Okay comparing Revamp a fan made dlc with both no restrictions on time and limits on what characters they can use plus, like you said 3 YEARS of development time solely for it. Not defending the choices made for the future saga but that’s kind of an unfair comparison.
I guess it's unfair, but it kinda goes to show how lazy this game's handling has been when a group of dedicated creators has been fixing so many problems this game COULD have been slowly fixing over time. Again, I guess it can be seen as an unfair criticism, but it can also be seen as something to show people when it comes to just how good Xenoverse 2 can be when people who actually care are making content for it, official or not.

When you leave Xenoverse, you can tell you’re just that mad cousin who stormed out of the Christmas dinner , looking back inside the window and watching the rest of the family continue to enjoy themselves…. Sparking is nice . Modded Pc Xv looks cool… but your LARGE family is STILL inside , feasting , rivaling, debating, clowning, and enjoying Xenoverse …. Eventually you force yourself to disappear from their existence, or you end up knocking on the door, where modders and tryhards and pve and crossversus , and Goku open the door and welcome you back, Goku style “Hey wanna fight?”
I feel like the main issue of the video is that we don't even know what future saga 3 will be about. Renember, many times we got bad dlc's and we did't start yaping/proclame that the next dlc was going to be just as bad with nothing go base on that is't a past experience. Past experiences don't determine the future, they just give a posibility of what it coud be(a posibility that is't Even confirm).You are free to speculate on chapter 3, but you are shiting on some thing we don't know much about. Don’t get me wrong this dlc was bad at best but I do feel like the budget and time Dimps is allowed to spend on xenoverse 2 has been heavily restricted for a year or two now This could be for a number of reasons 1.they don’t make enough money for there dlcs and updates so upper management is limiting there growth 2.dimps are working on something else and don’t have the time to work on xenoverse 3.dimps are getting lazy

While Future Saga 2 was disappointing, Future Saga 1's characters were genuinely good. We're still talking a decent campaign expansion, a few fun quests, and like 6 new skills. This is for half the price people will drop on a Fortnite skin, and will go on sale in the near future for the price of Oblivion horse armor.

Like at all. The base story felt so incredibly rushed even thought the last game took its time with its story, The expression on these characters are so ugly (Seriously, Look at when Goku charges energy or you're CAC does that stupid ugly smile at the beginning of every fight), the online connection is still buggy as all heck *TO THIS DAY* since it was first released. And people keep saying "Dude their spread thin and barely have a budget. Cut them some slack." No! I would have if this was say the first month of Xenoverse, but this game has been out for almost a decade and they're still making the same mistakes over and over and over again. I'm sorry for what you're going through dude and I hope you have a better experience in the future.
Thank goodness this is the last one. You've been saying the exact same things about FS2 for 5 videos in a row and it's the same points everyone realized by vid 2, you have to move on man, we get it. Also, I don't think you're giving online XV2 enough credit. There's a reason this game is still supported, and it's not offline, singleplayer-only players like you and me. Implying that the game's (albeit massive) PC modding community somehow trumps the rest of the playerbase is honestly just wishful thinking. As a little example, ask yourself why your cousin had XV2 on their PS5 instead of on the supposedly true and best console, the PC? Some of this your points feel like you really need to step out of the modding echo chamber. These DLC's aren't made specifically for you, and you aren't the crowd they're specifically targeting. I think that while yes it is pretty lazy that USV Jiren has only 2 anims to his name, focusing on that aspect of him shows just how much you're zeroing in on this very specific aspect of the DLC instead of seeing the bigger picture for their choices. USV Jiren wouldn't be appealing to people because "holy shit new attack anims", he'd be appealing to peoole because "holy shit evil Jiren he's so strong!", that sort of thing. This might be a very simplified, surface level and ultimately wrong perspective, but this is what Dimps is working with and how they get their character choices. Don't take it as me defending FS2, this is moreso a criticism on your limited perspective and how it colors your arguments so much to the point that it feels like you seriously believe people would play this game for the mods rather than for the game itself. I'm of the opinion that it's always important to realize your own position and particular perspective on a subject while considering other points of view. I stopped playing X2 about a year ago. Its not engaging anymore, for me. As i get older, i dont have the time to sit and grind for hour's for a tapion costume, or super souls or 300 illustrations, that shouldnt all be locked behind online play. Im still legitimately surprised after all these years, there was no update to the base game adding new hairs, and facial features, its been the same since it released. No moving tail, no hair that spikes when you transform. Constantly giving already transformed characters because they seem to hate making transforming characters for some reason? Personally, its a cycle that I got bored of some time ago. Get people hyped for a few new characters with a couple of new moves, a decent story, and a random awoken skill. It would take a couple of hours and then id have it all and be done, and get bored waiting for the cycle to start again for vjump scans for the next DLC by doing raids and random pvps. And then it gets less impressive each time i feel like. Maybe not always i guess, it fluxuates. And it feel so tedious now. I long ago gave up on raid events for anything. Its so boring to get paired with 5 other people and all we can do is spam ultimates until the boss dies cause super armour. Im on the fence as to whether I'll spend anymore money on this game. But i do sincerely hope FS3 is a much better DLC and actually worth buying for some people. Course i say that and people liked and bought FS2 so 🤷♂️ and if you did, im glad.
I'm at the belief they put so much money into Sparking Zero, Bandai and Dimps hardly care about the other games that came out before it. Althought this dlc pack was dissapointing, the last one was not that bad personally and gave a large amount of content that we havent had before which gave a good introduction to the Future Saga. I'm still gonna buy Chapter 3 if it at least is advertised well and/or looks good, I only bought Chapter 2 to see if it was truly that bad and it was pretty bad with the new content, and the ending was just... wtf? Our cacs werent even in the ending which felt like a huge waste of time despite the build up in the beginning. One more thing, dude, we get it, you've been basically saying the same thing for about 2 to 3 weeks straight. You make some good points, but it feels like you are just nitpicking almost every little thing from the Future Saga as a whole.
Im getting the new dlc no opinion matter to me, even if FSCH 2 was ass, we all still bought that 9 dollar disappointment, and were gonna do it again. Sparking is good, yes, but it has nothing to compare to XV2, they are their own separate games, yes xv2 shouldve died years ago and made xv3 with all the money they made from it, and they shouldve just listened to fans, thats why fans got sparking zero, cause they listened to fans wanting a 4th Tenkaichi game. As a dragon ball fan, i will buy all dlcs that comes, not to support the game, to support Toriyama-sensei for making such an amazing series. The new producer for xv2 needs to try harder if he wants xv2 to die off already and make xv3 as they have been working on xv2 and 3 at the same time, guaranteed fixing things in xv3 adding and nitpicking things they didnt like in xv2 or improving xv3's mechanics and performance.

