- Hi Train Friends! For Episode #19 of the Train Store walk through Series I revisit my favorite train store, Brady's Train Outlet, located in Greensburg PA. WOW there was allot of of trains to see on this trip. The day I visited was the kickoff event of the Tent Sale which Bradys has in their parking lot the last Saturday of each month. I also went to see out PTF DESIGNS buildings flats which Brady's is now carrying our product line in the store!

I've been there numerous times oh, I remember this amusing there Railroad Museum, close by I forget. Last time I was there was in 1967, or 1968. I remember seeing all the brass locomotives, unpainted. By far the best, model railroad store in the country.
I made a mistake, strain store that I had in mind when I made the comment, is in Lancaster area, close to Miller's Smorgasbord, I believe it was on Route 30? But this store is almost identical. Although you did not photograph any of the brass locomotives. The train store that I used to go to, had many brass locomotives. Today is June 22nd 2022, at 12:57 Eastern Time. Thank you for this post oh, you did a great job.

Awesome!! yeah their website has some items they basically don’t display in the store and vice versa. And I believe they’re doing free shipping over $100 if I’m not mistaken

Thanks so much Jim! I completely agree. Nothing better then being able to see all these trains up close and out of the boxes. I really hate going to stores where all the engines are boxed up and all you see is a price tag….that’s bad marketing. Glad you enjoyed Brady’s, they’re the best display of trains I’ve personally even seen.

I grew up with a Grand Trunk railway that went through the town. Not flashy paint jobs but I have a soft spot for GT.

It is expensive. Prices have gone up since covid too. However there are engines in O gauge that are more affordable from Lionel LionChief

Nick, nice video of a great train store. Maybe next time you could do a slow pan of each section then go back and do your individual item shots. This would give us a better idea of all the items on display. One of the nicest train store displays I have ever seen. Thank you so much.

I live a few miles down the road from it. From the people I know that are into trains in my area they say that they are overpriced and hard to deal with.
I’ve always been treated well at Brady’s over the years no matter who I spoke to that may have been working there at the time. He has allot of new items which are expensive from the manufacturers but the prices are competitive with most major train stores.
Austin, I've been dealing with John since 2003, and he's always been friendly and fair.
Being a HO layout person, looks like that store is more for Lionel-O Gage people. Didn't see much for HO on your tour, so that store would not be for me. You seemed to be more focused on O-Gage stuff. Prices I saw on items were kind of steep - saw one price at $1400 dollars.
