Infants are ridiculously easier as a spell caster. The needs potion is one of the early potions spellcasters learn and they only require an apple to make 4. Using this, you can basically ignore the parent's needs and focus on the infant as much as you want without cheats.
Honestly, it goes without saying that RoM spellcasting just feels like cheats legalized in one pack. I get that magic should power you. Definitely a fave among your more recent builds! The semi-rural vibe with the warm brick and wood are delightful, keeping the spirit of the original build while improving it in every way :) A shame EA dropped the ball on this neighbourhood, but it's been really cool seeing you make the most of it.
I have a spellcaster and her husband currently living here with their 2 infants. I wanted them to live in Glimmerbrook and this was really the only option. I added on the infant room and a conservatory plus an outdoor space. I feel like EA could have done so much more with this world. Update: three infants and a toddler now. I had them try for a baby and ended up with twins. Regrets.
I'm thinking the concept they were going for was "traditional Sims starter home" - simple layout, sparse furnishings to give basic room use hints, little to no landscaping, cheap (and gets cheaper when I inevitably buy it unfurnished). Perfect for moving in a new family and furnishing & decorating it *for them*. This one, though, IS probably slightly too large by default...
I’m sorry but it made me so mad when she kept the door to the outside patio in the main bedroom, now you’re gonna have to go through the bedroom every single time to get outside!😭
