I'm just gonna say, I was infatuated with someone in highschool, so much that it controlled me and made me feel worthless in a way. One thing I remember was that I knew there was someone better out there, and he would help me instead of hurt me like that. Shortly after he graduated I met a guy who was new to the school. I remember it being very rough at first, I treated him like a joke until I graduated. I realized I had a problem of pushing a lot of good people away and went back to the highschool when it started back to apologize to them. Since then we've had our fights and disagreements but we're still great friends. It's been 4 years since meeting him, and it's been the best years of growth I've had. It seems like I'm being tested though, right now I realize that I truly love him, but I have someone else tempting me at this moment. It seems like I'm not sure how to say no or even get myself to ignore him. The guy's an agnostic, but seems open to reading. I think it's just the fear that I might push him further away if I do. I don't know, this time I just have so many questions of where and what I should do. I just think that friendship has changed my views about relationships, even though there's no romantic interest. I think romance shouldn't be the main point, it should also be one in friendship and good respect. But I'll just trust in God to lead me through it all. Besides, he's helped me and my family for years, he would never stop loving us.

Mark I really appreciate your videos so much. I’ve been going through a season of doubts. When my relationship began it was peaceful and there was respect for each other. I moved past infatuation. But recently I’ve been struggling with the relationship. Nothing extreme has happened nor disrespect except that I struggle to trust God.
I'll tell u a story. My friend wanted to date one girl but she didnt want him. He cried on my shoulder because he was sad. I gave him advice to stop looking and trying to ,,find someone,,. He did as i told him. He lived his life, did things for him like hobbies etc. and few months later he met his wife.
I think it's because you focus on it more than the things God wants you to focus on, or Him himself. Trust in Him that He's preparing and teaching you and your future one so that when you two meet, your center will be Him

My friend wanted my other friend as a girl but she did not want him and she had every right to it. Besides he was going to places to find a girl but its not working like that. After when he stopped doing it he found his wife. But few y later almost lost her forever because he was egoistic and did not protected her from someone so she wanted to leave. Finally he understood that this person wasnt nice to his wife and told her to stop it. It was his mum. She thought she can stick her nose into his family and his wife suffered from it. He did not know about it because he was working so he didnt see what's going on. When his wife told him about that he didnt listen or didnt believe idk. God only knows how many times his wife cried because of that untill she had enought so she packed and wanted to leave. He FINALLY understood shes not joking and spoke with his mother that its his marriage and that she is welcomed there but its his family, not hers and if they would need her abvice/ help theyll ask. Now everything is ok but at that time i dont blame her she wanted to leave. Many ppl would do this.

I agree with this for the most part, but I feel you can truly love someone but it's an "unhealthy" union therefore you Have to leave. Just because you don't put up with constant verbal confrontations/emotional manipulation, over dependency, or jealousy (for example) doesn't mean you don't truly love that person. My ex always claimed that he loved me more because he was willing to work it out, but I got tired. He said I was weak because I told him I couldn't deal with this behavior anymore. But I know for a fact I love him. The relationship is just not healthy for me and it's not what God intended.

Mark, this has been a great confirmation for me :) I have been watching your videos a lot lately and the revelations you receive in relation to relationships have been very relatable and have pointed me in the direction I am in now, romantically. Although we are both young, God has shown us both that we are to be together. That was my first REAL LOVE, like 1 Cor... he was also my first heartbreak. Since then we've had our fights and disagreements but we're still great friends. It's been 4 years since meeting him, and it's been the best years of growth I've had. It seems like I'm being tested though, right now I realize that I truly love him, but I have someone else tempting me at this moment. It seems like I'm not sure how to say no or even get myself to ignore him. The guy's an agnostic, but seems open to reading. I think it's just the fear that I might push him further away if I do. I don't know, this time I just have so many questions of where and what I should do. I just think that friendship has changed my views about relationships, even though there's no romantic interest. I think romance shouldn't be the main point, it should also be one in friendship and good respect. But I'll just trust in God to lead me through it all. Besides, he's helped me and my family for years, he would never stop loving us.

I'll tell u a story. My friend wanted to date one girl but she didnt want him. He cried on my shoulder because he was sad. I gave him advice to stop looking and trying to ,,find someone,,. He did as i told him. He lived his life, did things for him like hobbies etc. and few months later he met his wife.
I think it's because you focus on it more than the things God wants you to focus on, or Him himself. Trust in Him that He's preparing and teaching you and your future one so that when you two meet, your center will be Him

My friend wanted my other friend as a girl but she did not want him and she had every right to it. Besides he was going to places to find a girl but its not working like that. After when he stopped doing it he found his wife. But few y later almost lost her forever because he was egoistic and did not protected her from someone so she wanted to leave. Finally he understood that this person wasnt nice to his wife and told her to stop it. It was his mum. She thought she can stick her nose into his family and his wife suffered from it. He did not know about it because he was working so he didnt see what's going on. When his wife told him about that he didnt listen or didnt believe idk. God only knows how many times his wife cried because of that untill she had enought so she packed and wanted to leave. He FINALLY understood shes not joking and spoke with his mother that its his marriage and that she is welcomed there but its his family, not hers and if they would need her abvice/ help theyll ask. Now everything is ok but at that time i dont blame her she wanted to leave. Many ppl would do this.

I agree with this for the most part, but I feel you can truly love someone but it's an "unhealthy" union therefore you Have to leave. Just because you don't put up with constant verbal confrontations/emotional manipulation, over dependency, or jealousy (for example) doesn't mean you don't truly love that person. My ex always claimed that he loved me more because he was willing to work it out, but I got tired. He said I was weak because I told him I couldn't deal with this behavior anymore. But I know for a fact I love him. The relationship is just not healthy for me and it's not what God intended.

What do you do when you like someone but they don't know who you are? I feel silly for liking him since I have yet to met him.
Is this person a public figure or singer of some sort? I've DEFINITELY had my experience with liking someone who didn't know who I was. Then we met and connected well but he liked an old friend and dated her by the time I saw him again next year.
He was everything I wanted in a man and I was SO BLESSED by that guy, I also prayed for him daily and watched him get blessed by my prayers as he talked about the things God was doing in his life. That was my first REAL LOVE, like 1 Cor... he was also my first heartbreak. But I'm praying and moving on it's been a year and I did date someone else and we have since taken a break to grow separately and then reevaluate things. I am still waiting for my future husband and the last guy who ended up dating another still reminds me by his example, although we don't actually speak when I am tempted to settle that I want MORE. I want that godly man who will love me right. Not just a man who loves me but isn't a christian, or a man who claims to be a christian but doesn't know how to love truly. Be encouraged and guard your heart (that's what I didn't do enough of when I liked that guy who didn't know me). God bless, I know things will work out someday! ❤🙏🏽