A few things I wanna say about this: 1. It's absolutely laughable that this fandom will be buried 6 feet under before admitting this game is as trash as it is. They literally act like if you insult this game it's an insult against Akira or some shit. This game stopped being relevant about 5 years ago now. The only thing that has kept this game alive is mods. I remember each time I pointed that out people would try to "jump" me though I'd always point out how literally nobody outside of the DB community ever talks about Xenoverse 2. The only time that had happened was back in 2017 when everyone was in the honeymoon phase. And yet the moment 2018 came along radio silence to this very fucking day. And my point was further proven when the Xenoverse 2 Revamp mod dropped. NOBODY was talking about Xenoverse 2 until that mod had dropped which gave undeniable proof that this piece of trash game is on life support because of mods. Their "1,000,000" player celebration was nothing more than a mask to hide the rot and decay this game has suffered through throughout the years. It's crazy to me how DB fans have no sense of quality control or even fucking standards. All they want is more Dragon Ball. They don't care how shit the product is. Which is precisely why DB games like Xenoverse 2 has so little effort put into them. Or why DB games (or DB shows/games in general) don't get advertised well. Namco knows these morons are gonna show up regardless and spend money. Why waste money advertising when you have brainless drones that'll buy your shit all day every day regardless of advertisements? It disgusts me because I remember the Budokai/Budokai Tenkaichi era where quality control and passion was put into DB games. Now all we have left that's actually a fairly good DB game is Sparking Zero. Everything else sucks. 2. What Namco does isn't "capitalism" it's crony state corporatism. There's a MAJOR difference between the two and it's important not to get those things mixed up. Capitalism is just understanding a market's demand and providing the supply to capitalize on profits. Crony state corporatism is what Namco is currently steeped in. Overcharging DLC with minimal amounts of content for a price it's clearly not worth the price of admission for and doing the bare minimum to make the supply of the demand to the market as low cost as possible. 3. I'm excited to see how Xenoverse 3 is gonna look. Because if this game is anything like Xenoverse 2 it's gonna be a laugh riot seeing how everything plays out. It's Namco, they'll do the bare minimum and keep most of the features of Xeno 1/2 in order to cut cost and not really change much. I've seen so many wish lists for Xenoverse 3 with different time nests for good/evil time patrollers, adding Heroes/Fusions races into the game, etc. but none of this shit is gonna happen. That would require actual effort and cost money on Namco's part. People are just wasting their time.

