    I remember this storm marching its way north into Seattle. I was catching the bus downtown from Shoreline and barely missed one of the storm cells that I ended up traveling through. Unfortunately, there was another storm cloud right behind it, so when I got off the bus downtown, I still got soaked. That lightning tho...

    I see circulation in this. Winds constantly shifting direction. Probably a very small tornado...at least very near.

    Clouds look simultaneously terrifying and beautiful

    Always remember, Roll Clouds are not an indication of a Tornado, although they look like one. They are an indication of an Approaching Gust front. Ominous but Beautiful.

    I was playing a baseball game at Capital High School when this happened, it took 10 lightning strikes before the game was stopped.

    This is called a microburst. It's when a powerful thunderstorm collapses on top of you.

    I was in Dupont when this hit, still at work. My idiot co-workers were all standing right next to large windows when it went through. Got dark as midnight but you could see the trees being whipped around. I wasn't scheduled to leave until right after it'd passed. I was lucky, I live on the West side of I-5 and it didn't do much there.

    Looks pretty freaky to me. We had a microburst here in Phoenix (i used to live in Oly, so i like to watch vids like this and reminisce about Wa) ... I'm 6,7 minutes from downtown....i look out the front window and the wind was blowing so hard i could not see anything!! At all, nope, nada!
    Freaky for sure

    Looks like a Southern California El Nino storm. Storms like these usually happen in December, January, February and March.

    Ominous roll cloud and major microburst. So not normal for our region. (Waves from Issaquah!) This would make me think there's a tornado somewhere nearby...

    • @ThaMagnaCarta
      @ThaMagnaCarta 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      its because of you idiots that have no explanation on why something happens that people continue to think that global warming is fake. these things are rare, but rare as they are, they have been with us since we had our first thunderstorm. only recently have we been able to understand why and how they happen in 94 with the doppler radar. so no this is not because of "GLOBAL WARMING". polar ice caps melting and snow in my place of living is global warming, not a micro burst.
