I like the idea of a level one party leasing an animated mobile redoubt that they quest to pay off. when I first read the arms and equipment guide back in 3.5e I imagined an all dwarf adventuring party that was always two or three levels ahead of them and every time they came back with news of an accomplishment they were already there with something slightly better including a dwarven tunneler that they built themselves, but around level 12 or 13 you end up saving them and be coming allies instead of rivals
The group patrons in Eberron: Rising from the Last War are great. Really helps in writing campaigns. My PCs are an independent private eye firm, which is such an easy way to give them quests, and keep them as a consistent theme.
I love hearing Jeremy talk about advice and new rules. It's always useful! :D
And he’s even better when played at x1.5 speed! 😉
Group patrons was a great idea. Glad to see it expanded to other campaign settings.

Gundren Rockseeker, the first published group patron of 5th edition!
Do you think we can get Jeremy to enlighten us on more vague rules in the PHB? I love those two episodes and wish we had more
And I hope he says "Oh ya, we forgot to announce finally the *Spelljammer* setting to connect them all together"
Well, there ya go lol
Oh yeah I hope this means we will be getting a Ravenloft setting world book
thank you for the awesome vid
I actually forgot this segment was still a thing
i think use this with the roles from Acquisitions Incorporated book be a good addon too give PCs individual roles
Did Jeremy just sort of confirm Spelljammer as a new 5e setting?
I hope they bring out more Ravenloft related stuff so it's not just Strahd as the focus in 5e.
Your wish came true!
So basically an expanded version of Acquisition Incorporated?
Honestly it depends
How so?
Strahd as a patron...