The game itself has gotten me into writing, and because of that game, I have characters I enjoy making, and writing backgrounds for them on my spare time. Playing this game made me make new friends, and I’m glad I met you when I did, Coffee, I’m glad we got people like you in the community.
We get it, you don’t like the dlc, but to compare the work of Dimps to revamp when revamp could do whatever they wanted with the significant amount of time they spent working while Dimps were severely limited on what they could do, it’s not fair at all. You need to cut them at least a little slack

Previous DLC's have shown us the potential of this game, and then dropped it in favor of copypasta and no-direction flops. You know what else did that? Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. It's a great canvas for modding, but everything - EVERYTHING they have made short of some specific characters, has been half-baked and half-assed. Give us an inch, and mods give us miles. Sure without the game we wouldn't have the mods, but without the mods, the game wouldn't be worth shaking half a stick at sideways, especially given that it falls into the same old Dragon Ball game sin of obsession with canon power levels. It can't even be competitive, and half-assed. It's just half-assed.
This game deserves more love then what they give it the only thing that makes this game good is the awaken skills and it’s bad because we could have so much more
Highly unlikely there'll ever be a xv3 simply bc with how much dlc they've released for 2 it's a expectation that if a sequel came out it'd have to contain everything from the dlc in base game. That means either they make the game, have everything added already and have no dlc to sell people (which means no money coming in) or they make just xv2 but with a tiny bit more "free" story and then proceed to charge the same or more money for the exact same dlcs they did with 2. They've sunk too much into 2 atp and with how many Fan expectations there are even now there's very little chance they'd even add anything new
My guy, Revamp had 3 years of development with absolutely no restrictions and no limitations to the choices we wanted to make. DIMPs has approximately 6 months only to work on the DLC, with whatever orders they're given, with most of their staff working on 3 other games as well. You cannot compare a mod's development to the work of official employees. We get it, you don't like a DLC pack.

I mean, when it comes to Dimps working on other games. They were actively working on the first build of Legends and numerous things for the Heroes arcades when DLC 6 came out for XV2. I wouldn't exactly say it's a stretch to say the current team with XV2 could be doing better, even with the other games in consideration. It's not all one group of people handling all the Dimps games. They all have different producers and teams.
Just like you, I have been playing Xenoverse since the first game came out, too. When future saga chapter 1 came out, I was long done with this game. Future saga chapter 1 was proof already where the game was heading when it came to content with how much it costs. The first DLC pack to every cost of 20 dollars made me quit Xenoverse. For me, though, it's not going to take a DLC to convince me to come back to the game. Way more than that. Unless they come out with Xenoverse 3 or a game that plays better than Xenoverse with character customization, then I am done with this part of the series.
I think this guy has been playing Xenoverse 2 for way too long. The game came out in 2016.. maybe he’s burnt out on Xenoverse 2. The fact that they’re still making content for this game 8 years later is awesome. I know it just came to ps5 and Xbox series s. As much as i love Revamp, i do not want to wait 3 years to get something from developers, we know that developers environment of making DLC is much different than mods, to compare them directly like that would be arguing in bad faith. And even if I did follow what you said to, all of my points would not be null or rendered useless as I provided counterpoints to different parts of the video aside from the Revamp comparison, I don't feel like you holistically read all of my comment.

Imagine this, Suicide Squad Kills the Justice Leage was a complete dumpster fire and now (hypothetical scenario) after like 2 or more years, a sequel is announced, no gameplay or anything, just an announcement, anyone and their grandma would be sceptic as fuck, because its predecessor was a shitty game. (Again, that is a hypothetical scenario, because WB and Rocksteady will stop support for this game and in no way its getting a sequel).
I’ll update the game whenever the patcher and revamp mod get updated, but I will not buy the future DLC. Future saga chapter 1 was enough, but I ain’t touching Future saga chapter 2, 3 & 4.

