UCF basketball has a dominating win over TCU
The UCF Knights men's basketball team got a big bounce back win over the TCU Horned Frogs on Saturday. It started early as Keyshawn Hall opened on a personal 10-0 run, and the Knights never looked back en route to an 85-58 win. Coach Johnny Dawkins was proud of the effort he saw, but knows that there will be more challenges ahead for the Knights.

I disagree with Mike about the bills. The broncos were sort of lovable losers in the '80s then they won a couple in a row and then with all of their winning that they had done over the years but not necessarily super bowls they've always been considered one of the quality teams in the NFL I do not want to see Kansas City win a third one I hate Kermit the frog quarterback guy he just is so lucky and not really that talented.
Nobody likes the Chiefs? heh ok He's a TT alum. I know I'm supporting him. He's a humble athletic superstar and someone who is very likeable.
Sorry to hear about Pete. That corkboard challenge was a classic! Great show you guys as always! GKCO! Exciting times ahead for football, we can feel it!
Disappointed my tailgate didn't make the cut despite you stopping by. :(
Just want the energy back!
Adam is killing these one-on-one interviews. Great questions, great convo, incredibly great insight
Thanks!
@@SonsofUCFseriously dude. Asking tough questions about this past season in a way that’s still conversational… it really helped put a lot of the grim parts of Gus’s whole tenure into context. The last 45 minutes were needed closure
This is awesome⚔️⚡️
There’s a Qdoba near Disney Springs on the corner of 535 and Grand Cypress
You guys being surprised at Frost's ability to evaluate defense and specifically linebackers is confusing. You guys do know that Frost played defense in the NFL and he was a defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Northern Iowa.
UCF hanging onto the last four in spot. If they can go .500 in Big 12 play they can make it. Would love to see Johnny get it done. NIT is ok all things considered but we want a March Madness berth! Great show guys!
Dude is nothing but a drunk 🤣
Great interview, excellent person to get honest answers from. It seemed Frost came into the Neb job with a chip on his shoulder and I think it goes back to the '97 game oddly enough against USF. He didn't play well that game and the fans booed him. He's never forgotten that and never let it go. I think it always hindered him during his time as HC. Fans are worried about Raiola hitting the transfer portal. He wanted to come to Neb as his 1st choice and was going to verbally commit. Frost was supposed to attend the announcement party but blew it off b/c he was drunk. That left the Raiola's looking a bit silly since they told everyone at the party Frost would be there. So he waivered, then announced he was going to OSU, then to GA. When Frost was left go later that yr, it rekindled Raiola's interest in Neb. That debacle was clearly on Frost's shoulders. Hopefully he's gotten his drinking, chasing women, and golden tee issues cleaned up or he won't be effective at USF either.
Put that Jayhawk loss behind you and be hungry to knock off the Cougars!!!
They always say iron sharpening iron, so find a sound that mimics that or the sound of two swords clashing.
Got some family on the staff. Scott's already bringing back some of his old staff members. He's got a great deal of respect for those who worked underneath him. He's an unbelievably personable guy, it's sucks so much it didn't work in Nebraska, but he is an icon in the Orlando area for returning the program to greatness
Totally agree with your take on Dawkins. We are so lucky to have him!
Great show. Bell was obnoxious.
Hoopsters just need to survive the toughest conference schedule start (with national top 10 Houston and Iowa St. coming up plus the longest travel miles in NCAA history (after leading the nation in milage last year). The 2 added conference games and 4 schools added even farther west than all but BYU. Attendance rose last year among the most in basketball history after being stagnant for 17 years, never winning a single conference regular season FOR 35 years! And surprise, Dawkins slowly developed Mikey and he had his coming out party vs. Arizona (after Ivy-Curry choked for the 3rd time in 4 conference games! -- watch out for your starting job, Jordan). Lastly, sure the Kansas win was momentous, but UCF got far more national publicity from the "horns down" gesture after Knights took down Texas at their place! The impudence, akin to declaring a national championship in football a few years back. The press was trying to label Dawkins' program as LAST CHANCE U for adding players with run-ins with the law (in spite of Miami, FSU, and UF having a much worse historical record in criminality).
16:46 - I don't think Dallas is going to have to move up to get Shedeur, in all honesty.
So, looks like the bell wasn't a popular choice! We hear you loud and clear. It's been a process trying to find the perfect sounder after having to retire the boom. We'll go back to the drawing board.
Enjoy the show, fellas, but the bell has to go. Maybe 1-3 rings would be fine but as-is it’s distracting and obnoxious.
So one bell would have been fine?
@ definitely better. I could see a “CHARGE ON” or sword “shwing” (for lack of a better term lol) fit the theme well too fwiw ⚔️
@@adamrodriguez2258 Oh the "shwing" is a perfect idea. Do it!
Ok that bell is fkn obnoxious which is the last thing you need on your show with such low viewership
Thanks!
Enjoyed this! Thanks!
