You havent heard of him because he originally wrote songs for other singers and his wife used to hear him sing the other songs but she convinced him to sing. And this is kinda new for everyone ! He is a true hidden talent for everyone ! Thats his wife and they are together on stage ! Enjoy ! 😍😍
I just love the way they gaze at each other. It’s wonderful to see two people who obviously adore each other. Those kids are from an amazing gene pool!!🌺✌️
Chris wouldn't even be on stage if it weren't for Morgane. He suffers from stage fright and she keeps him focused and centered. Her vocals are just as mesmerizing! PEACE!!!!!

Great reaction. Chris Stapleton is flat out the best singer on earth. So many incredible songs. I could listen to him all day (and have many times!). The live versions of "Whiskey and You" and "Either Way" are amazing. "Drink a Beer" is my personal favorite. Powerful song, and not at all what the title suggests it will be like. Also the live version of "Amanda" with his wife really shows off how good she is.
She does a beautiful version of You Are My Sunshine.

Chris has been well known in Nashville as a songwriter, and he was also in a bluegrass group called The Steeldrivers. His wife Morgan urged to record his own songs, and here we are…! Also you should check out his collab with Justin Timberlake. A mashup at the Grammys, and then the video for Say Something.
chris stapleton is a singer / song writer who has wrote hit songs for some of the biggest names in country music so he was well known before he decided to start performing as a solo artist
If you're just starting with country, here are a couple to try ... Craig Morgan, "The Father, My Son and The Holy Ghost." He wrote it after his 19 year old son died in a boating accident. Also give "I Believe," by Brooks and Dunn a listen for older country. Or "Concrete Angel," by Martina McBride. Another older song, they're all beautiful, but emotional. EDIT: Videos instead of just lyrics.:)

Brad Paisley/ Allison Krause, Whiskey Lullaby. I Hope You Dance /Lee Ann Womack, God, We Need You Now, Struggle Jennings/ Caitlynne Curtis. This song is a must for any reason, but the lyrics are for today. Every person should listen and watch that video. Its mostly about child smuggling/ Sex Trafficking. The lyrics are a must must read. The women and Caitlynne have strings tied to their hands like they are puppets . I'll give you an example; 'Oh one day, I hope you see the truth, this puppet show stays on because of you fools,/ We've been dancing with the devil way to long, I know its fun, but get ready to pay your dues: "Oh God come back now!/ This crazy world is filled with liars and abusers...... it reminds me of the singer song/ writers of the 70s . The protests songs about the Viet Nam Conflict ( they never called it a war, because they never declared it as a "war", 50,000 men died), and because it wasn't a declared war, the Pentagon never fully gave our troops the support and or the correct weapons to fight it. Never mind ,lol, if you want a history lesson, this isnt the platform. Anyway, this song reminds me of those kind of songs.

Watching ppl discover Chris Stapleton is really amusing lol. You don't have to be a music critic or a professional to know immediately what your hearing. It doesn't take long to figure out your hearing someone who our kids will he listening too.
As you can see, watching him live is a must. Ppl will request all of the correct songs. As someone said, Amanda live, you can see Morgan more. Someone dropped a link for You are my Sunshine where she is the lead. With all do respect to Morgan, whatever it is about Chris's voice, any female voice blends perfectly with his. He has done so many songs or performances with other artist and they all end up sounding amazing. Lots. Of artist are waiting in line to work with Chris because he is so so hot in the business and everything he does is a hit.
The Sometimes bI Cry at the Binge lounge is amazing but I think Barely Alive acoustic may be his best vocal or pushes the limits of his vocals ..it will blow your hair back.

The song is a cover... David Allan coe sang it first and then George Jones sang it. Neither one of them did it justice like Chris Stapleton does. Chris Stapleton makes you feel the song! Absolutely the best version ever. ❤

Originally David Allen Coe sang Tennessee Whiskey! It ranked the Country Billboard at 77 Then George Jones took it to #2 on the Country Billboard where it went 6x's platinum & earned nearly $2 million!! You should check out his version!! It's teally good!!
The man's voice blows me away.. and I truly .. really... got it too late.. When I heard him singing our National Anthem..Super Bowl.. 2022. I lost my mind.. he's incredible.

Chris is originally from Lexington KY. He did a concert in Lexington last weekend and 40,000+ attended. He donated the profits to local charities. He’s a great person as well as a great talent.

Chris is gonna be in the U.K., in several places, this October, 2023. He's gonna be in Manchester, October 16th. Thought you might want to know.
He was also in a bluegrass band called The Steeldrivers and yeeaaars ago they played a FREE concert in my neighborhood (just outside of Nashville). They were amazing and the only concert where I walked up to the front at the end and bought the CDs they were selling. He's a massive talent and has written a ton of hits for other people. You might enjoy seeing him sing Tennessee Whiskey with Justin Timberlake live at the CMA awards in 2015. They actually do two songs back to back the second being Justin's "Drink You Away". Its an amazing live performance. Try "Sometimes I Cry" live @ the Bing lounge too.....

I recommend Garth Brooks "The Dance" which I sang to my wife at her funeral.
I still have my single 45 vinyl RPM from 1981of the original recording of this song by David Allen Coe and the 45 RPM of George Jones's cover in 1983 which was written by dean Dillon who offered it first to George Strait who turned it down. The song just never hit the charts big time until Chris Stapleton's cover in 2015. I think mainly because of the bluesey rendition which reached a more diverse audience other than just Country music. of course thats just my opinion.
Love Chris Stapleton! Another great country artist is Jamey Johnson, his songs In Color, Between Jennings and Jones, That Lonesome Song, High Cost of Living, Stars in Alabama......can't go wrong with this guy either!

I discovered Chris Stapleton twice: first when I heard him in Steeldrivers and then when I heard Tennessee Whiskey. It took me a minute to realize that there was a connection. Both electrified my soul. And if I may say, they both came when I was in need of experiencing his sound/mood. May God keep him and bless him!
