Part of the reason why the expensive smart watches have less battery life is the fact that they have a heavy UI. Of course, having the sensors ON all the time will give you one third of the normal battery life but having WearOS and LTE connectivity is also a major reason.

I have been using a watch 5 44mm lte for almost 10 months now. And I've only faced 2 issues: 1. Airtel: you cannot activate esim with airtel prepaid. I had to convert my sim to postpaid. 2. Esim activation: I wasnt able to activate my esim through my phone(oneplus 10R) but it worked when I disconnected the watch and connected it to a fold 3. I think you can activate esim via phones that support esim only.
Dear Sir, using this watch for past 14 months. 3 Points - 1. Would like to correct that 03:39 there are charges of using Airtel Network (Additional 300 Rs./Month) and moreover one needs to change his/her Airtel sim from Prepaid to Post Paid or needs to port his number to Jio as in current times only these 2 networks are providing the facility of LTE Watch. 2. As far as my knowledge is concerned the Galaxy Watch 3 is also having LTE version. 3. The Screen time of Galaxy Watch 4 LTE Version (with 40 mm dial) is 100 minutes (i.e. 1% battery / minute ) in case someone watches TH-cam videos on.

I’ve been using watch 4 since 3 months now, I must say that it is one of the best decisions of my life. It’s fabulous. I get around 2 days of battery backup with HR monitoring at 10 min intervals and it is also helpful in sleep tracking. Go for it.

The bad battery is a huge CON for me. Ye to wahi log old era me chal gaye jab watch me chabhi deni padti thi chalne ke liye. daily daily charge karna is a proper headache. Isse acha ya toh amazefit series ki watch sahi hai, ya to best old classic "Analog watches".
Samsung watches are worth every penny, I got my samsung watch 4 classic for just 14k (non lte 46 mm) and its accurate in every workout tracking , and is of very easy usage, and it even connects to any wireless earphones , I use my redmi buds with watch and it works perfectly fine👍👍👍👍

I have recently bought Galaxy Watch 4 for rs 11,000, and trust me its worth it. I have been using the under 3000 watches for sometime, but now it actually feels smart. All the other smartwatches focus more on gimmicks like 100 sports mode (nobody actually requires them), and not even have the basic features like calculator, spotify, etc. You can even download songs on your watch and connect your earbuds directly to it. If someone is going to buy a smartwatch I would strongly recommend to save some money and go for the galaxy watch (ofc considering what is your budget).
bro i use fireboltt invincible plus, it has 1.43 in amoled display i can download my songs in watch as it has 4 gb storage, i can directly pair my earbuds with the watch, the watch has speakers of itselves aswell. It also has all such features like sleep tracker etc, also i got a steel strap with it , all under 3800, do you think i should buy galaxy watch 4 ? will it be an upgrade?

People don't buy cheap ones out of choice but simply put they can't afford these ones. I'm using a 10k phone and buying a 10k worth smartwatch wouldn't really be a smart choice until and unless I really require some of the features you mentioned.

One reason this could be selling for so less is some features are not available in India and samsung doesn't seem to be having a plan to include them in future.

In countries it got approved, it is available. and all you need to do for it to work is install APK. if that is too much of hassle, then keep using the "SMART WATCH" under 3000k 😂 Samsung cannot do anything about it if govt. doesn't approve it.
THE brand IS offering that and its sensors in the watch. It's not much of jugaad as the sensors etc are there (ecg uses different sensor) but the thing is Indian govt hasn't approved the software as i think samsung hasn't applied for approval. @@k26295

Rakeshji mujhe aapke practical & honest reviews bohut pasand aate hain. Lekin yahaan mujhe thoda thik nahin laga. No doubt Samsung galaxy watches ki apne ecosystem mein connectivity & features kaafi achhe hain. Mere according ek smartwatch ka sabse imp feature(apart frm health tracking) is to keep one connected & be able to do basic phone task for some time, even without the phone. For which LTE is very imp. Two parameters that practically makes the galaxy watches useless is- 1. Battery life- I can still make compromise with it as it is better than the current leading industry standard(Apple) Still the LTE models cannot be trusted. The battery drain is shockingly high & fast. Also charging takes hours, due to overheating in Indian summers. 2. OVERHEATING OF LTE MODEL & repeatedly entering cooling period- No reviewer talks about this issue, which is very apparent and accross all LTE models. With just 15 secs of LTE call, the watch overheats, disconnects call and enter into cooling mode(basically turns off everything except time, till it cools down again) This overheating problem, specially in LTE models, practically makes the LTE models useless. Rakeshji please comment on this & if possible make people and Samsung aware of this issue, a flaw that cant be ignored. Thank you for your wonderful reviews always.
Useful product insights, but last checked LTE was not free on my networks, only VoLTE is, when bundled with cellular prepaid subscriptions. Please stay accurate! Not all "smart"watches and watchphones are premium I owned a GPRS watchphone for INR 2k back in 2016 that has a simchip slot and a micro sd card slot too. Performance was not perfect but was not too bad either.

