I had a lot of fun fishing a white fluke. Some people swear by that lure for snook. I'll have to fish it a bit more this summer.

I swear, it's like an art watching fishermen just effortlessly place lures under mangroves. This inspires me to get into fishing honestly
I used to use the white flukes for bass fishing. No weight and jerked it side to side.
Also, I run the hook through the opposite direction so that the hook sits inside the groove and is somewhat hidden.
The motion of the fluke darting side to side triggers good strikes from bass and snook. I have also caught small gag grouper and trout.
Great video! Also you can throw a light coat of Dr. Juice on your chest and the cougars at your local bar will go crazy.

Try marinating the baits over night in the juice. Saves juice and I feel like it holds the scent longer
The KVD Strike King shad/ fluke is my favorite. It’s heavier than the zoom and can be cast quite a ways further, MUCH further. Not as durable but has much better action in the water too. Pointed tail wiggles around a bunch, HIGHLY recommend it.
Justin, the zoom white fluke is one of my favorite go to lures. I’ve caught several different species with it, including schooling dolphin of shore.

Hey Justin, nice video. I also use Dr Juice and have caught Snook and other species using it, but from personal experience you only need a drop or two then rub it over the lure, otherwise you are going to burn through that little bottle! Much success in your tournament!

I use the pro cure ladyfish, a definite favorite. I do agree with you, however what I have learned with procure is to really smear it in and it seems to last longer. I have even fished it on a fluke with a jighead on the bottom and had snook pic it up.

Also, I’ve tried that Dr Juice and from my use, seems like it dissolves too quick compared to Procure.
I’m my experience it just doesn’t show like the procure. If you smell it it smells stronger and you can actually see an oil trail in the water on dr. Juice and not procure but in think it’d be pretty hard to prove which is better
If you put a large squirt of doctor juice into a zman bag the lures will soak it up completely and you wont see any oil at the bottom of the bag
Make sure the lure is dry when you apply it.
All I remember from when I used procure is after like 10 casts I couldn’t smell it on the bait. After 10 casts of applying Dr. Juice I still could.
Interesting, maybe it’s the visual that’s making me think it’s not there but the smell is, I guess I never actually smelt it haha.

Sick video Justin! I switched over to the Dr. Juice a little bit ago and haven't looked back, I feel like it dissolves into the lure better even if you cant still see it and stays on longer. Hooked into some nice snook and reds like you on my last trip out using it.
Yea man I just ordered my first bottle of Dr Juice and interested in how its gonna work. Like you I used to use Pro Cure but wasnt happy how it wouldnt stay on very long. Gonna be heading to Sanibel for a week in mid April so I will see how it works out!😎
Dr juice is oil based it holds a lot better to the bait
Never been a fan of bait PED’s. Tried em in the past but went back to the ol 3” curl tail straight. Ain’t hating. Im sure you’ll catch more than me.

Dr Juice my ass ! Try jell instead, Liquid Mayhem Fish Attractant Scent Gel or Bass Dynasty Double Garlic Bd Slime. Hands down both are better than any oil based liquid. The Garlic works very well in salt water.

Every time you put the juice on you should dump it into a Ziploc baggie that way you just can keep reusing it rather than wasting and putting all that stuff into the water

Any tips for muddy/murky water reds? I can't really sight fish too well and blind casting doesn't produce anything. Ive only ever had results with live bait.
Try using any paddle tail or shrimp with a chartreuse color tail. Like the z-man minnowz root beer and chartreuse tail
Gold spoons or "cajun magic" style spinnerbaits. No fancy retrieve needed. Just cast and reel back at a moderate/slow speed
oh and I forgot to say I put the pro cure in the hook channel. That helps keep it longer

Using an actual fluke hook will increase your landing percentage.
I’ve never heard of a fluke hook. I’ll have to look that up.
