- There's an uproar over a new Netflix documentary series on disgraced wrestling mogul Vince McMahon. The 79-year-old showman co-operated in making the six-part docuseries "Mr. McMahon." However, he's now slamming the series. McMahon accuses the show's producers of using "typical editing tricks to distort the viewers’ perception." He's especially angry over how the series deals with his downfall following disturbing allegations of sex trafficking by a former employee, Janel Grant.

He's bee doing this longer than Diddy!!
It was already public that he drugged wrestler even the government sued him
Wait, he didn't just spell "Raper" and leave out a "P" did he?
Vince is not gay or a child predator
So the world’s greatest professional wrestling promoter of all time is upset that a documentary distorts reality? The irony is overwhelming!
Very underrated comment haha
Media
It doesn’t even seem distorted now I haven’t watched it yet but we know a lot of the bad stuff about him is true
Greatest no, Biggest yes
Vince ruined the lives and health of Wrestlers because he was too greedy, didn't want to give health care and didn't want to treat the Wrestlers as employees but "independent contractors" so he can pay them less. Because of this, many wrestlers died an early age, suffered health problems or forced themselves to continue wrestling despite being old.
And screw Hulk Hogan for betraying the wrestlers who wanted to unionized during the 1980s because he wanted the money and fame for himself.
I’m not disagreeing with you, but the problems with the biz go beyond him.
Vince didn’t suddenly take over and invent all these problems with the wrestling business. That was just the way it was back then. It wasn’t Vince’s responsibility to change and clean up professional wrestling.
@@UFCWWE69no but clearly, he had the capability to seeing as they created the wellness policy. As said in the docu, he never told anyone to take steroids, but he certainly implied it. He may not have created the problems that plagued pro wrestling but he was part of it.
@Brandon-mh3pv The schedule of the WWE made it all a problem to begin with. They had no time to even breathe, they were constantly on the road. For shows, house shows, etc.. / days a week, 12 months per year . that's actually crazy, and was one of the biggest factors, why so many jumped over to the WCW so easily: more money, and a better schedule. The horrible schedule actually increased the use of drugs, and was one of the main reasons for the poor health of so many wrestlers. Bret Hart and Kevin Nash amongst others, already confirmed that themselves.
@@UFCWWE69 Under the wwe and Vince, it became worse. That's the point. It's true that the industry was full of flaw, but that doesn't take anything away of what the WWE did itself. Actually it was Vince's responsibility to look after the health of his wrestlers, which he clearly didn't.
That botox makes him look more creepy!! Diddy ain't got ISH on Vinnie Mac!!
Lies again? Netflixplex Beach USD SGD
It really does. Botox is one of the biggest things I wonder why rich people do it, it looks so bad.
Diddy is just as bad if not worse then Vince
Diddy provides baby oil.
Vince provides sterixds.
Ironic, after years of ruining WWE industry and its wrestlers, he dont like it when being ruined just the way he did

so true. ego, him him him
Vince McDiddler finally going down
He’s really not
It is deceptive. Hes actually much worse than depicted because they left out the Janel Grant stuff.
I'm pretty sure it's because Netflix can't cover ongoing legal proceedings.
They left out a lot of stuff. They didn’t cover WWE’s ongoing working relationship with Saudi Arabia which Vince started, or firing numerous WWE employees during covid despite them generating record profits (meaning there was no financial need to fire anyone), they didn’t bring up Vince’s pettiness, like when a wrestler would get over with the fans but it wasn’t someone Vince wanted to push so he would bury them out of spite, etc. There was a lot that wasn’t covered, however if they included all of that, it would have been 25 episodes instead of just 6
@johnselwitz5362 That's all he-said-she-said stuff that means very little compared to major events like the steroid trials, Owen Hart's death, and Benoit. Netflix would be wasting everyone's time and money if they chose to focus on every single wrestler's problem with Vince.
The most important thing they left out is that Janel was willing to do anything for money once the payment stopped than she made a fuss
@@Arcangelmichael83 Gold diggers......
We need a movie about the life of Vince McMahon directed by Rob Zombie and written by Andrew Kevin Walker.
😂
THIS IS THE OPPOSITE OF A DOCUMENTARY. This is clearly just the congratulate Vince mini series.
In so many episodes there was simply no time to delve into how lawsuits, prejudices, brand betrayals or even long term steroid ultimate affects on the aspiring athlete.
😂😂😂😂
@@rhyno8644I do agree with you, but for them to truly delve into all the controversies and the depravity that has gone on in that company under Vince’s leadership, 6 hours wouldn’t have been enough to go through all of that, you’re talking about a 20 to 25 episode series at an hour per episode. And because of Vince’s involvement in a large portion of the series, that just wasn’t going to happen.
@@rhyno8644 Any medical textbook can provide detail on steroid use.
If he knew they were going to portray him in an unflattering light, why agree to be interviewed for the documentary in the first place?
ego, it's all him him and more him
They started filming it back in 2021, well before the most recent allegations came to light, and most of what Vince had done over the years had long been ignored &/or forgotten.
Or perhaps they were going to start dishing the dirt, and this recent case, along with the FBI involvement now, just beat them to it.
My guess is the docu was part of the Netflix deal.
It was filmed before the lawsuit
“Mr. McMahon” calling this new docuseries about him “deceptive”?? Wow. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black
Glad he’s gone, he ruined wwe and now triple h took out of the graveyard and saved WWE
now that’s crazy. He didn’t “ruin” wrestling if anything he made wrestling. Yea he was washed the last 5 years but those 30 years of wwe was awesome
The last 15 yrs of WWE has been pretty awful.

