No need to explain the number of palettes, Nisha. You and Paul are clearly financially savvy and spend wisely relative to income and lifestyle. It's not as though you're wasting a penny you can't easily afford. In fact, your collection is relatively modest and I was intially imagining an even bigger stash, lol! Most of us have hobbies we enjoy. Yours has tipped over into online beauty advice, so of course you'll have extra kit and most of us are grateful for it! Your advice is second to none and would rival that of any professional make-up artist. As for not postiing links this time, anyone able to watch YT is likely sufficiently IT savvy to simply Google whatever interests them. So keep doing you, hun, and don't feel pressurized to explain anything unless you want to. I'm sure the vast majority of your viewers are clever enough to realize you're one of the few YTubers in the genre whose content is consistently high quality, refreshingly frank and fun, while at the same time always classy. Hi Nisha...I have a really old eyeshadow. I bought it when I was 14 years old when we lived in France. It is by Max Factor and the color is French Blue. I’m now 69 years old...lol 😂😂. My husband and daughter told me to get rid of it but I refuse...I don’t use it anymore, it’s an antique. Call me crazy!

Im the opposite - never reach for my premade shadow palettes ( I got Norvina OG and love it, TF Chocolate Bar the original and a few more), I always pull my singles out, its so satisfying to be able to create my own color stories and build my collection ahh, just love it !

I understand that being a You Tuber involves giving your followers the best and most honest reviews of various make up and is much appreciated.However, my thoughts are that when one buys a whole large palette of eyeshadows,there are invariably a number of shades which remain pretty redundant or repeated in another palette. It probably makes more economical sense to purchase individual colours which you know you are drawn to rather than spending a small fortune on a palette.
What people choose to spend their money on for pleasure is their business. Whether its shoes, clothes, hats, homewares, crafts or makeup its up to the individual and whats worth it to them

I merely put forward the idea that those who find such makeup items expensive and then don’t use half the colours,then it seems far more logical to buy single shadows. 😊Eyeshadow Palettes!! My favorite makeup. I'm obsessed with eyeshadow palettes. I have about 12, but would have many more if I could afford it. There were/are Too Faced palettes that I wish I had. I would like to get a green palette. I have green eyes and like to wear green eyeshadow sometimes. There are palettes that have two or three green, but that's all. I'm excited to see all of your palettes. Your eye look is gorgeous and you wear it so well. I love that you have donated makeup to women's shelters. Your yellow sweater/top is so pretty. I love yellow -- it's so sunny and makes me happy. I would never get one of the huge palettes. It would overwhelm me. I can barely handle the regular full sized palettes. What fun watching this! I see a pattern of mauve and pink shimmers in your favorites Miss N. lol. I'm picking up one of the new Tarte (Sugar Rush) palettes, but it's brown neutrals and is reminiscent of Toasted. Lorac Noir is beautiful too and has removable shades and they sell singles you can replace them with. I've seen some reviews of other youtubers who get a lot of palettes for free and some of them have never been used. One palette that I've bought three times is Emilie Noël's! And every makeup I do with this palette I always refer to the seven videos you produced! I have a lot of palettes but they are not of the same quality but I always try to reproduce as best as I can the makeup you present! I subscribed to your channel several years ago! I saw a recent video on new Tarte holiday releases (as they say in the States). There were a couple of new eyeshadow palettes. She said the one that she had bought was identical to the Toasted palette and the other looked the same as the Juicy one. Emma x
Just got rid of a few of my palettes , same as you I hate getting rid of them ! On the look out for a couple of decent ones, not tried Charlotte Tilbury yet so probably one of those for sure . Thanks! I’m needing a new palette. But I need a small one. I made some notes to go back & look at after work. I have the tarte juicy palette but I don’t use all the colors & I feel like my eyes look irritated using the pink colors. Lol I just need like 3 or 4 colors! I would love to use a blue color with the thoughts it would bring out my blue eyes but those colors do not look good on me.
If you can't wear the pink ones try to layer them with some of the browns it will make the look a bit more plumy and hopefully stop your eye looking irritated lol xx

I just wake up, look in my eyeshadow drawer and see what I fancy that day but some days I find it difficult to choose so then I just do my simple "bronzer all over the lids" look especially if I am not going anywhere xoxo

