He will learn all of Kobe’s teams’ defensive structures and strengths and weaknesses of each player.
Basketball is a game that can be played in many different ways, and is beyond the simply constraints of “can he guard him”. I understand Jordan’s style made you feel that way but this is basketball. It is simple people tend to forget Kobe and Jordan are both first team defense. Many great scorers played top notch D. Defense is what it sounds like which is defending. Defense is not all about steals, blocks, and turnovers. Defense is making it difficult for the offense to score by defending the rim and rebounding not giving up second chance opportunities.
