Hey I'm really sorry but the 7 free JERK SHADs and free shipping doesn't apply for these lures. BUT it does for this deal bit.ly/FishAholic-11lures - Click this link and select 11 lures for .01 cent. Yeah just one penny for 11 lures and just pay shipping!! You can mix and match or select 11 Salt Strong Jerk Shads. Thanks so much to all of you for watching! I hope all of you can catch as many if not more fish on these lures than I did. More videos to come!! Tight Lines, Rich
How's it going Rich? I was just wondering if you were going to have more videos of you up in New Jersey fishing, or is that where this is? Also I'm a little I should say very new to all the stuff that you're doing. When you say you have the 20 lb fluorocarbon leader on, how do you attach it to the braid line? Is it with a metal swivel, or is it just tied together, I never know this when people say it. Keep doing what you're doing, I think I'm learning pretty much otherwise, I subscribe to quite a bit of channels, but most of them don't describe the tactics like you do, or actually even talk to us, it's just like you're watching someone fishing and that's it. That's not like you at all! Thanks again! God bless!
Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit th-cam.com/users/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.
That distant shot from :08-:12 was absolute gold. Everyone with a drone does a top-down shot. Keep up with those original perspectives and your content. Fantastic!!!
Hello rich! I love your content and watch every video! You gave me the courage to go and try lures this year for mass stripers rather than just bait fishing!
Nice job. That's good eats. I have a bottle of the Dr. Juice stuff. My whole life smells like it now. Truck, fishing pack, rod handle. It's uhhh...potent. It catches the fish though.
I’m definitely a novice kayak fisherman and it would be interesting to hear your perspective on weight and presentation of swim baits. I think the rule of thumb is to try and go with the lightest jig head possible to keep a realistic presentation but I feel like I get to caught up on using heavy jig heads to stay within 3 to 4 feet of the bottom when targeting flounder (I’m in NC). I’m not sure if I have an exact question but I find it hard to find the middle ground on staying near structure or the spot I want to fish and what size jig head to use with strong current
Hey Rich how do you like the water shoes? Fit a close match to your regular shoes? I've tried Huk and some others brands, but had a hard time finding shoes that I'm happy with; be it sizing, comfortability, or them just holding up. Thanks for another good video.
Hey B Stav, thanks so much for the invite and I definitely would have joined but I already left the area so I could fish and film elsewhere. Tight Lines till next time 🤙🏻
Can you go fish in the Phillipines? You can have vacation in Coron Palawan, El Nido and Puerto Princesa. You can rent a boat for a cheap price there. They catch tuna there too but different way of fishing lol. I would love to see you go to my country.
Ahh you definitely have to check that box for these fish. Super fun to catch and they taste great. But unfortunately this is a really small spot so I kinda want to keep it on the DL but if you live in NJ. And look at a map. Find all the inlets that lead to the ocean. Those areas around the jetties can be super productive late spring and summer. Early spring just move further back into the harbors and bays. So you can follow those same waters that run through the inlets up further away from the ocean and find Fluke in the channels in depths of 5 to 15ft where the water is warmer than the ocean, and the inlets. There’s also more bait back there which attracts the fish. Shark River, Manasquan, and Barnegat Nj would be good places to start. That’s where I started when I was little kid exploring around with my pops. Mostly only shore fishing until I got my first kayak when I was 12 so that eventually led to finding spots like in the video after much trial and error.
@@FishAholicTV Florida resident these days. Well then there goes one subscription down. Didn’t know adults play the I’m not telling you where I fish game. Cool bro.
Ahh yeah I’ve fished these waters all my life and the water is super cold when I was there so I knew the chance of that was very low. If I was fishing Florida or the Carolinas around the same time I filmed this. Then I definitely would not have put them on a stringer.
Just saying flounder run up the bank during higher tides and wait for bait to come in and out of the grass line. I will say that if you want to catch more flounder you must use jerk shads. Every time I've used jerk shads I've caught keeper flounder .
IT slays, but it is the weakest material I've ever seen. You can't even put them on the Texas eye jigheads without them falling apart. They are good at catching fish though. Just wish zman would put some out like it in the same shape/size. They do on the flukes, but not the low profile swimbait shape.

That moment when your day at work was a nightmare, but there’s a new fishaholic video so the day isn’t so bad anymore ✌️

Nothing like jiggin up a limit! These vids make my day
Wow another amazing video. I have a hard time finding flounder down here in south Florida. Keep it up rich. Great content. 💯💯💯👍👍
Hey Rich, I just wanted to say that your videos teach me so much and that I love them! Keep up the great work!
Hey Red, thanks fo much for writing this! It really makes my day reading the positive comments!! Tight Lines until next time! 🎣
Never caught more than 1 flounder at a time, you killed it !
So sick man. You’re making me wish flounder was legal right now in NC! Great video!
Broiled flounder stuffed with crab 😍🤤🤤
I learn so much every time I watch your videos
Love watching all of your videos!!

Another banger video. You should do a video with a subscriber.
Look just like the gt 360 lures. I love those things.
QUALITY 👍
Thank you , God bless.
That first one was a nice little fluke. But that second one was a little nicer. Way to go tight lines 🎣🎣🎣
You should try Megabass lures and we need more merch😃😃

The other variable is how heavy your leader/line is. Try going lighter on your leader first and see if you pick up more bites that way.

Great video! Rich, let me know if you’re interested in fishing with me in Avalon, NJ when you head back south. It would be great to have you aboard!

Looked like the Shrewsbury Rich, no? Nice video.
Can you provide a link to your kayak? Any plans to upgrade/change or is it THE one?

Try 6 inch Arkansas shiner sluggos on 3/8 oz jig.. you can thank me later🙂 just under surface for blues, lower for stripers and fluke
Do you ever have trouble with sharks when using a stringer like that?
@FishAholicFishing what brand is your Kayak
Trying to get this fish off my bucket list since I was a kid. Mind if I ask where you went?

After watching Make Time for Fishing, if I were you I would rethink putting fish on a stringer on the side of your kayak. Shark bait!

Can you easily fish out of your boat in the same places you kayak fish or are you in some sure enough kayak only spots ?
Rich< you in Charleston or FL in this one.
better watch your speed in that no wake zone lol
Where can I get a kayak like that with the pedals
so does this mean you won't be fishing ny this year??
Where do I purchased Dr juice slam @?????
Try a dropshot rig with those minnows
I’m in NJ for a wedding this weekend and it makes me want fish for stripers but didn’t bring a rod on the plane 🥴
I can’t wait for flounder season to open up in NC
Are u on the Va or Nc side
Back bay where? NJ, NY? Which bay.
On average how deep is back bay?
Yes those jerk baits are my favorite tail smelt is the best next to the glow and white ones. I use them here in Virginia Beach and kill the fish.
nice
Hi Rich,
what state is this?
Good
Back bay where?
Where is he fishing? More exact the better :)
Where are you fishin 🧐
Back bay Where 🤨

They make 4 and 5 inch shads in the same profile lure
17inches isn’t a keeper… it’s 18.5 in this year.
Haha in NJ it is two at 17 to 17.99” slot and one 18”+
@@FishAholicTV Oh, my bad, I thought you were in New York 😂