I love how inside edition throws in Vince’s “close relationship with trump” as if trump was right by his side when this was supposedly happening. What sloppy journalism!
In the series they actually take an opportunity to bash trump 😂
Come on.
If it was Biden the Trumpers would be all over it, screaming about how bad Vince is and his connection with Biden.
But when it's Trump. Oh, don't be picking on him.

VINCE MCMAHON?! !!!YOU'RRRRE FIRRRRRED!!!!!
TAKE OUT THE TRASH!!!!!
How is it sex trafficking when she agreed to do it. I don't get it she grown.
Probably one of those "position of authority" or "conflict of interest" things. We've all pretended to be okay doing things for our boss or having done things done by our boss when we really weren't. It's probably worse when your billion-dollar CEO that's not used to taking "no" for an answer.
Vince is being charged with sex trafficking more to do with company grounds. Not with her. What this worker has a dispute on is Vince DIDN'T pay her the full 3million on the NDA contract Vince and this worker signed. From what i understand... eventually Vince only ended up paying 1million to her. And therefore this disputed started. Vince basically cheaped out. Which is crazy, because this happened right after he sold his company for billions. I will never understand that... even though he did a lot of illegal things on company ground.
When they get older and regret their actions they either say they were graped or trafficked lmao
So we're just gonna pretend billionaire bosses don't have power to destroy careers?
@Krusty_the_clown bro she could of quit and got a different job. mcmahon didn't force her to do anything. Wrestler quit wwf because of pat patterson was do the same thing that vince was doing with male wrestler
Growing up, my two buddies and I would gather at my place Monday and Thursday nights to watch Raw and SmackDown together. We grew up during years of the Ruthless Aggression Era and it was awesome times. Back in the day when you thought wrestlers were superhuman fighting machines with ultimate strength/powers. Just wanted to share my experience as a pro wrestling fan 🤘
It took 2 years for her to say something. No one forced her to sign the agreement. If she was uncomfortable with it, she could fo quit and sued the WWE and Vince right away or even when he gave her the paper to sign. Instead, she went for the 3 million agreement, and when she didn't get the other half, she was now a victim. Imagine that. 😮
I mean if someone tells you they’re going to pay you and they don’t as well as have a history of not paying people yeah don’t be surprised when eventually someone sues
@Brandon-mh3pv possibly I wasn’t in the room but if you sign an NDA promise to get paid a certain amount. To then not get paid what would you do. I would spill the beans and try to get my money back and plus he’s still a rich weirdo
Man you made and approved this one!! Paul Heyman was off camera from him, you can hear him in episode 5
Sounds like a stupid profiteering tool to me. Not a victim of STing. I guess she couldnt leave her job huh.
Her PTSD was triggered as soon as the checks stop coming in.
Why do they insist on using that image of grant when she's way older than the photo implies. Not to mention she had years to leave, but decided to stay.
It seriously seems like it's the only picture of her in existence on the Internet.
He’s a scumbag but let’s stop pretending these women were physically forced into a relationship with him. They were willing participants as long as the money was flowing.
Deceptive: When something tells the truth but the subject doesn't like being exposed.
This is a must watch because it shows you the real mind of Vince Mcmahon.
He ended Owen Harts life and possibly even more.
Put him in prison with a bunch of diddlers
Why hasn't this woman released her texts? What is she hiding? It's unfair of her to release Vince's text messages, without releasing her own to give better context than the situation. If anything, Vince has been very respectful in the face of these accusations. When many people wouldn't have been. I'm finding it harder and harder to believe this woman by the day.
Wwe: I thought we were cool Netflix we even got our deal to stream coming up.
Netflix: yeah I know but this is something we gotta talk about so let’s talk about it by releasing this documentary.
Vince McMahon getting upset at Netfilx over the film, is like watching a CROOKED POLITICIAN lecturing people about morality.
My older brother was obsessed with McMahon
Dissapointing to see this
This doc isn't for wrestling fans, it's for people who have no idea about WWE and the McMahon character and business man. What gets put on blast here is the distinct distortion between Vince, and Mr McMahon and when and how one became the other, which is not hard for anyone to really figure out if they study the man. At one point or another, Vince became Mr McMahon for real, i'm not surprised in the slightest in these allegations, it's definitely fitting the McMahon persona, but it's a sad tale of how portraying a character can bleed into personal life.
Mr. Sexual Assault A.K.A Vince McMahon.
That McMahon walk down to the ring is so classic, 😂lmao 😂
Music Entrance classic.
Vince "triple h " Levesque is gonna be crazy, can't believe nick Allison (the general manager) played him and boreman reigns and Vince McMahon dirty like this
In the docuseries, they literally play out vince mchmahon's interview bits without any background music and he just dogs his own grave. The bit where he talked about a storyline that he pitched at wwe, about " how Stephanie was gonna have a baby and the story would suggest that it was his and then it would go on off of that bit". That bit was extremely creepy and weird and kinda depicted his mental state itself. Netflix didn't do anything, they just asked the right questions.
Inside Edition has lately been biased towards negative and trivial news. 🤦🏻
Is Janel lying 🤥
Deceptive is something he would certainly know.
He couldn’t admit any more clearer without any words with how he tried to hide it
Vince looked fine for his age. Whatever he did to his face has aged him beyond his years. Now he looks extremely bloated. Very strange 🤨
He could sue for defamation
There is literally text messages between him and the victim
Good luck with that. There was a reason WWE was sold and Vince had to step away from the business that he loved more than anything else.

