The neo does have a gps, it's geo fenced, and does return to home when paired with the remote controller or motion controller, on the rc-n3 it will show a homepoint on screen map.
No clue why you said it has no gps.it has an onboard gps module. Straight from dji official site, neo has an onboard gps module, and supports return to home via smartphone app or rc remote.
I ordered the Fly More combo and it's due to arrive on Monday. As a fellow-local (I'm in Bucks County [in Trenton Mercer airspace, so I know to have a care and will get my 107 quick-fast, cos I had ground school for the Private Pilot license I never got 'round to getting!]), one of the MANY things I'm looking forward to is capturing footage of the Waterworks on the Schuylkill, and--if there's time--the USS United States on Delaware Avenue ("Columbus Boulevard?" What's that?)
I forgot you had this channel! So used to seeing you review shoes!😂 Also, the drone does get gps and return to home when paired with a controller. Spotlight is more like a tripod that stays in place and stays focused on you.
Whoa… Bump an obstacle and drop like a rock? It would be nice for it to attempt a recovery hover instead. But from other reviews, looks promising and the price point is welcomed.
@Mike_The_Bike_591 it's not bad, but it's not great. If you can afford better, then buy a better drone. But if the neo is all that's in your budget, you won't be disappointed.
I have the Neo DUDE GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT the Neo has GPS + Galileo + BeiDou so why you saying it doesn't have GPS when it does. Also half the features it as you don't know. AWFUL REVIEW . THE WORST REVIEW I'V SEEN IN A LONG TIME.
I don’t like to be a pile on but this a very disappointing video. From not knowing answers to basic things to using the same couple clips… cmon man. You have a million subs on a different channel so you even know better. I create videos too and learned a long time ago it’s better to not release anything than release something half assed. Cadence and stitching is great. Clean video and clear audio is great. Seems like you created because you had to get that sponsor money. :/
I love the NEO as it is vary versatile but....... I would not exactly call it a budget drone. Yes, If you want to just use your cell phone to do some quick selfie shots, its fine for $200. But if you want to be able to really control it you need to fork over another $200+ for a controller and yes with a controller it does have GPS. If you want to them do FPV get ready to fork over another $300 for the headset. I like that you can buy it and not go all in at one time but at $800+ if you want FPV...... that is not really in the budget category.
I agree, imo the best thing about this drone is it can do acro, so you need the expensive dji controller, and the expensive goggles, the reason I haven't bought this drone is because I have the fpv combo, it came with controller, motion controller and v2 googles, none of them work, this is typical with dji, their expensive

You had the drone for 2 months and you made a 12 min video while replaying the same few clips you took from the drone. What a shame.
Even said features that he can't remember what it does. Didn't even finished waitching it.
Only problem is low light problems so I bought a snap on light
The Neo can definitely set a GPS point if you use the controller. It has return to home in that made.
The point in the product review when you say you don't remember what the product does, that's not helpful.
It behaves like a spotlight. It stays still and only rotates around, up, or down.

If you are walking toward the drone in flight, will it record you, while flying backwards? (Versus only flying/recording while it's behind you)
did it work with the RC-N1 controller?
Thank you
Tech reviews about as informative as his sneaker reviews were 😂
Clearly you did not use it very well it has a RTH option if you fly it with a controller. This is unreliable review.👎

Good review. I have a Mini 2 - can I use the Mini 2 controller with the Neo?
No.I have same. It’s to do with occusync
do you have a coupon for the neo? 👀
I just bought one of these as a urban explorering drone
Interesting - what’s your experience so far?

Ooompiya review.. the worst review I have ever seen.
Is that Cattus Island in Tom's River you're jogging in?
It definitely does have GPS ..
The Dji Neo has gps
Yep sure does I just ordered one so I don't have the ha ds on yet but I think you need a controller to use the GPS I could be wrong though
Chinese drones not ban in Pen yet?
Thx
Neo doesn't have GPS????
It does. I have the Neo HAVE YOU ?
@@mancavehobbies6213 Your attitude sucks

Some of the things that you said here are not true . Please try the drone properly and come back again with a better information
What's the range with a controller?
4 kilometers (claimed, at least). I know battery will be an issue before range limitations if you have a controller.
Do you need graphic designer for thambnil editing
Idk, but you need an editor for your comments.

This drone is for kids or people that don’t want quality 🤷🏽♂️
That's not true there's multiple reasons why the neo could be an appealing option for someone.
Jeeps........this is TH-cam........stop with the sponsor crap and do the review........got tired of waiting went to other review......
They gotta eat you know, fast forward

The RC-n3 is only 129 new. Catch it on sale for 99.
What is the diff between by controller and phone? Did the drone travel lots of meters if have a controller?
@@GachaMommy00yes somewhere around 4 kilometers is what is claimed. Battery will be an issue before range limitations if you have the controller.
It’s the most useful piece of crap on planet Earth
