Did you ever end up figuring out what a Propeller Item Cancel actually is? Also, for the bomb skips in Be Faster, were you just supposed to do a full jump at the place where the ceiling is lower? I figure that would give you a slight bit extra distance to make that work better, when you hit your head.
@@ryukahr the propeller cancel was dropping the spring and picking it back up while flying. That way you don't hit the spikes and you would still have the spring. They made the timer too loose though so hitting the wall didn't do anything
That Kaizo stage was one of the best ones I've seen. Perfect difficulty that makes you use a bunch of different moves, and timing, but gives you check points so that you feel rewarded for making it that far.

Why the bomb landed closer when you jumped to throw it: Because you jumped to throw it, the bomb was moving down when it passed the horizontal end of the ledge, so it hit the ground sooner than it would've if it slid off the ledge on a flat trajectory. Congrats on getting through! The last few runs were full of heartbreak, glad to see this one turned out better!

I think the idea behind propeller tech is to cancel your spin by throwing the spring so that you fall faster so that its easier to beat the levels (not so) stringent time limit?
"Propeller item cancel" sounds like how the propeller was introduced to Super Mario World in Super Pickle World (I've just seen Thabeast play through it)

last stage after checkpoint you had to hold spin jump button to get maximum height, the ceiling has spikes but in between exactly for every jump the is a straight ceiling
I think on that bomb setup you were trying to too perfectly bounce, while ignoring the safe spots on the ceiling above. Throw bomb, take maximum height jumps to bounce between the bomb and the ceiling.
Definitely awesome new tech that will change SMM froever. An amazing obstacle for speedruns, this level creator is pure genius! Really enjoyed the vid got me with the title ;D

The Uh-amazing tech was when you twirl or spin fly with the copter outfit, as your going up, throw the spring to the landing platform or where Mario lands, when the spring is thrown, he some how stops spin flying and it cancels him spin flying to where he is free falling. You then keep twirling or pressing ZL or ZR on Wii U Gamepad, so it makes him twirl regularly. For ex. small or big Mario jumps from a ledge to another ledge and it’s a big jump, he needs to “twirl” to make the jump because it’s to far. Back to the Uh-mazing tech, once u throw the spring, he once again, stops spin flying. He now stops flying and falls as fast as Mario would without his copter. You must twirl to make it to where you threw the spring because you’ll fall in the lava. But, our God has somehow cheesed again, all bow down and serve our Master.. Ryukahr!
For the crazy bomb jump you got it every time you bonked your head on the second jump, and died when you didn't, so I think you just needed to hold jump.

The "couple of times" you got it were simply when you jumped high enough on the second jump. You always undershot it due to fear of hitting the ceiling but that was ok there.
Because of your last few smm videos I figured if it's under 30mins he didn't make it but you did congratz! But it gave me an idea try doing all of. Super. Expert in 30mins or less without editing it!

The 2 times he made it he hit his head on that ceiling and the majority of his deaths were when he didn't so I'm guessing that's what's intended.
I think they needed to make the entire ceiling spikes to force the tech. The timer itself was fine.
The last one you had to headbump the ceiling, that way you moved farther right, just had to press jump whiling spining.

Apparently the "new tech" is the ability to throw and regrab an item to cancel the propeller spin. It's also a level from over 2 years ago.
