- Revelation was sent to Prophet Muhammad (saw) in a region of the world that had one of the strongest race relationships. The Arabian peninsula was home to very strong tribal, ethnic and regional relationships. In the midst of all this, the Prophet (saw) came to abolish all such ties and declared that the true status was based on a person's piety and Taqwa. A standard that is extremely fair as it removes race, financial status, family and social standing as a measure of true status with Allah and society. In doing so, Islam solved an inherent issue of race that continues to haunt societies even today. Share reflections on this topic in the backdrop of recent unrest and violence in Baltimore and other cities in America. How can Islam and Muslims play a role in this national debate and how can we effectively participate and be part of the solution.

I live in the UK, many Indian/Pakistani families would i assume warn and be wary of their children mixing with black children (due a bad influence). Unfortunately many black converts i know of have said they are sick of getting hate from the asian community and seeing them as trouble makers.
The middle east is worse there are people that would refer to black people as abid (implying negro). Walahi really shows how our umma is perishing and how we have come further away from the message of Muhammad saws. Really puts to shame people like Malcolm X (rh) who fought to stop racism and even told America to learn about islam cuz there you will find your cure to the race problem.
We are really going back to jahiliyah. May allah rectify our ummah and bring back our izzah

believe me,,, they're also have feeling the same toward the whites, the yellowish or the red ethnic race (even those white, yellow or red people are muslim also),,, not just black african ethnic,,, that feelings not based on racist, feel superior than the other race but rather feel uncomfortably to dealing with another ethnic or culture that different from theirs,,, they're also lived in stigma or misconseption that sticked to other ethnic, like white people love to get drunk and racist to them as non-white person or black people tend to be lazy or smelly or yellowish have careless with everything lifestyle and eat everything habit even to the arab people,,, that's why they'll just stick with same culture of theirs,,, so take easy, it's common behaviour to every race, every religion, every country,,, not just muslim
I am Indian, and I can definately say from living in as asina household that alot of the cultural biases possessed by the Indian and Pakistani cultures are brought over and mixed with their islamic views (this is absolutely wrong). Islam teaches us the exact opposite, everyone is the same.
Mosques should not be segregated into becoming asian masjids/ black masjids/white masjids, as some churches are known to be.
They are a place for every type of diversity racial/intellectual/and economical. According to islam Its supposed to be a hub for equality. And this cannot happen if the leaders in the masjids themselves are only of one type of people (i.e asian).
The masjid leaders must represent everyone iA.

Sorry, my son, but this is too weak, and not very relevant to the real issue of discrimination!
First, we must start by defining "RACISM" and "WHITENESS", "BLACK" and "BLACKNESS"!
If we find out that there is only ONE HUMAN RACE, then there cannot be racism at all!
RACISM is a "WHITE" European construct, and millions of people around the world are "WHITE", including in Russia, the Central Asian countries including Northern India, Japan, China, etc. We have differerent biological and morphological types of a variety of colours or hues. Today's differences are primarily between cultures, languages (part of culture), tribes, families, professions, party politics, interests, etc.

But western culture and religion, including the religion of the Jews, the evangelical Zionist alliance, cultural differences....has done much harm in this world.
