to sabotage her. Mr. Foster actually played a very good part in this video & that was refreshing. So glad he hired her & had good understanding of what she was going through. This was a very good & inspiring story, thank you for sharing this. Those guys were found out for their brutal behavior, bad comments about Mr. Foster, thanks to the baby monitor; got what they deserved. Calling that baby a thing, making it cry by taking the toy away & breaking it, was horrible. Being a Mother & trying to work to survive is incredibly hard enough as it is! Again, thank you for this great video. Lord bless you all.

      I have seen him play good guys before. Like the video where this abusive man kept his girlfriend locked up in her room. This guy played his boss. The bad guy invited his boss and his wife over for dinner and right before they ate, the bad guy proposed to his girlfriend and threatened to tie her to the radiator if she said no. So, she said yes. Then while they were eating, the girlfriend caught the boss' wife's attention and made the distress sign with hand. Then, later when the boss and his wife were at home, the wife mentioned her making that sign but she didn't know that it meant. Then their son came into the room and told them that a person came to his school and spoke to the class about safety and he showed them the sign the speaker made, and it was the same sign the girlfriend made at the dinner. They asked the son what it meant and the son said "It means you're in trouble and you need help", Then in the next scene, the abusive husband was being arrested.

    Gotta love my boy Serj back being the villain again and Istan being the good guy too. Not to mention that other guy who plays as Austin. He also plays the villain as well in plenty of episodes. I don't know his real name, but he does a great job. All of them do. Dramatize Me, I love y'all! ☺☺☺☺☺☺

    This is a 300 day. An episode with Istan and Serj, two of my favorite actors and the actor that plays "Clarke." I don't know her name, but she reminds me of Kate Winslet. The acting was excellent and when Istan stepped into the room in the final scene, it was like power just entered the room. All the actors reacted in deference. The writing again was excellent and Serj portrayed his role with excellence. That squinting of his eyes before walking out of the conference room into the final scene was great effect.

    It is so funny to know that Serj who reminds me of a Sargeant in the Marines or Army Reserve who keeps barking and shouting orders at those who working for the company. I would not want to work for him even though they are just acting. From my experience when I was in school, there was a teacher who bought a baby to work and nobody was mad at her because many of us loved seeing the baby. Anyways, I am glad the boss and the employee were fired and got what they deserve.

    Admittedly baby crying makes me flinch due to hearing sensitives, but I don't hate them or their parent for it. Baby's only communicating in the only way they know how. I don't know how parents can handle it on a daily/semi-daily basis. But other than that and expecting a certain degree of parental supervision, having kids in the office isn't a bad thing in of itself.