The bell is not good. Is this a boxing match? "Ohh helll yeaa" was perfect! GO KNIGHTS!
Albert’s didn’t hire frost. Bill Moose did, get your facts right. Go watch the frost hiring video, trev was in Omaha and didn’t get hired till 2021.
Dude had some of the best recruiting classes in the nation. That literally doesn’t track.
His fen center took over for Jason Kelsey. His qb won a national championship. He literally took a time that couldn’t move beat Kansas to being able to hang with Oklahoma. He was right there. But whatever Mitch be like all the other media people with your revisionist history.
Best 3-8 team in America. Rhule wouldn’t be here without frost.
Scott will always be guarded. After the Lawrence Taylor stuff happened I would be too. The state literally launch a smear campaign to say his personal life was interfering with his professional one. All because his offense requires a dual threat an and the number one recruit (temu Mahomes) couldn’t run. They opened up a full legal suit to get his employee records. Nebraska media hates frost. It evident from this interview, and I hope he win a national championship before Nebraska so he can shove it in their condescending elitist faces. F them for trying to launch an overthrow. I’m just happy he’s hit the rest button, and he can prove all those jerk (a-holes) that their slander and false accusations were completely unfounded or unnecessary. Also I’m extremely happy all the 90s Nebraska precious triple option is gone. Nebraska’s offense is basically Texas Tech now, and it’s all because of their hatred for a man who accomplished everything they wish they could in their childhood. Yes this is what the old heads of Nebraska have turned their program into. Thanks for ruining it for us cause you couldn’t actually prove that you could do what your parents did. Your parents greatest generation. You some wanna be middle children. Me I don’t care Nebraska hasn’t seen a 9 game win streak since the 09 era and that coach called yall out so. In the mean time I’ll route for Notre dame cause they piss yall off. Maybe then I can get my childhood franchise back.

Interviewer unintentionally misled Mikey into thinking a chip on your shoulder is a good thing.
I'm rooting for Mikey! 😊
This guy doesn't know CFB..Nebraska can't shine as bright as penn state??😂😂 Nebraska is a blue blood and penn state is not...Lost of credibility right there. GO Knights!
Haven’t you heard? We don’t need a punter anymore. We have Frost back. Using that scholarship for another DB instead.
Bowtie Ben was amazing!! 🎉🎉 That was the best basketball segment ever!!!
Meanwhile, UCF basketball performed yet another huge late comeback against quality opposition, but embarking upon the most grueling conference schedule ever in college sports history: thousands and thousands of miles of travel because all 4 new Big-12 additions are in the far-off Mountain States in a longer schedule. So NO WEEK off breaks at all. Instead, just 2 or 3 off days for two and a half months! Heck with going to classes or study time. Arizona on Saturday is a 13 to 1 favorite (and they aren't even ranked, unlike high-ranked Iowa St. and Houston coming up (20 to 1 favorites). INSANITY. Yet this is by far the best comeback team UCF has ever had and wills themselves to victory. Great to have students all back from break and FULL HOUSES each and every game like never before.
Frost is a joke... I never once heard the fraud blame himself for any of the shit show he brought to Lincoln.. GOOD RIDANCE!!
Trev Alberts didn't hire him
Let's not sugar coat it, his work ethic and effort and philandering and ethical lapses were his downfall. Not sure where he got his sense of entitlement but he did not put his nose down and also made some bad moves and getting rid of certain coaches in 2021. He got rid of the wrong people and kept the wrong people. Hard to wish that guy well after the damage he did and the salary he essentially stole, agreeing with Dr Rob.
Mitch! Bill Moos hired Scott not Trev Albert's.
Juice Ivy-Curry, take off the girly earrings.
Frost calling plays: We like many other teams have hired a new position as GM... which is what Gus did not have. But even if Gus did have a GM his offense would still be awful. Gus's downfall was not the current landscape of athletics, it was his stubborn old man grip on his 20th century high school offense.
Let’s face it, Scott Frost hated everything about Nebraska except for the actual football on game day and maybe even only when they were on offense lol. He didn’t want to be here 🤷♂️
Frost has been at two extremes won and loss interested to see what’s next
How long before the Huskers face UCF whoa nellie
Frost is still one of my favorite players to have played for Nebraska, and I was really sad to see him not have the success that we all wanted him to have here as a coach. I really wish him well and think he will do great at UCF.
Jimmy Beal announced as RB coach
IMO one of the reasons Frost was successful before, was his finding diamonds in the rough. Tayvon has potential. One thing I think people have missed that Frost made. A huge deal about in his presser was how he wanted to build a certain culture… Tayvon has a good rep for that. I also think a few of the other Portal pickups do too. I’m hoping Grinch will prove the haters wrong as well We will see…
Not feeling the "oh hell yeah" guys.
Suggestion for replacement?
Tayven def seems like a just-in-case guy in the QB room. Like we needed one more QB in the room in case of injuries and maybe can prove it in practice otherwise we needed one more decent guy for depth.