Something I find odd is how the packs (legendary, super, extra and ultra packs) aren't bundles, they are the same dlcs again in 1 purchase and barely any sale. The fact people want the original director to go back to the better dlcs instead of Fut saga dlcs says something Anyway shin looks really cute on your mod :3
As much as I hate the Future Saga rn, this DLC probably wouldn't be as egregious if the game addressed any of the requests or problems that this game has. Jumping from heavily-modded XV to vanilla XV shouldn't suck so much ass after 8 years. Console players shouldn't have to buy the game again on PC for their game to be good after 8 years, either. The bad DLC is just icing on the cake

The bar has been in hell for a while now. I stopped paying for DLCs when I saw the 4th character for a super pack I bought was BASE FORM GOGETA. I was so infuriated and felt so robbed that a character we should've gotten to begin with all of his forms was sold separately at another $10 price tag. Fuckin ripoff. Then I watched the shit show further commence when UI Sign dropped, and people continued to pay for 2 DBS Piccolos, 2 DBS Gohans, Base form Broly, and a version of 18 and Videl that could've easily been a free update and used as another preset for those characters. Mind you, Videl has not fought anyone since Spopovich but here she is taking up a character slot. I'm glad I turned away when I did.

@marshalllee6376 I do not care about those things. What I care about is the faithfulness to the source material and how it objectively brings the DB lore to life. This game should've came with everyone who was on the BT3 roster, or at least most of them, but they didn't. We paid for Z AND Super characters. Half of these characters have Full Power Energy Wave slapped on as an ultimate. And for some characters, they are missing transformations. Their transformations and their base forms are being sold to us, and that is absolute robbery. They sold us TWO versions of Super Gogeta. One stuck as a SSB, and one with a base form turning SSJ. The latter is what we should have gotten, TO BEGIN WITH. There goes Jiren separated from his final form as well. All of this being done is absolutely wrong in the name of greed.
My guy Sparking Zero was hot garbage when it dropped now. They finally just released the day 1 version. They didn't give us a public beta because they knew they where going to drop an incomplete game. Everything else you said was like 95% right tho
I haven’t bought a DLC since the future saga part. If they make part 3 something spectacular and genuinely improve the game’s overall health, then I’ll be interested in xeno and I’ll pick it up again. But until then, I’m gonna spend my money on better games like Dead rising or Stellar blade.
People are finally starting to see the cracks in what was already a poorly handled game. What's crazy is that, just as you mentioned, the absence of mods was a big contributer for your vision of Xenoverse shifting-- maybe because it's all the game has going for it lmao. Honestly, if a XV3 was ever announced, anything less than revamp 5.0 would be way too little at this point-- and I usually keep my expactations low and realistic, but this time, I won't make such exceptions-- Sparking ZERO proved that DB Games CAN BE BETTER THAN THIS. I thought FIGHTERZ proved that as well. And until I see Dimps follow suit with their plans for the future of the Xenoverse/Breakers series, I'm afraid that I won't be consuming/playing/watching anything Xenoverse related, especially when there's so much better stuff that's all official and not carried by a dying community that should frankly be directing their efforts into a better place than a game held by duct tape directed by greedy idiots who lie about their playerbase numbers (a million worldwide players my ass)

i understand your concerns but.. dimps is stretched too thin not to mention on a corpo budget and have to deal with corpo masters vs revamp where you and other modders have free time to make updates to a completed game. i get you want xv2 to have all of what revamp got but they cant do that due to the fact they have strict deadlines, and have to program all of it yes the recent dlcs have been lack luster and yes they could have done all the future saga stuff as a massive bundle for $40 dollars. but at the end of the day you'll have to expect them to get greedy due to them being a business.as well as the fact that they answer to bandai namco as well as toei/shueisha on matters of dragon ball games and are given certain time and budgets to do whatever in a dbz game. its why heroes/legends/divers are given leeway vs xenoverse/breakers which struggles to keep up.
The Only Three Things I Liked About This DLC Is the new Ultimates, The New Super The God Of Destruction's Poise (or I like to call the Beyblade Super) and the new story dlc.
I agree with EVERYTHING you’re saying! I was so pissed off with the resent DLC, especially since I can’t mod like everyone else! I don’t have a PC, and I don’t want to have any issues with my electronics! XV2 DLC 18 was hands down, the worst DLC ever. They put so little effort into it than they did in DLC 17. At least DLC 17 had 5 new characters, 9 story missions, 12 PQ’s and 16 new skills! But in DLC 18, we got 3 mediocre characters, 3 story missions, 4 PQ’s and 7 new skills! What a huge @$$ downgrade! Even if Dimps is saving good characters for XV3, that doesn’t mean they should give less effort into XV2’s DLCs just yet! If the FS if focused more on USV’s, then why give us just ONE USV character with only ONE new skill, while the last FS DLC gave us TWO USV’s with 3 new skills each?! If DLC 18 had as much content and DLC 17 did, we wouldn’t have any problems at the moment! How the heck is Dimps scrapped the bottom of the barrel for characters now?! They could’ve just given us, USV Jiren (Full Power), USV Toppo (G.O.D), Belmod, Bergamo and Base Toppo as the character roster with a total of 16-17 new skills for DLC 18! Now I would definitely pay $20.00 for that! At this point, Dimps really needs to put their freaking act together if they want people to continue playing XV2 and buying their DLCs! 😠😡🤬😤

