Having the musical score blaring while at the last objective on operations brings its own cinematic narrative that gets the adrenaline pumping. I just love this game!
I’ve had some really good times with fps games dating back to the OG Cod 4. But man… BF1. It cannot be topped with these other fps games coming out. Even with the game being 7 years old, I find myself playing this game way more than any other fps. It’s so raw and exciting and chaotic and satisfying. The only thing I wish they added was gore and nerf the artillery truck from killing us from positions we cannot gain access too. Love this game till the day I die
Bf1 had the best balance out of all the battlefield games. SMG's and shotguns were godly in their respective ranges. Rifles dominated in medium ranges and even out to long range if you knew your weapon. LMG's were pinpoint accurate while prone plus laying down suppressive fire would affect enemies' accuracy. Snipers were and felt powerful to say the least. Each class had a purpose and filled that purpose perfectly. Vehicles felt a bit weak, in my opinion, due to every class having at least one way to deal damage/annoy them but gave a huge focus on infantry to make plays for their teams.
Vehicles are plenty powerful when they have a dedicated repairer or in the case of single person vehicles, stay near the edges of combat and escape easily
I’d say BFV has it beat with the best weapon balance. BF1 still had issues with snipers being way too ridiculously overpowered and there being some guns that are too weaker than others
@Extant Fellow Genuinely don’t see how any of the smgs were overpowered. I do completely fine with LMG’s as well. I’d say there’s maybe 3 guns that were maybe too weak and one of them being the meme pistol which is more of a troll weapon so that doesn’t really count either
@Extant Fellow The type 2A was statistically the worst smg in the game in terms of overall stats except RPM obviously, Tommy gun shoots fast has a good mag but still lacks range and stability, grease gun had good damage but had lots of recoil and low RPM. All the guns are designed very well and have specific roles in the battlefield; there’s not a single gun that outperforms every other gun in the game. Like even the Madsen was still viable because the gun literally had zero recoil compared to other LMGs. Gun balance isn’t based around how much damage a gun does there’s more to it imo

Can some1 help me basically i had 10+ full servers and then i selected 1 filter by accident and then reset it. Now i get like 3 games that keep going and coming. It only showers like ameridan servers. Please help
Throw standard nades then your AT'S into a crowd on maps like Fort De Vaux, breakthrough especially. Dynamite a vehicle to weaken it then throw. Basically, weaken then attack with AT =)
I will agree this game has it’s moments but I don’t know something about it just hasn’t been fly with me what with some maps having blinding weather effects the smokes being even more blinding the impenetrable giant gun fortresses I mean I want to like the game but I really can’t

BF at its peak, one of the best FPS experiences I had in my life. Operations game mode was so addicting.

Last couple of days, I mostly found Hard core servers. That is one whole new experience for me.

It’s ashame how Battlefield 1 went from legendary to nothing with 2042. My personal favorite was the Bad Company 2 multiplayer, but BF1 is second.

Reset the filter, then go through the player counts until servers show up again =) maybe turn off show all. hope it helps !

God it was such a mistake to shut down the public servers for this gem, it could last to at least 2026 before a replacement is needed
