I remember hearing this on The Friday Rock Show all those years ago and being astonished by Midnight's vocal skills. Almost 40 years later and that still stands. Outstanding!
Crimson Glory Live at the Hammersmith Odeon 15 feb 1987 (source: Tommy Vance show on BBC Radio 1 in England) 1. Eternal World 2. Valhalla 3. Queen of the Masquerade 4. Azrael 5. Dragon Lady 6. Dying for your Love (unreleased)
super good recording-would be insanely good for a weekend session let alone a one shot live recording!. They rehearsed for 5 years before even playing live-maybe their downfall: late timing.
I remember listening to this on Tommy Vance's Friday Rock show- I remember ' We are Crimson Glory, we are here from the United States, for one reason and one reason only to kick your ass'. Once Crimson glory had done the other two bands should have packed up and gone home!!
OMG finally!!! been waiting for someone to uploaded forever. i still remember listening to this in bed as a teenager and jumping up to hit record on my hifi. lost the tape so this is amazing to find. still got some picture disc LP's somewhere :)
I took off my comment on that video you commented about earlier because it turns out, the race they were talking about in Touch the Sun was 100% an alien race not the human race, but still Astronomica is the weirdest album I have ever heard in music. When I first heard it , it made no sense, but after studying it for so long, it then all made sense lol xd! I appreciate it Axl! GNR rules!
Sweet Creator haha yeah, the album definitely has weird subject matter like aliens and stuff like that, I think that’s what they were going for. Progressive metal tends to have lyrical topics that are really out of the norm, like dreams, aliens, philosophy, radical politics, etc
They should have been as big as Queensryche.
Mid was unbelievable live singer, the band equally great.
RIP Mid.
Almost 40 years later and still stands.
Outstanding
! WHAT BAND COME EVEN CLOSE ??? Nevermore?........................
INSANE VOCAL ABILITY
yeh and that coupled with Midnight's solos!! just WOW!

Me too, after they played the gig was over!!!
Voice from another dimension of high standards, music from another planet ..... Crimson Glory ONLY METAL!!!!!!
Top Tier Progressive Metal band right here.

One of my all time favorite bands , and singer , midnight !!!!!
Midnight was the mystical singer with a voice of a angel , great they recorded some shows , they should put out something for us fans on DVD !!!!???
Still got this on audio tape from The Friday rock show. Used to love the sessions and live shows aired by Tommy vance. Happy days

God CG is so good

During Eternal World, it seems some of the lyrics were chanced from what they ended up recording. Interesting. Love this stuff
