      Thanks for the kind words :) Glad you're enjoying the content. Fortunately, I can report that the rest of the trip along through the Pamirs was less calamitous. On which, more videos soon.

    i really appreciate your videos of adventures in central Asia, especially walking on the rugged roads alone, which is one of my dream to wander around Central Asia like you did. You are living in my dream, my friend. Congraculatins

    Good that nothing severe happened.
    I think the bigger problem is the driving, not the roads.

    • @JosephMorganYT
      @JosephMorganYT  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You're right, of course. The driving is garbage and certainly the most dangerous part of making these videos.

    I just discovered this channel and assumed it had hundreds of thousands of subs. Shockingly underrated content, and now the owner of the channel is possibly dead? I hope not.

    Oh My F###### Goodness! what a rollercoaster ride this episode turned out to be!
    A standing room only, vomit inducing ride out of irradiated Min-Kush .▼. Jumping into the back of a Bishkek bound, open top truck trailer .▲. Almost head stomping 1 of 4 hidden fellow passengers .▼. Epic vistas of the Suusamyr valley along the route .▲▲. A close call with Hypothermia due to the wind, rain and cold .▼▼▼. Catching a ride all the way to Osh from the Kumis junction .▲▲. Ticketed Speeding driver, puking babushka .▼. Safe arrival in Osh, and a well earned 48 hour rest .▲▲▲. A visit to Sulaiman-Too Sacred mountain, where plans to travel the mighty Pamir highway are told .▲▲▲. bloodied face, picture fades to black .▼▼▼. A harrowing account of plunging off a mountain road to river below .▼▼▼▼▼. Every passenger escaping the Opel Zafira .▲▲▲▲▲▲▲. Whisked off to Dushanbe, bloodied and bruised, a fake pair of Raybans the only casualty .▲▲▲. Shaken but unperturbed sign-off, not wishing to disappoint .▲▲▲▲.
    Thank you once again for taking us along the road less travelled. Sooooo glad nobody was seriously hurt! I hope your adventure down the M41 is much much much much much safer. Safety always comes first, content later. Onwards!

      That's quite a synopsis! Roughly mirrors my enjoyment of the whole thing too, although that truck ride with the rain was unreasonably bad.
      Glad to get out of it largely unscathed. There's plenty of accidents on that road, and many are not so lucky. I am happy to say that the rest of the trip on the M41 was without injury, although it did involve a close call of a different kind... Thanks for the support and kind words once again :)

    Having also flipped a car in the last two years (avoiding t-boning someone after misreading a traffic light perfectly framed in the setting sun), I hope the experience does not put you off all your travels. Happy that your injuries were also not severe, or anyone's, and that the travel is still ongoing.

    • @JosephMorganYT
      @JosephMorganYT  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That sounds like a scary one. It's definitely not an experience worth repeating. It did put me off a bit, but I continued the trip anyway into the Pamirs, of which there will videos very soon. Thanks for the support.

    Whatever doesn't kill you, makes for a great story later. Thank goodness no one got seriously hurt. Plenty of silver linings on this adventure though, like the view from Sulaiman-Too.

    • @JosephMorganYT
      @JosephMorganYT  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    First comment, Finally, This was yet another very interesting video, I hope the crash didn't scare you off from stepping into other people's cars, Also i wanted to ask, How is it you can go on these trips? How do you pay for all of this? And how much does it cost you, I am wondering because its been my life long dream to do the exact same thing once i got the money, I'm just 18 but i would love to start asap with travelling the world and recording all of it.

    • @JosephMorganYT
      @JosephMorganYT  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the support man :) It did put me off a bit, but I continued the trip anyway, of which there will be more videos very soon. I work online, so it's a bit easier for me to do these trips, but I meet plenty of people on the road who are just on holiday from conventional jobs. Central Asia is in general very affordable, especially if you opt to travel in the back of a rickety truck lol. You could do a good month-long trip for well under $1k, if you tried to do it cheaply. The website Caravanistan is an essential reference for planning any kind of trip in Central Asia.

    How were we to know that stepping on sleeping locals head was against their local customs and considered rude. Next time I hitch a ride through Min Kush, I'll know not to do that. Thanks :D