I guess it's unfair, but it kinda goes to show how lazy this game's handling has been when a group of dedicated creators has been fixing so many problems this game COULD have been slowly fixing over time. I can't review all this and say in at the end of the day they are not trying and their updates aren't doing stuff. In general it doesn't feel correct to me. Especially since I know more updates are coming and according to Song they were all planned at the same time and are supposed to be considered together and are also being made to help the game continue for a long time while also moving onto a next future for the game.
To me that's just them following their original goal in various amounts. But overall at the end of the day a fair amount of content from The Big October Update to The End of FSCH4.

When you leave Xenoverse, you can tell you’re just that mad cousin who stormed out of the Christmas dinner , looking back inside the window and watching the rest of the family continue to enjoy themselves…. Sparking is nice . Modded Pc Xv looks cool… but your LARGE family is STILL inside , feasting , rivaling, debating, clowning, and enjoying Xenoverse …. Eventually you force yourself to disappear from their existence, or you end up knocking on the door, where modders and tryhards and pve and crossversus , and Goku open the door and welcome you back, Goku style “Hey wanna fight?”
I feel like the main issue of the video is that we don't even know what future saga 3 will be about. Renember, many times we got bad dlc's and we did't start yaping/proclame that the next dlc was going to be just as bad with nothing go base on that is't a past experience. Past experiences don't determine the future, they just give a posibility of what it coud be(a posibility that is't Even confirm).You are free to speculate on chapter 3, but you are shiting on some thing we don't know much about. 1.they don’t make enough money for there dlcs and updates so upper management is limiting there growth
2.dimps are working on something else and don’t have the time to work on xenoverse
3.dimps are getting lazy

While Future Saga 2 was disappointing, Future Saga 1's characters were genuinely good.
We're still talking a decent campaign expansion, a few fun quests, and like 6 new skills.
This is for half the price people will drop on a Fortnite skin, and will go on sale in the near future for the price of Oblivion horse armor.

Also I'm sorry man, but to me, Xenoverse 2 is not a good game. Like at all. The base story felt so incredibly rushed even thought the last game took its time with its story, The expression on these characters are so ugly (Seriously, Look at when Goku charges energy or you're CAC does that stupid ugly smile at the beginning of every fight), the online connection is still buggy as all heck *TO THIS DAY* since it was first released.
And people keep saying "Dude their spread thin and barely have a budget. Cut them some slack." No! I would have if this was say the first month of Xenoverse, but this game has been out for almost a decade and they're still making the same mistakes over and over and over again.

Also, I don't think you're giving online XV2 enough credit. There's a reason this game is still supported, and it's not offline, singleplayer-only players like you and me. Implying that the game's (albeit massive) PC modding community somehow trumps the rest of the playerbase is honestly just wishful thinking. As a little example, ask yourself why your cousin had XV2 on their PS5 instead of on the supposedly true and best console, the PC? Some of this your points feel like you really need to step out of the modding echo chamber. These DLC's aren't made specifically for you, and you aren't the crowd they're specifically targeting. I think that while yes it is pretty lazy that USV Jiren has only 2 anims to his name, focusing on that aspect of him shows just how much you're zeroing in on this very specific aspect of the DLC instead of seeing the bigger picture for their choices. USV Jiren wouldn't be appealing to people because "holy shit new attack anims", he'd be appealing to peoole because "holy shit evil Jiren he's so strong!", that sort of thing. This might be a very simplified, surface level and ultimately wrong perspective, but this is what Dimps is working with and how they get their character choices. Don't take it as me defending FS2, this is moreso a criticism on your limited perspective and how it colors your arguments so much to the point that it feels like you seriously believe people would play this game for the mods rather than for the game itself. I'm of the opinion that it's always important to realize your own position and particular perspective on a subject while considering other points of view.

