The Last Dinner Party perform their masterpiece, "Beautiful Boy", from their UK No.1 debut album “Prelude to Ecstasy”, live at the O2 Victoria Warehouse, Trafford Park, Stretford, Manchester on Saturday 21 September 2024, on the third night of their UK Prelude to Ecstasy tour.
The Last Dinner Party were voted BBC Sound of 2024 in an annual BBC poll of music critics and industry figures to find the most promising new music talent, and were the deserved winners of the BRITs Rising Star award at the Brit Awards 2024. "Prelude to Ecstasy" was shortlisted for the 2024 Mercury Music Prize, losing out to "This Could Be Texas" by English Teacher.

Yep. Abigail was definitely on the wine all night! Missed out on Chappell Roan at Manchester Academy last week. Should’ve booked sooner. But check out Annika Bennett (co-writer of Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl and supported Sabrina Carpenter on her last UK tour) who I recorded back in June. Also, The Wild Things who were simply excellent at The Deaf Institute on Friday. I’ll upload Lucia’s set later tonight. And BRILLIANT news for the fabulous Luvcat who have just been booked on TLDPs Euro tour!
