I applaud your mom for being able to tell her story and living in her truth like a true elder. The problem with some parents are that they are so embarrassed and ashamed of thier past and they cannot stand in thier truths when reflecting back with thier kids. Sometimes that doesn't allow the children to understand what they were seeing in order to heal from it. So that's awesome.. that is IMO, being a wise woman.. she is teaching from her experiences.. I can see why she is your best friend

No TH-camr has ever got to me unlike Chloe particularly when her mom and her were talking about the stuff with her dad. She put my thoughts into words. I forgave my dad and I don’t hate him but I’m not going to lie and say he was the greatest dad because he wasn’t. Hearing someone else say that especially Chloe made me almost cry at work bc it’s the truth and exactly how I feel about the whole thing.

My daughter is 15 years old and her dad has been out of her life since she was 2. Not so much of a phone call text message Facebook message nothing and I always wonder what she's thinking in her head. I hope and pray she isn't thinking in her head that she wasn't good enough and that he didn't want her so I always try to make up for that as a single mother. Yes I struggle but I always find a way for my kids. So when u speak about ur dad it always makes me think of her.
I have a son and he is 4months, and one day I have to try telling him why his dad isn't in his life. For one he's in jail, two i dont feel safe around him because he always abused me, i wish I didnt have to have a talk with him but I know he's going to wonder who he is and how he was. I just have to teach him to be better than his father was and treat woman with respect too.

@@ashleyp2625 I would advise you let her know she is good enough and her dad not being there wasn't her fault. You should tell her to forgive him for not being in her life. I had a similar problem with my father. He was in and out constantly. It always hurt and I never really forgave him and I became an angry person and had major trust issues because of it.

Dont forget to put your meats and foods on paper towels after frying to get the grease out. (You prolly did it off camera) And realize too that you dont have to use a lot of oil with pork, itś greasy on its own and will crisp up and fry well without a lot of oil. I REALLY enjoyed your video!
