Bill acted like Lisa was his real life child. He was just her tv dad. He didn't have anything to do with her personal life.
True but it was his hit show and the teenage pregnancy could've interfered with the outlook of the show.

Jasmine Guy actually started on Fame with Debbie Allen. That’s how she learned of A Different World. She left Fame to go back to dancing. If you remember the first season of A Different World, they would often have Whitley dancing in the lobby.
Debbie and Jasmine are still close. That’s why probably why she has also appeared on Grey's Anatomy. (Debbie is one of the executive producers, directors and stars of the show.)

the song Chante's Got A Man was also written by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis who wrote most of Janet Jackson's hits and other artist; so, Chante Moore had help beyond her writing ability along with Big Jim.
As for Lisa Bonet and the statement she was treated unfairly, its ludicrous; she was unfit looking like a ragamuffin most of the time and her having a child didnt did not represent her role and example to youth as a student-tell how you gonna write that in the storyline-going to college and gets pregnant when the object is to be educated. She was mis-cast in the Cosby's as bi racial having to black parents-an insult to the audience. Furthermore, she gave the most unconvincing performance--calling her an actor is a stretch of the imagination. Her look got her roles. She better be thankful she's rich with out acting talent.
