देशात नव्या सरकारची स्थापना झाली असून १८व्या लोकसभेचं पहिलं अधिवेशन चालू आहे. आज अधिवेशनाचा चौथा दिवस आहे. अधिवेशनातील पहिल्या दोन दिवसांमध्ये सर्व नवनिर्वाचित खासदारांना शपथ दिली गेली. तर, मंगळवारी (२५ जून) सायंकाळी लोकसभेतील विरोधी पक्षनेत्याची निवड झाली. राहुल गांधी हे आता लोकसभेचे विरोधी पक्षनेते असतील. दरम्यान, बुधवारी (२६ जून) ओम बिर्ला यांची लोकसभेच्या अध्यक्षपदी निवड करण्यात आली. अध्यक्षपदावरून एनडीए आणि इंडिया आघाडी आमने सामने आले होते.
