- Robert Plant & Alison Krauss perform a cover of Led Zeppelin’s “Rock and Roll” during the Outlaw Music Festival at the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater in Virginia Beach, 6/26/2024.
For anyone wondering, that is world class musician Stuart Duncan on the fiddle. He was amazing.

Beautiful 🎉
Great show, watched all 3 of your videos. Thanks!
Of course! Glad to share my experiences with others!
JD McPhearson rocks as well on the guitar. He is from my hometown of Tulsa Oklahoma
Which one was McPhearson? I remember there were a couple of Krausses, and Stuart Duncan, but I don’t remember everybody.
He’s great
@@nedajenyap He's on the screen at the 1:50 mark. His band also opens shows for this tour.
@@jmill3147 Good to know! Thanks!
I like Allison but she just stands there like a fish out of water most of the time while Robert almost twice her age is so animated. She was more lively on their last record.
I was at this show… I was disappointed overall and left in middle of Bob Dylan
@@goodnosj Well, to each their own. I enjoyed it all, but I would’ve loved it more had Willie been there. Too bad the poor guy wasn’t feeling well.
To put Led Zeppelin tunes in bluegrass form is really a misfit. Seems like Robert Plant is anxious to bust out and be his passionate self. Dredd Zeppelin does work. Set to Raggae with an Elvis impersonator doing Plant's vocal work with mixed lyrics.
@@Mentott I think it sounds amazing in this format, but to each their own. Part of the problem is Plant’s voice, which obviously is not what it once was.
That was painful to watch.
@@johnm8096 Well, no one said you had to watch it. As long as they’re wanting to perform, and people will buy tickets, they can perform.
