If I remember correctly the creator’s said that their music program couldn’t change the music speed so instead it makes clock ticking noises. Check the individual video

He did, I tried my hardest to make it weird without going too far
in the final verse there is a heavy auto-pan effect that happens making the song sound choppy
and it occasionally fades in and out of a soft muffled effect
