james is not hard to guard, all you need is similar weight and similar speed as james, because he doesn't have the finesse, all his moves are simple hard drive power moves, iguadola does it, leonard does it, artest did it etc etc, when you have someone like that LeBron will be basically neutralized, other players only need to shadow him and not help one pass away. And the thing about his team is that it all works around him, so if you can bring LeBron down to half of what he can do, his team will diminish by alot

Zook T facts he relies on athleticism completely , no real post game/footwork like Kobe or Jordan=not much of skill offensively and easier to guard by a strong enough player

Brandon Johnson totally and it came up last week. It was so obvious that he needed to play off the ball a little and drive the ball but he waits til game 4 at the end to use his size to get to the rim. If he had played 30% off the ball, he would have got to the free throw line more and caused GSW's defense problems - who knows what could have happened. But he needs to stat pad and so the offense always flows through him. He has no killer instinct and always looks for someone else to create the win. And still the talk show media idiots surreptitiously suggest he's better than MJ? Please, lol...

+Isaiah YSL Doesn't matter he had 3 chances to win a 3rd game 2 were at home and Lebron does his usual Lebroning and chokes it away and then would go on to trash talk then lose at home in front of the people who's stupid enough to actually put their money on Lebron after he gets cocky. It's just like Pacquiao who kept talking trash and then we all saw what happened.

Isaiah YSL That's literally a challenge, not just that, he went out of his identity and instead of patting himself on the back he brushed his shoulders off as if that's what he's used to doing but it's not of Lebron to be over-confident and/or setting the record straight as if he has to remind everybody that he's the best in the world we already know that he's basically boasting.

+Carlos Jiménez MJ and Kobe are scoring machines..., they thrive off of contests, tight defenses and locking team defenses... So they are of a different mentality and mindset, Lebron is more of a go according to the flow type of a player in close out situations, although he has been quite aggressive at times and performed remarkably - Lebron is more like an orchestra conductor, whereas Kobe inspires with his solo heroic acts, One is a genius at using ordinary talent and elevating them and utilizing them with finesse, another is a genius at doing everything that it takes to win.., One is a Hunter.., another is a killer... Lebron reads the teams defense, he tries to set his players up and he attempts to take over the game by judging the game's flow and mood..., He is a tactical maestro..., Scoring is not his only approach and desire in a game.., He is not aggressive in his command of the game since he wants the rhythm to flow through him and into his teammates, he does what is needed of him in every scenario and purposeful moment... Kobe meanwhile sets the mood right from the start with his aggressive energy and laser sharp focus.., He is also great in late game situations because his game attacks with force and intensity..., Lebron is always divided about what is expected of him in late game situations, since he can close out a game in a variety of ways..., although if you take a look at all his games, he is quite masterful at being clutch... especially in big moments .... It's just that it is never consistent and hungry to the level of a Kobe, since that to him is not the most important thing ... He understands the team concept in his game style and he always seeks to engage his teammates... MJ and Kobe are different animals..., I believe that Lebron has a far better playoff career..., He has been very consistent and has always elevated his game come playoffs..., He has done great things for the game of basketball and has always been a treat to watch.., I just believe that his intensity during the final few minutes is missing since I feel that this would throw off his opposing defenders, He should attack them and not be so timid and take a long time to think things through.. He should play with his heart, guts and instinct.

Mohamed Matan Exactly, his offensive skillset will be exposed against the Clippers with Kawhi and PG guarding him, because they are both great defenders and are long it’s for Lebron to just blow past them. Plus, he’s not a great shooter, doesn’t have a great handle, doesn’t have elite footwork and doesn’t go in the post enough. A player like KD wouldn’t be fazed by their defense because he can score from anywhere on the court at an elite level. It’s no coincidence Lebron is only shooting 37% in the 4 games against the Clippers

This demonstrates that Lebron doesn't have a reliable scoring move that can get him buckets down the stretch when his team's offense stagnates. At this stage of his career, he should have 2 things: (1) a virtually unstoppable move and (2) a counter to the unstoppable move.

His problem is strictly about basketball skill in such situations. I 'm telling you if you make him pick up the ball when he is not already moving and put him 1 on 1 without help screens he moves as slow and as clumpsy as if he was Shrek.

I think the thing about Lebron is that on the Cavs, they rely on him too much. During the playoffs, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving got injured and Lebron actually carried his team to some victories but he just didn't perform well in clutch moments. Lebron is a great player but he just has some problems like everyone else. (And don't even talk about J.R Smith. All he does his jack up 3's)

Lebrons James downfall is his ball handling skills that need to greatly improved because he currently looks down for the ball to much. Also his footwork is awful, he doesn't know what to do when get gets stopped in a drive because he's so accustomed to going straight to the basket and laying it up or dunking. His overall game is great but the lack of those to skills is hindering him in this case and many others, also his teammates sucking don't help the situation.

For the record, I don't consider LeBron to be the GOAT, but it is not entirely correct to say Andre Iguodala shut LeBron down. While Iggy certainly did a good job, you'll note he had a teammate lurking on every play, ready to cut off drives or employ a double team. This forced LeBron into tough, contested shots. The Warriors were able to employ this strategy because the Cavs didn't have a lot of other scoring options, and you'll note when LeBron passed, his teammate usually blew it anyway. In the 2016 Finals, the Warriors didn't have the same success with this strategy. When they tried it in 2016, Kyrie carved them up and when they didn't, LeBron was able to find a lot more success in true one-on-one situations.

There's a vid of the Dream Team practicing drills vs coach Monty Williams in which he's giving everybody a hard time. Melo, Durant do the best job against him in these drills which are physical low post drills. Bron can hardly get a shot off. The lack of footwork and overall post up game is clear. And for all the talk of "he's bigger and stronger and will dominate the 90s!!" talk, he really appeared to struggle vs a smaller Monty Williams.
Meanwhile, an old MJ used to give Monty the business with ease.
But I keep hearing how great Bron is and how he'd dominate the league due to his size... joke.
There's videos of him struggling to post up Curry. Curry defends the shit outta him in some possessions. CP3 used to shut him down as well, and there's no need to even bring up Pat Bev.