I stopped playing X2 about a year ago. Its not engaging anymore, for me. As i get older, i dont have the time to sit and grind for hour's for a tapion costume, or super souls or 300 illustrations, that shouldnt all be locked behind online play. Im still legitimately surprised after all these years, there was no update to the base game adding new hairs, and facial features, its been the same since it released. No moving tail, no hair that spikes when you transform. Constantly giving already transformed characters because they seem to hate making transforming characters for some reason? Personally, its a cycle that I got bored of some time ago. Get people hyped for a few new characters with a couple of new moves, a decent story, and a random awoken skill. It would take a couple of hours and then id have it all and be done, and get bored waiting for the cycle to start again for vjump scans for the next DLC by doing raids and random pvps. And then it gets less impressive each time i feel like. Maybe not always i guess, it fluxuates. And it feel so tedious now. I long ago gave up on raid events for anything. Its so boring to get paired with 5 other people and all we can do is spam ultimates until the boss dies cause super armour. Im on the fence as to whether I'll spend anymore money on this game. But i do sincerely hope FS3 is a much better DLC and actually worth buying for some people. Course i say that and people liked and bought FS2 so 🤷♂️ and if you did, im glad.

I'm at the belief they put so much money into Sparking Zero, Bandai and Dimps hardly care about the other games that came out before it.
Althought this dlc pack was dissapointing, the last one was not that bad personally and gave a large amount of content that we havent had before which gave a good introduction to the Future Saga. I'm still gonna buy Chapter 3 if it at least is advertised well and/or looks good, I only bought Chapter 2 to see if it was truly that bad and it was pretty bad with the new content, and the ending was just... wtf? Our cacs werent even in the ending which felt like a huge waste of time despite the build up in the beginning.
One more thing, dude, we get it, you've been basically saying the same thing for about 2 to 3 weeks straight. You make some good points, but it feels like you are just nitpicking almost every little thing from the Future Saga as a whole.
Im getting the new dlc no opinion matter to me, even if FSCH 2 was ass, we all still bought that 9 dollar disappointment, and were gonna do it again. A few things I wanna say about this:
1. It's absolutely laughable that this fandom will be buried 6 feet under before admitting this game is as trash as it is. They literally act like if you insult this game it's an insult against Akira or some shit. This game stopped being relevant about 5 years ago now. The only thing that has kept this game alive is mods. I remember each time I pointed that out people would try to "jump" me though I'd always point out how literally nobody outside of the DB community ever talks about Xenoverse 2. The only time that had happened was back in 2017 when everyone was in the honeymoon phase. And yet the moment 2018 came along radio silence to this very fucking day. And my point was further proven when the Xenoverse 2 Revamp mod dropped. NOBODY was talking about Xenoverse 2 until that mod had dropped which gave undeniable proof that this piece of trash game is on life support because of mods. Their "1,000,000" player celebration was nothing more than a mask to hide the rot and decay this game has suffered through throughout the years. It's crazy to me how DB fans have no sense of quality control or even fucking standards. All they want is more Dragon Ball. They don't care how shit the product is. Which is precisely why DB games like Xenoverse 2 has so little effort put into them. Or why DB games (or DB shows/games in general) don't get advertised well. Namco knows these morons are gonna show up regardless and spend money. Why waste money advertising when you have brainless drones that'll buy your shit all day every day regardless of advertisements? It disgusts me because I remember the Budokai/Budokai Tenkaichi era where quality control and passion was put into DB games. Now all we have left that's actually a fairly good DB game is Sparking Zero. Everything else sucks.
2. What Namco does isn't "capitalism" it's crony state corporatism. There's a MAJOR difference between the two and it's important not to get those things mixed up. 3. I'm excited to see how Xenoverse 3 is gonna look. Because if this game is anything like Xenoverse 2 it's gonna be a laugh riot seeing how everything plays out. It's Namco, they'll do the bare minimum and keep most of the features of Xeno 1/2 in order to cut cost and not really change much. I've seen so many wish lists for Xenoverse 3 with different time nests for good/evil time patrollers, adding Heroes/Fusions races into the game, etc. but none of this shit is gonna happen. That would require actual effort and cost money on Namco's part. People are just wasting their time.

The game itself has gotten me into writing, and because of that game, I have characters I enjoy making, and writing backgrounds for them on my spare time. Playing this game made me make new friends, and I’m glad I met you when I did, Coffee, I’m glad we got people like you in the community.

You know what else did that? Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. It's a great canvas for modding, but everything - EVERYTHING they have made short of some specific characters, has been half-baked and half-assed.
Give us an inch, and mods give us miles. Sure without the game we wouldn't have the mods, but without the mods, the game wouldn't be worth shaking half a stick at sideways, especially given that it falls into the same old Dragon Ball game sin of obsession with canon power levels.

