Dawkins was never looked down upon by me. I know he can coach...he's always gotten the most out of the talent he had. Now in Big 12 better players are available and he will coach them up! Malzahn can recruit but the X's and O's we just don't see it. We need a spark all the momentum created by Frost and Heupel is gone at this point.
I also think that we sometimes forget the legacy that JD has throughout college basketball. He is a well known and respected name in the industry, which also helps lend credibility to UCF Basketball