Jaise ji aap low network zones m ghuste ho, ye watch signal acquire karne ke liye apni puri jaan laga deti h and fir overheat hokr auto-shutdown ya fir airplane mode per chali jayegi. To agar aap bohot hi acche network area m rehte h to ye thik se kaam karegi, otherwise kahi low network zone hit kiye to 1 min ke andar overheat hokr band ho jayegi. maine pehle watch 4 classic LTE mangai thi uske saste price ke chalte, fir return kardi. Fir maine watch 5 Pro LTE mangai and usme bhi same issue nikla. Further research kiya to pata chala ye known samsung thing h. Pura internet bhara pada h inke ye issues h per sadly, koi youtuber ye cover nahi karta. Sab iske baare m accha accha hi batate h. Battery inki one of the poorest h. Not useless. Mi band and Realme watch show accurate bpm. Which is useful, also they show time. So we can say it's a smart watch.

People don't buy cheap ones out of choice but simply put they can't afford these ones.
I'm using a 10k phone and buying a 10k worth smartwatch wouldn't really be a smart choice until and unless I really require some of the features you mentioned.

and all you need to do for it to work is install APK.

THE brand IS offering that and its sensors in the watch. It's not much of jugaad as the sensors etc are there (ecg uses different sensor) but the thing is Indian govt hasn't approved the software as i think samsung hasn't applied for approval. @@k26295

Lekin yahaan mujhe thoda thik nahin laga. No doubt Samsung galaxy watches ki apne ecosystem mein connectivity & features kaafi achhe hain.
Mere according ek smartwatch ka sabse imp feature(apart frm health tracking) is to keep one connected & be able to do basic phone task for some time, even without the phone. For which LTE is very imp.
Two parameters that practically makes the galaxy watches useless is-
1. Battery life- I can still make compromise with it as it is better than the current leading industry standard(Apple)
Still the LTE models cannot be trusted. The battery drain is shockingly high & fast.
Also charging takes hours, due to overheating in Indian summers.
2. OVERHEATING OF LTE MODEL & repeatedly entering cooling period- No reviewer talks about this issue, which is very apparent and accross all LTE models.
With just 15 secs of LTE call, the watch overheats, disconnects call and enter into cooling mode(basically turns off everything except time, till it cools down again)
This overheating problem, specially in LTE models, practically makes the LTE models useless.
Rakeshji please comment on this & if possible make people and Samsung aware of this issue, a flaw that cant be ignored.

Useful product insights, but last checked LTE was not free on my networks, only VoLTE is, when bundled with cellular prepaid subscriptions.
Please stay accurate! Not all "smart"watches and watchphones are premium I owned a GPRS watchphone for INR 2k back in 2016 that has a simchip slot and a micro sd card slot too. Performance was not perfect but was not too bad either.

Sir, SAMSUNG ki sari LTE enabled watches overheat karti h. Inki sari generations m ye fault raha h. Jaise ji aap low network zones m ghuste ho, ye watch signal acquire karne ke liye apni puri jaan laga deti h and fir overheat hokr auto-shutdown ya fir airplane mode per chali jayegi. To agar aap bohot hi acche network area m rehte h to ye thik se kaam karegi, otherwise kahi low network zone hit kiye to 1 min ke andar overheat hokr band ho jayegi.
maine pehle watch 4 classic LTE mangai thi uske saste price ke chalte, fir return kardi. Fir maine watch 5 Pro LTE mangai and usme bhi same issue nikla. Further research kiya to pata chala ye known samsung thing h. Pura internet bhara pada h inke ye issues h per sadly, koi youtuber ye cover nahi karta. Sab iske baare m accha accha hi batate h. Battery inki one of the poorest h. LTE mode per to within 4-6 hours drain ho jati h. looks and feel m premium h per usability m bohot hi ghatiya h.
Samsung ne abhi tak acknowledge nahi kiya h apna ye fault and on the contrary, wo log bolte h ye overheat hona ek function h. Apple watch kabhi aisa nahi karti. M logo ko yehi advice karunga ki agar aap Galaxy Watch ka budget banate h, ya to Bluetooth variant hi le otherwise thode or paise dalkr ek robust Garmin Watch le. Unka data highly reliable hota h and bohot hi sturdy hoti h.
and sir aapse request karunga ki aap Galaxy Watch LTE overheating ka issue plz highlight kare taki samsung ke top officials isko acknowledge kare. sab agar aise hi accha accha bolte rahe to hum consumer aakh band karke le lete h and fir return/refunds/service centre visits m lanka lag jati h hamari.
