When I hear music, I get a kind of video in my head that plays with the music. This one is of a village where the people's shadows come to life in the moonlight, and while some run around partying, some get together with the one they love to dance before they have to go back to their respective owners, apart for the whole day. The shadows can only leave once their masters are asleep though.
Yes! I finally found this song on TH-cam. I wish I could play this with my orchestra one day because this song is so awesome! (bassist that likes to play the cello parts)!!!
I just wanted to say that the cello motif at 4:16 is probably one of my favorite pieces of music altogether- the upper strings driving the cellos to dig in and having them respond almost like some sort of rallying call or war cry is really cinematic. The higher octave with the cellos at 4:20 is almost like a shout to me and the height of all the accumulated tension from the entire piece. I don't usually comment on these sorts of things when i notice them but it is so picturesque i couldn't imagine not sharing my appreciation for this specific part
so we started working on this and we have planned to fade the lights out as we play that repeat at the end 7 times fading each time by the time the light go dark, they're to turn off entirely and the orchestras to leave. (not yet choreographed)
I like your profile picture, and the bass part in this piece is gorgeous, although I'm a first violin, I almost wished I played bass just for this piece!
I like the cello part at the very end even though I play the violin but I DO know how to play the cello but violin is my main instrument I’ve played for 7 years and I’m 12
Ah I remember playing this in High School. This one really stuck with me.
2:21 - 3:05
When you have a playing test on the hardest, highest cello part in the song

That sounds cool... how did it go?
I love this piece, Joshua Reznicow is my music teacher and we play it for symphony
Does he have something against violin players by any chance? Because this part is crazy on the violin. Brilliant, but crazy.
Rach Frisella Joshua is violist so he favors them a lot haha
try the viola part on 144 in this i bet it's worse (it is) lololo
which school? I'm an orchestra director and composer too. I'd like to get to know other directors who compose.

2:00-3:50 sounds like a Schindler's List piece if it was composed by Yuki Kajiura. Probably just me... good piece nonetheless!

Oof I'm playing this as a first violin and the sixteenth notes are a lil bit too fast for me rn oof
Bel Air High School May concert 2017, no?

This piece is actually made for high school students play since most kids in middle school will find it very difficult bc of the tempo and rythem