Im hoping the Future Saga is the last XV2 DLC and they then move onto a potential XV3 its long passed time they put XV2 to bed.
Highly unlikely there'll ever be a xv3 simply bc with how much dlc they've released for 2 it's a expectation that if a sequel came out it'd have to contain everything from the dlc in base game.
That means either they make the game, have everything added already and have no dlc to sell people (which means no money coming in) or they make just xv2 but with a tiny bit more "free" story and then proceed to charge the same or more money for the exact same dlcs they did with 2. They've sunk too much into 2 atp and with how many Fan expectations there are even now there's very little chance they'd even add anything new

My guy, Revamp had 3 years of development with absolutely no restrictions and no limitations to the choices we wanted to make. DIMPs has approximately 6 months only to work on the DLC, with whatever orders they're given, with most of their staff working on 3 other games as well. You cannot compare a mod's development to the work of official employees. We get it, you don't like a DLC pack.
But you can compare it to what they gave us in 2 months. Which was way more than these dlc packs.

I mean, when it comes to Dimps working on other games. They were actively working on the first build of Legends and numerous things for the Heroes arcades when DLC 6 came out for XV2. I wouldn't exactly say it's a stretch to say the current team with XV2 could be doing better, even with the other games in consideration. It's not all one group of people handling all the Dimps games. They all have different producers and teams.

Just like you, I have been playing Xenoverse since the first game came out, too. When future saga chapter 1 came out, I was long done with this game. Future saga chapter 1 was proof already where the game was heading when it came to content with how much it costs. The first DLC pack to every cost of 20 dollars made me quit Xenoverse. For me, though, it's not going to take a DLC to convince me to come back to the game. Way more than that. Unless they come out with Xenoverse 3 or a game that plays better than Xenoverse with character customization, then I am done with this part of the series.
I think this guy has been playing Xenoverse 2 for way too long. The game came out in 2016.. maybe he’s burnt out on Xenoverse 2. The fact that they’re still making content for this game 8 years later is awesome. I know it just came to ps5 and Xbox series s. But still seven years of Xenoverse when there’s a million game out there seems like time wasted on one game imo.

I feel like your perspective took to much of a pendulum swing from "glazing" Xenoverse 2 to just straight up hating the game, a bad DLC pack does not justify 5 videos, as well as hours of live streams talking about it, at best it deserved only one video, and that's it. So as much as I do agree with your take that FS2 was bad, I'll point out some parts in the video that I either find hyperbolic or bad faith:
0:13: Not a criticism exactly, but I'm honestly surprised that you felt that way considering that I think that Xenoverse have had DLC that was of equal, if not worse quality DLC Wise compared to FS2 (Looking at you Legendary Pack 2).
1:12: Definitely a matter of opinion, but I do think that FS1 was pretty great as DLC itself, I don't think just one character was good on that pack alone.
1:33: I understand the complaint, but do remember that Xenoverse 2 is kind of a MMO Action RPG hybrid, I think it is pretty fair to have some content be online exclusive, If the game was something like a purely single player action game then I would agree, but given what Xenoverse 2 advertises itself as, I think it is more of a non issue.
1:40: Evidence? Who is there to say that most of the player base is offline, this is a baseless assertion, though there is a big modding community for Xenoverse 2, I do feel like there is likely a good amount of people who play the game online, especially considering that it is multi-platform.
2:10: I think that Xenoverse 2 had that short release gap since Dragon Ball Super was coming to a close by the time Extra Pack 2 was coming out, remember that Xenoverse 2 was closely putting characters in simultaneously with the anime airing, It is definitely possible that it took them more than 2 months alone to develop the DLC, you see that same consistency with the entirety of the Super Pack DLCs.

Things felt different for you because they were different, take for instance you listen to a discography of a music artist who have gotten better as time goes on, and you have only been listening to their debut album the whole time and decide to listen to more of their discography, of course now the debut album would seem worse in comparison to the others.