I’m always on the hunt for the perfect nude shadow.. not too pink, not too peach.. I want it very shimmery, almost wet looking to do a one and done shadow look. Any suggestions Nisha?
I would not use a shimmery shadow all over my eye because the shimmer would emphasise my hoods, it's best to use a matte shadow in and above your crease unless your eyes are not hooded. I am not sure what colour you mean by saying not too pink and not too peach lol You could always layer pink with peach and you might get something in between lol, sorry I am probably not much help xoxo

It is hard to explain what I’m looking for Lol.. I like the tone of the maybelline single shadow “nude glow” and wear it a lot but it doesn’t have quite the reflect I wish it had. I guess I have an excuse to keep collecting eyeshadows! 🥰
Beautiful collection of palettes. Would you consider purchasing the large palette from Make up Geek. I hope Tati comes out with a smaller palette. Colourpop makes such affordable palettes.
I don't think I will be buying MG as we can't get it here in the UK, one website used to stock Makeup Geek but not anymore and ordering from US costs more as I have to pay duty on it, once I ordered some individual shadows from her and 2 of them were completely smashed xx
Have you tried the Persona indemnity palette? I am considering the 2022 Cruise by Dior quad. I don’t wear a lot o eyeshadow. A quad makes way more sense for a rarely wear shadow person.
Hello gorgeous 😍 I do not own a Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow pallet,YET!!!! One day.......Do you think the mini's are just as good quality? Keep them, anyone's that are older. Spray them with alcohol to disinfect. I'd still use them.......❤Tati I'm no TH-camr or Infuencer and yes I own way too much makeup!!!!!!!
Nisha I'm curious as we all do it differently. How long do you keep a palate before thinking "it's gone bad let me toss it?" I honestly keep mine like forever haha. I've never had a good palate go bad. But is there such a point lol?
Also, I will say dont feel bad or justify having so many palates! I'm the friend that says if you want it and can afford it, GET IT! I've told you before, my hubby and I are similar to you and Paul. We have all the gadgets and so does our shitzu haha. I too have more eye shadows than I'll ever use but it's just a satisfying feeling. We all have atleast one thing that we have way too much of. Hi Nisha! If I may suggest, instead of tossing the expired pallets out try to donate them to funeral homes, where the pallets can be used in the deceased ones.
I was told that make up has a shelf life though, doesn't it? 18 months usually and then should be chucked as it collects bacteris, Is this not true then?

hi yes but charlottes formula has changed thats very different,,i have all her holiday palettes and almost all her quads but they are all different, just seriously get them side them side , they are different , on the skin on me being pale undertone they change colour on me . thats why i love her palettes they may look the same but on the skin on no very different, same with natasha Denona , i have all her mimi palettes, but two only of her midi , glam , and retro , i did but Biba but its warm toned andi just hated it so i gave it to my niece ,, Pat mcgrath , being mature her shadows look awful on me according to me , i just dislike them i have two motherships and one quad and one five pan and one i think its was star wars i passed those on to my niece too i just disliked them , certainly not for me . during lockdown i decluttered almost all my makeup and started again and its taken me a year to replace palettes with shadows i actually want , and love , all my collections of ABH , Tarte, Tarte, all full collections all gone , all passed to my family . now i feel alot happier, i have always used estee lauder since being a teenager ,soyesi have lots and love those , without question . so hope everyone enjoys there own declutters , stay safe my love to everyone my love liz xxxx

What fun watching this! I see a pattern of mauve and pink shimmers in your favorites Miss N. lol. I'm picking up one of the new Tarte (Sugar Rush) palettes, but it's brown neutrals and is reminiscent of Toasted. Lorac Noir is beautiful too and has removable shades and they sell singles you can replace them with. I'd like to think custom palettes will be a thing someday and we all can have a palette of our dreams. Great to see you! Come back to NY soon!

I've seen some reviews of other youtubers who get a lot of palettes for free and some of them have never been used. One palette that I've bought three times is Emilie Noël's! And every makeup I do with this palette I always refer to the seven videos you produced! I have a lot of palettes but they are not of the same quality but I always try to reproduce as best as I can the makeup you present! I subscribed to your channel several years ago! You are the first beauty youtuber I subscribed to! And I am very proud to be part of your community! You gave me the tips and tricks I've been waiting for! I saw a recent video on new Tarte holiday releases (as they say in the States). There were a couple of new eyeshadow palettes. She said the one that she had bought was identical to the Toasted palette and the other looked the same as the Juicy one. Emma x

