    These videos are gem, for us and for you as well. You can clearly see how you made some minor mistakes in your verification phase which led to the losses, like taking early entries, Fomo, And predicting the trade. But when you were not doing those things you were taking the right decision and trades. These videos are the best example of how psychology playout.

    Despite the fact that I invest, I am saddened by my inability to evaluate each company's performance and determine whether or not this is the ideal time to purchase stocks. My monetary stockpile is being depleted by inflation. At this stage, I need accurate market trajectory data, but I'm not sure what to do.

I might agree he is working with emotions, but the problem is that on the futures, in this case index cfd, the inner volatilità change very fast. Sometime is just a matter of days, and if you dont have a method that calc this fast changes, your stop loss might be too tight, or ur take profit too large, or ur size completely wrong. In this case, from the last weeks of december and the firs weeks on january, the inner volatility on the sp500 decreased a lot, and the market went in a choopy mode....so the take profit he was using before doesnt work anymore.

    The only difference is I am starting with $17 and as of right now about $400 [a matter of 3 days - swing trading helped ALOT and some day trading ] so I got stopped out a few times due to lack of capital so NO ROOM FOR ERROR. Just my 2cents. You really need to go for that 1:2 RR at least. If you win 50% and make 1:1RR youre gonna end up loosing money. I have a 2RR with 50% win and am up 10% on a 200k account.
    I go for TP1 1:2RR, TP2 1:3RR. I risk only 1000USD per Trade, where even that might be to much considering that would be 10% of capital. Should be less but then it gets hard to pass the challenge in time. You should not consider 2000 being 1%. Sure it is, but the real capital you have acess to is just the maximum loss, meaning 10000usd. If youre system is statistically profitable over a large sample size, you will make profit. Thats how the casino works as well, sure they have no idea if the next roulette roll is gonna turn a profit or not, but they damn sure know that over a large sample size they will always go out with a profit. Thats how trading works.
    With my statistics out of 150 trades (thats only for the A+ Signal types that i trade, i also trade others though which are not included here), both tps were hit 47 times, only tp1 61 times. Thats only a ~40% winrate but still a over 20% gain on capital in about 2 months of trades.
    Keep losses small! Dont risk 2000$, you have a loss streak of 5 and youre out.
    And one more find, like I said i backtested 150 trades. When i had a "dynamic" stop loss, meaning for example below last wick, but with same size always, the profit over those 150 trades was 28500$. When using a fixed Stoploss/Size, meaning stoploss is below the wick for example, but the position size is adjusted so that the risk ALWAYS is 1000USD no matter how far away the SL might be, the profit turned up right away to 48600. Im pretty sure if youd make sure to know EXACTLY where your SL is before, calculate position size so that you only lose those 10% or whatever, then go with 1:2RR. A Stoploss somewhere in the desert doesnt make sense. Just as you saw on that trade with the ema on the one minute, use something closeby that INVALIDATES your idea. If it breaks the EMA with a close, your idea of going long is invalidated right in that moment, hence the position has to be close asap. What happened for you there was that you were right, but you chopped it up because the point where your idea was invalidated was unclear for you. You got emotional and chased.
    If youd say that with ema break you exit, you wouldnt have closed it, wouldnt have realized the loss and instead turned a profit.

    • @leotrades6960
      @leotrades6960  ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m aware of the benefits of a better RR but personally I prefer the emotional benefit of a higher win rate with a 1:1 RR. But lately I have considered compromising for a 1:1.5 RR.

    • @carbonfabrik
      @carbonfabrik ปีที่แล้ว

      @@leotrades6960 Not meant offensive at all, really enjoy watching your vids. I can also tell you changed up your style a little bit from the videos a year ago. Watched all of them. A 1.5 RR with a slightly lower winrate would for sure give you far better results.
      Or maybe, consider going for your 1:1 as a TP1 and keep 30% of the contracts in to ride it further up. I cannot tell what the statistics are for your strategy, but for me, as you saw in 47 of 61 cases, tp2 was hit if i hit tp1. Thats a very high likelyhood, and despite i didnt do the statistics, i can tell that in at least 20-25 cases I wouldve even hit RR4 or RR5. If this is just a little similar to your strategy you will definetly get a bigger payout like that! But im on the 15m timeframe, and i used RR2/3. I didnt backtest what would happen if I went to RR1/2/3.
      For ex. 300 lots for tp1 and then open a 100 lot positon to go a little higher. Pull the sl to entry (minimum) when tp1 is hit, or pull it after aggresively according to market structure. Exit when market structure tells you to or when it breaks below the 20 ema on the 1 minute. You had so many trades in all those videos where you missed the bigger move because you were out early.
      Keep it up man!

    Hey Leo! I see you had a funded FTMO account @ 5:48 . I just had one and blew it. If you don't mind can you share your expereince from the funded account. what went wrong, and your plans on preventing it from happening again. Thanks!

    do they pay you out these profits once you completed the challenge to get funded? or does it not monetarily count if that question makes sense. let me know id love to know that as I'm considering documenting going from free trial to challenge to funding in a youtube series

    I am not going to say right or wrong, but based on what I see your risk reward ratio needed to improve and you buy at premium instead of a discount and you sell in discount, please I am not going to tell what u need to do, but is just thought. Good luck

    You don't know anything about trading. Learn price action. How to buy on resistance and sell on support... And control your emotions. When I trade, I'm not happy with the profit, but also not sad with the loss either. The trader must be in control.
