Actress Sabina Franklyn played Jane Bennet in the 1980 BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice.
This is one of my favorite books. Looking forward to seeing how they handled the characters.
Love these characters and their bonding...unusual man to notice a girl like Megan.
Love this one
Thanks for posting this. I remember that one. I thought the brother, the sister, and the young lady, plus Miss Marple were the highlights of the show.
I agree with those who say Christie's stories should be left alone. Why mess with classics? Her stories sold well when she wrote them and they still are in print today. All the unnecessary additions are a sacrilege.
Although i am quite enjoying the new Miss Marples(With both Geraldine McEwan and Julia McKenzie) this version of "The Moving Finger" will always remain my favourite. I wonder what ever happened to these two actors.
Andrew Bicknell continues to get a lot of work as an actor and Deborah Appleby coaches corporate executives.
woah this music sounds romantic
Thank you, and may I be so bold as to ask for
more, please?
Please, please, please.

Mmm Jerry’s a big dish xox
Sabina Franklyn was quite a fox!
Oh cute, look how they first met!!!
Why didn't you include any of the juicy bits with Jerry and Megan instead of all that dialogue in only 2 scenes?
This is only entertainment why become so annoyed if you don’t like it don’t watch
Very sorry, but I have already deleted the movie from my hard drive.
ctslpt hi
to máš pravdu, taky se mi víc líbí ta nová
This is by far the best version - the Geraldine Mcewen one is totally rubbish. Nonsense story lines that don't exist and characters that Christie never invented.
+Lollipopfop Perhaps I should have said "this is the version most faithful to the story as it was written" Which is always my point when comparing the Agatha Christie series. Whether Christie wrote inconsistent and/or irritating characters and whether the production team interpreted the characters in a way she hadn't intended is besides the point. This is the most faithful to the book, and all of the Geraldine Mcewen episodes are wildly inaccurate. That's all I meant. "Better" or "Worse" are perhaps too subjective to be didactic about.
Hickson is awful
@AgathaPoirot Geraldine McEwan is miss Marple