Just got rid of a few of my palettes , same as you I hate getting rid of them ! On the look out for a couple of decent ones, not tried Charlotte Tilbury yet so probably one of those for sure . Thanks! I’m needing a new palette. But I need a small one. I made some notes to go back & look at after work. I have the tarte juicy palette but I don’t use all the colors & I feel like my eyes look irritated using the pink colors. Lol I just need like 3 or 4 colors! I would love to use a blue color with the thoughts it would bring out my blue eyes but those colors do not look good on me.
If you can't wear the pink ones try to layer them with some of the browns it will make the look a bit more plumy and hopefully stop your eye looking irritated lol xx

I just wake up, look in my eyeshadow drawer and see what I fancy that day but some days I find it difficult to choose so then I just do my simple "bronzer all over the lids" look especially if I am not going anywhere xoxo

I really really like the big Tartelette Juicy palette, but you mentioned that is no longer available - which is unfortunate. However, you have provided so many options that I love, so I will have no trouble picking out something to try the next time I am in the eye palette buying mood. I’m always on the hunt for the perfect nude shadow.. not too pink, not too peach.. I want it very shimmery, almost wet looking to do a one and done shadow look. Any suggestions Nisha?
I would not use a shimmery shadow all over my eye because the shimmer would emphasise my hoods, it's best to use a matte shadow in and above your crease unless your eyes are not hooded. I am not sure what colour you mean by saying not too pink and not too peach lol You could always layer pink with peach and you might get something in between lol, sorry I am probably not much help xoxo

It is hard to explain what I’m looking for Lol.. I like the tone of the maybelline single shadow “nude glow” and wear it a lot but it doesn’t have quite the reflect I wish it had. I guess I have an excuse to keep collecting eyeshadows! 🥰
Beautiful collection of palettes. Would you consider purchasing the large palette from Make up Geek. I hope Tati comes out with a smaller palette. Colourpop makes such affordable palettes.
I don't think I will be buying MG as we can't get it here in the UK, one website used to stock Makeup Geek but not anymore and ordering from US costs more as I have to pay duty on it, once I ordered some individual shadows from her and 2 of them were completely smashed xx
Have you tried the Persona indemnity palette? I am considering the 2022 Cruise by Dior quad. I don’t wear a lot o eyeshadow. A quad makes way more sense for a rarely wear shadow person.

Nisha I'm curious as we all do it differently. How long do you keep a palate before thinking "it's gone bad let me toss it?"
I honestly keep mine like forever haha. I've never had a good palate go bad. But is there such a point lol?
Also, I will say dont feel bad or justify having so many palates! I'm the friend that says if you want it and can afford it, GET IT! I've told you before, my hubby and I are similar to you and Paul. We have all the gadgets and so does our shitzu haha. I too have more eye shadows than I'll ever use but it's just a satisfying feeling. We all have atleast one thing that we have way too much of. Never be sorry for your lifestyle if it makes YOU happy. XOXO
Eyeshadows are dry products so don't get bacteria so much as bacteria needs moisture to survive, you can always spray them with a fine mist of alcohol disinfectant, leave the palette open do dry xx

Hi Nisha! If I may suggest, instead of tossing the expired pallets out try to donate them to funeral homes, where the pallets can be used in the deceased ones.

I was told that make up has a shelf life though, doesn't it? 18 months usually and then should be chucked as it collects bacteris, Is this not true then?

hi yes but charlottes formula has changed thats very different,,i have all her holiday palettes and almost all her quads but they are all different, just seriously get them side them side , they are different , on the skin on me being pale undertone they change colour on me . thats why i love her palettes they may look the same but on the skin on no very different, same with natasha Denona , i have all her mimi palettes, but two only of her midi , glam , and retro , i did but Biba but its warm toned andi just hated it so i gave it to my niece ,, Pat mcgrath , being mature her shadows look awful on me according to me , i just dislike them i have two motherships and one quad and one five pan and one i think its was star wars i passed those on to my niece too i just disliked them , certainly not for me . during lockdown i decluttered almost all my makeup and started again and its taken me a year to replace palettes with shadows i actually want , and love , all my collections of ABH , Tarte, Tarte, all full collections all gone , all passed to my family . now i feel alot happier,
i have always used estee lauder since being a teenager ,soyesi have lots and love those , without question . so hope everyone enjoys there own declutters , stay safe my love to everyone my love liz xxxx
