Seo Yoon is my very first Awakened unit so I like her very much, while I can't say about comparing her to other awakened units (which all I failed to get..), she is a massive step up for someone like me who doesn't have flying chair lady or gaeun as a second ranger. even her being at LVL 86 she can beat even a LVL 104 kyle wong, so I highly recommend to pull as someone who managed to finally beat all hard PVE content after getting her (sorry for the long text)
I would recommend everyone to pick Attack speed set over CDR set if your CDR set can't reach above 65% skill haste . With more attack speed you can stack those kinetic rifles faster and put out more damage .
Bro, maybe you forgot that difference between lvl 110 and lvl 105 is huge. I agree that she feels less op than yuna, but she is scary when paired with a strong tank like nyb or hilde. I am just sad she took 130 pulls. Very sad...
Yea the reason why I reviewed her right now is because I don't have anymore fusion cores, it will be a while before I get her to 110 and many players are still deciding if they want to pull for her.
leaving the lvl difference aside, i think the comparison is a bit flawed, correct me if i am wrong since i don't know if the burn yuna causes around her counts in her dmg stats, i imagine it should and of course yuna wins in an scenario that favors her like killing lots of mobs, things probably would be the opposite if you use both in a raid boss or stage with very few but strong mobs. Anyways i like both of them and i don't care which is stronger, but i admit from using both that yuna is a bit of a better carry on her own since she can heal and sustain herself meanwhile seo yoon may also need a tank or striker that can soak damage for her on harder things, other than that both are great in my opinion
you gotta get her to 110 and then do the comparison. it makes a big difference as her stats get a huge boost. It's not fair comparing her to maxed out units
There is a 110 ASY comparison to NYB and Yuna at 9:30 on the enemy team. You can see that NYB does a bit better in terms of damage (kinda similar to GR's ASY performance) While there are some other factors that maybe influenced the damage that ASY makes, I can understand what GR meant when he said that ASY didnt reach his expectations. Shes still a strong unit nevertheless and i dont think anyone would regret getting her.

If you have some difficulty dealing with ASY try using Xiao Lin, the KR buff is now live in SEA and her special skill Mozambique shots now pierces through enemies in gauntlet, it gets 20% more damage the further the enemies are. If ASY leap back she will only got hit harder, and Lin attack range is like 2/3 of the battle area.
Yes. Awakened Yuna will surely have higher damage in battle stat because of her passive. She deals continuous damage to enemies around her. I dont remember of its based on her attack or her enemy's hp but if its based on enemy's hp, lol then there is only a few ways seo yoon can deal higher damage than her. The best asset of A. SEO YOON in pve is her push back and the fact that her damage stacks based on the number of rifles. If you get what I mean....
I felt that checking on DPS chart will not always be correct. For instance when Slyvia deployed she uses her skill and hit AOE, but after that she hits only single target. For the first few second Slyvia will hit her highest DPS but as time goes by her dps will drop. That means if Slyvia died after casting the skill, her DPS will be at her optimum value.
the chart result simply because her valid hit is 1, while every hit from Na Yubin counted twice. so he deals more dmg overall, but the front line opponents does not die. SY murders them one by one.
ASY breaking the meta like no other. Even if she's at level 100/102/104, she can help poking enemy defender at least. And you need a tanky frontline too. Her debuffs are insane. Its all about timing now if you wanna fight against Hilde/ASY or Yubin/ASY team. Thank you for your insight! Still amaze by your luck, man. Ggs only!
GR, i think ASY did less damage in that stage because it was a stage with a large number of high HP enemies, which yuna excels against due to her HP drain. ASY is more single target oriented, and in stages with single enemies, like Guild raid, normal raid, certain PvE stages, very few units come even close to her damage potential.
You should go for Aspd on ASY, the dps jump just from having it compared to CDR set is just too great. A much fairer comparison would be both doing damage to a lower level raid boss at different instances, since Yuna is more of a AOE hitter and ASY is singletarget.
I honestly didn't get the comparison on the pve part. ASY is a single target dos unit while AYuna is AOE. Also Yuna was deployed much earlier and they weren't both at max level as well. Just a bit flawed experiment/comparison imo
The thing is about CS (PVP wise) the META only really applies to high rank good players (Master and up). Mainly cuz at that point, the players are mostly evenly match in skill and the deciding factors left are the META and gears. Most of the players can even perform well even with full META team comp let alone having 72% CDR gears. So the issue with this unit META or not is quite moot. Chasing META are those who really want to climb the ranks and not just posers shouting META this and that. Build your team comp and pull units that complement the comp. Or pull for waifus.
Seo Yoon is lvl 105, stats for 105 to 110 are waaaaaayy different, also ive done so much reroll accounts and the only unit that i leveled with the event to lvl 100 that can faceroll PVE and PVP is Seo Yoon, dunno bout you but its not about the damage, its her other effects that beats the others, thats just my take.
ASY is meant to be deployed in front. Her passive and skill range is to good to pass up. She can reposition herself well. I do not understand why players are deploying her at the back
deploy her later like A. Mina, her blast from summon is really useful to knock and pile up enemy for AoE damage, the cooldown debuff also ruins their tempo
The 2 problems I have with deploying her too front is Chifuyu's seal skill might hit her or enemy Seo Yoon will be able to use special skill on my own Seo Yoon. Unless those 2 are already deployed then it's still risky.

You will get molds for hexa (but the drop rate is not high and the mission is hard thanks to 2x GIANT ATAC Gunship patrolling the sky). You will need 100x adv gear material (I forgot the money needed) to craft 1 hexa gear. It is T5-T6 gear.

If you're focusing on PVP then the most used awk units are Ministra, Rep. King, Rep. Queen, Yubin, Amy, LSY A. Seo Yoon doesn't get used that often anymore
Yuna has been out of the Korean PvP meta for a long time now . Seo Yoon is still somewhat viable but is overshadowed by other awk unit like Ministra or LSY in term of damage /dealing debuff and by units like Millia in term of raw DPS / flexibility . Not to mention there are ways to counter to Seo Yoon now by using units such as Spira . But Seo Yoon will still be dominating SEA server for quite awhile seeing how she was actually banned for a record 10 weeks straight in KR .

I think a yuna's passive 2% dmg plays a big part on her dmg on top of having more dmg than asy
