I could sit here for a week and not come up with the words to describe how much I am moved by Neurosis...my only regret is not getting into them sooner.
love this song. sound like the whole world is colapsing, pure apocalypse. i dont know why people dont like this album so much. to me it's the best from neurosis
One of a kind song by a one of a kind band. There prob will never be another like this. Power, beauty, melancholy and strikes your right to the core on almost a spiritual level. First time I heard this song me and my friends were drinking and smoking on the rooftop looking at the sky. So hard to express in words
1st Neurosis song I heard, 20 years back. And I especially like that main gloomy riff. A a big Black Metal fan its something youd hear on a Black Metal song. Really killer.
yea these guys just kill the sound barrier and the funny thing is they started as like a hardcore ambiant band really weird stuff and their albums keep getting weirder I've been listening to them since 96 man and they always come out with something new
Insane, I've just started listening to them and I'm a die hard metal fan. I have a slayer tat for fucks sake but the way they mix the ambiance keyboard with the wailing guitars is magnificent.
@Fluffypopcicle Troy Sanders has praised Neurosis many times. I saw an interview were he stated that if it wasn't for Neurosis, there wouldn't be a Mastodon. :)
i thought the same. i tried to get into neurosis afetr i had read about their big influence to isis. about one and a half year i did not get into them. but then came this one "klick-moment ", afetr that i got into every album of them in just a few months. they are so great, but you have to put time into them. and DON'T lsiten to their songs, listen to an album! btw. i think neurosis have no 3 min songs since 1990^^
Neurosis is so great it hurts. it makes me sad that I will never see them live 'cuz I live in a third world country. I don't know why I torture myself watching their videos.
New Years Eve Friday Dec 31, 2010 - Seattle, Washington Infinite Productions presents NEUROSIS, Ludicra, YOB and Brothers Of The Sonic Cloth @ Neumos 21+
How come you encumbered that masterpiece? What is wrong with you? I used to buy everything I could find from Relapse but now I seriously thinking of: why bother, I got the MP3s...
i'm so mad the song is cut short. the end is where it gets most intense making this such a perfect build up. totally ruined me listening to this just now.
@BurningSpear213 Thats certainly true of this record but in no small part to Albini engineering though you cant really gauge a band by an edited version of a song but eh...
This sounds a lot like mid '90s indie rock, Slint, Rodan, et al. I guess if all you listen to is metal this must sound really new and profound, but eh....

In fact the whole sun that never sets album was like this for me
1st Neurosis song I heard, 20 years back. And I especially like that main gloomy riff. A a big Black Metal fan its something youd hear on a Black Metal song. Really killer.
This is the first Neurosis album I listened to, and subsequently the on which got me hooked on them.
the three powers in all of us need to be developed the material, the spirit, and the mind!
Prefect for those days you don't want to leave the house and the sky is grey and filled with melancholy.
Still so Great
First time I saw these guys was when they opened for Pantera back in the 90's. Best show I ever went to bar none. Been a die hard fan ever since
Neurosis, Cult of Luna, Isis, Tribes of Neuros. They all make me wanna go Armagheddon... :)
yea these guys just kill the sound barrier and the funny thing is they started as like a hardcore ambiant band really weird stuff and their albums keep getting weirder I've been listening to them since 96 man and they always come out with something new
A legjobb Neurosis szám,nem vitás.
this is music.
No kidding

Neurosis is a dangerous drug my friends.
dificil de explicar lo geniales que son estos tios
con ellos consigo concibir mi sueño!
The Doors + Paradise Lost.
@dripgoss
Got damn, man that was simply some awesome f**king commentary! Excellently worded friend!!!
@Fluffypopcicle Troy Sanders has praised Neurosis many times. I saw an interview were he stated that if it wasn't for Neurosis, there wouldn't be a Mastodon. :)
I love Neurosis! I hope they plan a tour and come to Vancouver soon...
Are you alive?
@@beyzaayata1277yes. Why do you ask?
Amazing stuff, very unique.

Where is the rest of the song?
OH YEAH!!!
Neurosis is so great it hurts. it makes me sad that I will never see them live 'cuz I live in a third world country. I don't know why I torture myself watching their videos.
But at the end you saw them live.
Rivers of fears, don't you know?
I like their sound... reminds me alot of Type O Negative, but with their own unique style and sound of black metal
I had no idea this song had a video
i just got into these guys ...should have a long time ago though.

I could really die for the riff at 1:10 and 2:20 *_*
How come you encumbered that masterpiece? What is wrong with you? I used to buy everything I could find from Relapse but now I seriously thinking of: why bother, I got the MP3s...
@dripgoss well said... respect \m/
@dripgoss well said... i wish they would make the effort to do australasia
I love Neurosis, listen and love and die my friends!^_~
i'm so mad the song is cut short. the end is where it gets most intense making this such a perfect build up. totally ruined me listening to this just now.
for those,who understand it
@BurningSpear213 Thats certainly true of this record but in no small part to Albini engineering though you cant really gauge a band by an edited version of a song but eh...
neurosis reminds me of voivod a very good band too!
I hope someone play this song at my funeral!
@EtherealWaves they where, but that was a good thing! but i think that neurosis is more depressive.
isis is just plain fucking heavy.
the veritable goth
@BurningSpear213 But they came before those bands and mid-90's indie rock was total crap, Neurosis wasn't.
(i have idea, this music with opera.) Using dante divine comedy as the stage and theme
Half the song. Boooh
too short!
Way to butcher the song, Relapse. 3:45. Really?
The lead singer is my uncle scott
@etfbtf Ahh. If you only knew the "shaneturnerable" is a good friend of mine, you would understand perfectly. :)
carp quality 240 pfttt
🩶
so what? do you think this band is pop or something?
too bad they didn't use the full version
This video totally desecrates this song. Worse than Under the Surface.
...
why is this official video such lousy quality! seriously! 240p is the best yah got!
Way to kill moew than half of the song
This sounds a lot like mid '90s indie rock, Slint, Rodan, et al. I guess if all you listen to is metal this must sound really new and profound, but eh....
It's nothing like that stuff to me
@@Nlorgpipemusic810 Yeah even the main gloomy riff is eerily similar to Black Metal harmonies.
Christ, all of these comments are so pretentious.
This sounds like it looks 😂
where is the rest of the song?