The most interesting part was when Shane left in 2008 and his relationship with Shane. Other than that, it’s nothing you haven’t heard before.
When it comes to Vince McMahon, it's only No Chance In Hell...
Sad part is people still defend this guy. Shows the lack of a moral compass a lot of these “fans” have.

I love the WWE best childhood memories. I haven’t seen my father in over 10 years but whenever I come back to anything regarding the WWE memories of me watching smackdown vs raw or ecw with him come to mind .

Just imagine, The Fiend, a demonic spawn from hell, even acknowledged Vince as Satan...
McMahon is a bonkers human being. It’s incredible what he was able to do with his empire. But his own personal life was just as much a carnival as the one he put on for the world.
Even during working hours?......i mean if youre going to force a 3some.....at least do it outside company time 😂😂😂😂

Education Dept. nominee Linda McMahon is Vince’s wife. Two peas in a pod.
I watched all 6 episodes yesterday. The only thing I got from it was that it was basically another WWE documentary about where it all began and that Vince McMahon doesn’t take any responsibility for any bad things that happened on his watch.
He sounds just like Donald Trump:
“I alone can fix it” and “nothing is my fault”.
This doesn’t surprise or shock me at all that he would feel this way
How on earth Ric Flair hasn't been ME TOO'D yet is beyond me.
I feel like they didn't do enough... For the casual viewer it's shocking. But as a wrestling fan, We've known this for decades.
I quit.... easy sentence... no need to sell your body for money.
Crazy cus Brock lesnar was “involved” I feel like he wasn’t but his name was thrown around in it sucks bc he was actually a talented wrestler only thing I looked at & that match with Roman at summer slam was insane as hell!
Man tried to buy the show just like WCW?😂
Netflix just paid $5 billion for wwe content, not sure why they would try to discredit the brand
Now it's the editors fault he won't be accountable and admit to the things that he has done to people over the years. How he has used , taken advantage and stepped on people just to get what he wanted. How selfish he had been to people and greedy he was.
He’s going to make them kiss his ass
Since Vince is going to lie, whine and complain in the documentary more than Meghan Markle and Prince Harry both did in THEIR documentary 2 years ago, then I'm sure that, at the end of the day, Vince will get into book-writing and call his first ever memoir "WAAAAH".

But I noticed that’s the only picture of Janel Grant? Why is there no other pictures? I’m just curious. Not defending the guy. But she hasn’t even showed her face not one time. At least with Cassie. She did. 1:28. Ashley and Cassie went through worse. If Ashley was alive her story would be more investigated than Janel. Again I’m not saying Janel is not deserving of sympathy but it’s like she hasn’t showed her face one time.
