Ig if the ufotable studio worked on it and made a remake of Tokyo Ghoul with the entirety of the manga even for today's gen it will turn out as a masterpiece. Ufotable is known for their budget not care- i mean insane level animations so it would be great if the legendary Tokyo Ghoul goes to the hands of ufotable.🎉
Worst of all, they did Tokyo Ghoul Re: dirty too by removing a lot of moments from the manga that was hard to read like Kaneki having a mental break down when Arima lied to him that his friends and Touka are dead, Amon and that CGC intern being locked up in cells and being forced to eat human flesh, Kaneki being crippled and mutilated and Furata telling him that he lost, Kaneki realizing that he’ll never see Touka again and won’t be there when his child is born, causing him to turn into the Dragon Centipede, Tsukiyama’s emotional breakdown by telling everyone that they’re wrong about Kaneki and Touka desperately finding her husband through massive thick layers of flesh, while she’s pregnant.
I’ve been wanting a hero in shining light of a studio to re adapt the manga properly for years. But unfortunately I don’t think it will be happening in my lifespan 💀💀⚰️
I liked the season two ending where Kaneki is holding his friend in his arms and then planes you come overhead and I thought it’d be perfect if they ended it there, but now they kept it going and they gave him a god awful haircut
You know what Season 2 really feels like to me? Like the studio thought the Manga version of that section of the story was too complicated, so they oversimplified it. Like they didn't think the watcher would be intelligent enough to understand the nuances, and so they made it a shallow battle Anime. It's honestly fucking insulting. To both the viewer and the author.
The reason you might not like season 3 because it's like this at the end of season 2 when ken kaneki was carrying his friend the human detective I forgot what there called captured him and in season 3 his memory got wiped by the ccg I think that's what you call him and gave him a new nickname and he had to work with the ccg to capture other ghouls like using ghoul parts on some of the members of the ccg like doing the ccg bidding but then ken kaneki got his memory back and then ken kaneki is back it's con fusing but you'll get it aventually and then you'll understand I loved season 3 it was like a twist from the other 2 seasons but Tokyo ghoul is a masterpiece

It should get the full metal alchemist treatment 1 story which is created by the anime staff and the other following the mangaka. Not saying either is worse or better, but it would be interesting seeing basically a different universe of character and a different story in the same setting that isn't just filler. Think Naruto alot of filler is good imagine if naruto got the full metal alchemist treatment having 2 stories the anime and the manga (like dbs), one where the filler characters pop up and the story is in a different universe while the other is strictly manga.

Pierrot where good series go to have either endless filler or are rushed to death. Honestly only 2 series were actually really good with Pierrot Yona of the Dawn and Yu Yu Hakusho. Outside of that if I were a mangaka I’d beg my publisher to not authorize to not pick Pierrot.
