  • An intimate glimpse to a collection of Australian Wild flowers of the Sydney region that has existed and evolved for thousands of years. This unique Biodiversity has been drastically impacted from land clearing for burial grounds since Rookwood cemetery establishment in1864.
Conservation work has been undertaken for some 20 years to protect remaining remnant bushland rich of diversity with Indigenous species that equaled to no more then 5% of bushland remaining since the opening in 1864. Since then, remaining bushland has been under constant pressure by further land clearing for burial. Must we keep destroying our heritage and beuty trusted on to us to look after and preserve?

Thanks for sharing this video. What type of birds did you see there, namely the small ones? and which bushes/shrubs/grasses did they usually hang around in?
