I have been watching people free-diving and in mind I tell myself- I “think” I can do that. But wow, how great to get proper training. Of course, with all the safety measures in place. Very interesting! So serene. 👊🏼
I don’t think you can do it, I know you can do it! 😊 Our minds and bodies are capable of incredible things! But yes definitely worth learning how to do it safely! Thanks for watching!
how awesome! diving is something I wish more Filipinos would do since how many others would love to have easy (easier) access to our waters? and i'm sure exposure would make people value our oceans more. it does involve too much cost for most, even for me.
How cool was that? You rock. I have tried it in the Bahamas. I found that having a healthy relationship with the water is very important. The water is your friend not your enemy. Relaxing while staying focused on what you have been taught. I found that it helped me a great deal. Great work with the video and music selection, Rachelle. Sending you so much Love and Affection❤❤❤ from Richmond, Va. Jim, Harriet and Yuki
Wow the Bahamas sounds like a great place to freedive! How was it? And absolutely agree with the other things you mention here! The ocean is a magical place, glad I can experience more of it now through freediving! 😊 Thanks again for watching! 🥳
You look like such a natural underwater! So graceful! Well done for encouraging yourself to learn this impressive skill. How magical that you encountered turtles too! Do you find it easy to equalise? I would love to free dive but whenever I go too deep, my ears are agony. But it may just be that I don’t know how to equalise properly. Also high five fellow ADHDer!
Haha thank you! I have always looooved being in the water so this felt so good. 😁✨ And so the equalising is very easy for me… you have different ways of equalising and for freediving you need to do frenzel equalisation. This is one I have always done naturally like when flying on planes etc so I had no issues. I have trained with two girls who did the belly equalising which is common in scuba diving but that wont work going face down with freediving. But trick with frenzel is to do it before you go down and then continue to do it every meter, so the pressure doesn’t build up because then it gets harder and your eara can really hurt. And yeeey another ADHDer haha 😜
You would be surprised how “easy” it is when you put your body into full relax mode. Before going down you take a couple minutes to actually relax your body and breathe as if you are going to sleep, so your body and mind are calm and using less oxygen, then you take deep breathe and go down. Body is relaxed, air is enough, and there you go 😊
Hey! 😁 Haha yeah had some delay by posting other videos first. Cool that you watched! I have really fallen in love with it and did some training in Siquijor with Wil as well! Thanks again for watching!
Thanks for the concern! 🙏🏼been keeping an eye on the updates. There are still some videos to be released from the Philippines but I just arrived in Taiwan… so also keeping an eye out for what will happen as there is also a big chance the typhoon will hit here… stay stafe!!! And thanks for checking in on me!
@ 4:33 🐢 sighting ..... hearrd there's these ppl/tribes there in the southern seas of the islands 🏝 who can freedive and stay undwr water for a very long time since they grew up diving through those waterz, basically they're the real "aqua men," might wanna [*google it] check 'em out ..... 🌊🏊🦈
Try the Badjao Breathing technique . It's different from Commercialized Freediving breathing. I learned freediving in 1979 in Cebu Island. Good luck and dive safe.

So, Rachelle discovery is different from AIDA1 certification? how much did you pay for it? Did you get the ID/Card already? thanks
wow that's difficult for me, can't do that for more than 20 seconds. 😢