Hes frustrated cus of something he used to highly enjoy is something he now cant without revamp and I feel his pain and I'm not even a modder nor own my own PC to do mods like that I'm literally stuck as a console player atm till I can get my own pc and actually try revamp for the 1st time like I was decent with the game before but overtime just like him I started to be bored and just sick of having to wait not only for new content but when its mid or mediocre like theres barely anything to it it feels useless to even buy and play the DLC cus it's literally bad

The bar has been in hell for a while now. I stopped paying for DLCs when I saw the 4th character for a super pack I bought was BASE FORM GOGETA. I was so infuriated and felt so robbed that a character we should've gotten to begin with all of his forms was sold separately at another $10 price tag. Fuckin ripoff. Then I watched the shit show further commence when UI Sign dropped, and people continued to pay for 2 DBS Piccolos, 2 DBS Gohans, Base form Broly, and a version of 18 and Videl that could've easily been a free update and used as another preset for those characters. Mind you, Videl has not fought anyone since Spopovich but here she is taking up a character slot. I'm glad I turned away when I did.

@marshalllee6376 I do not care about those things. What I care about is the faithfulness to the source material and how it objectively brings the DB lore to life. This game should've came with everyone who was on the BT3 roster, or at least most of them, but they didn't. We paid for Z AND Super characters. Half of these characters have Full Power Energy Wave slapped on as an ultimate. And for some characters, they are missing transformations. Their transformations and their base forms are being sold to us, and that is absolute robbery. They sold us TWO versions of Super Gogeta. One stuck as a SSB, and one with a base form turning SSJ. The latter is what we should have gotten, TO BEGIN WITH. There goes Jiren separated from his final form as well. All of this being done is absolutely wrong in the name of greed.

I haven’t bought a DLC since the future saga part. If they make part 3 something spectacular and genuinely improve the game’s overall health, then I’ll be interested in xeno and I’ll pick it up again. But until then, I’m gonna spend my money on better games like Dead rising or Stellar blade.

People are finally starting to see the cracks in what was already a poorly handled game. What's crazy is that, just as you mentioned, the absence of mods was a big contributer for your vision of Xenoverse shifting-- maybe because it's all the game has going for it lmao. Honestly, if a XV3 was ever announced, anything less than revamp 5.0 would be way too little at this point-- and I usually keep my expactations low and realistic, but this time, I won't make such exceptions-- Sparking ZERO proved that DB Games CAN BE BETTER THAN THIS. I thought FIGHTERZ proved that as well. And until I see Dimps follow suit with their plans for the future of the Xenoverse/Breakers series, I'm afraid that I won't be consuming/playing/watching anything Xenoverse related, especially when there's so much better stuff that's all official and not carried by a dying community that should frankly be directing their efforts into a better place than a game held by duct tape directed by greedy idiots who lie about their playerbase numbers (a million worldwide players my ass)

i understand your concerns but.. dimps is stretched too thin not to mention on a corpo budget and have to deal with corpo masters vs revamp where you and other modders have free time to make updates to a completed game. i get you want xv2 to have all of what revamp got but they cant do that due to the fact they have strict deadlines, and have to program all of it yes the recent dlcs have been lack luster and yes they could have done all the future saga stuff as a massive bundle for $40 dollars. but at the end of the day you'll have to expect them to get greedy due to them being a business.as well as the fact that they answer to bandai namco as well as toei/shueisha on matters of dragon ball games and are given certain time and budgets to do whatever in a dbz game. its why heroes/legends/divers are given leeway vs xenoverse/breakers which struggles to keep up.

I agree with EVERYTHING you’re saying! I was so pissed off with the resent DLC, especially since I can’t mod like everyone else! I don’t have a PC, and I don’t want to have any issues with my electronics! XV2 DLC 18 was hands down, the worst DLC ever. They put so little effort into it than they did in DLC 17. At least DLC 17 had 5 new characters, 9 story missions, 12 PQ’s and 16 new skills! But in DLC 18, we got 3 mediocre characters, 3 story missions, 4 PQ’s and 7 new skills! What a huge @$$ downgrade! Even if Dimps is saving good characters for XV3, that doesn’t mean they should give less effort into XV2’s DLCs just yet! If the FS if focused more on USV’s, then why give us just ONE USV character with only ONE new skill, while the last FS DLC gave us TWO USV’s with 3 new skills each?! If DLC 18 had as much content and DLC 17 did, we wouldn’t have any problems at the moment! How the heck is Dimps scrapped the bottom of the barrel for characters now?! They could’ve just given us, USV Jiren (Full Power), USV Toppo (G.O.D), Belmod, Bergamo and Base Toppo as the character roster with a total of 16-17 new skills for DLC 18! Now I would definitely pay $20.00 for that! At this point, Dimps really needs to put their freaking act together if they want people to continue playing XV2 and buying their DLCs! 😠😡🤬😤
