Every time I watch this video and hear Chester's voice it always tears me up knowing the fact that he's not with us anymore his music and his voice helped me through so many difficult times of my life he saved so many lives and nobody couldn't save him may your soul & your voice continue to rest in peace Chester😢🙏
The fact that he looks so happy in the footage makes the line "just cause you can't see it doesn't mean it isn't there" so much more true and heartbreaking. Please people, read and inform yourselves about the little things that may indicate someone might be suffering from depression and don't just go by "doesn't look depressed to me". Someone can be depressed and still be happy whenever they're with you or among friends. Sadness can't hide behind a fake smile, but depression can hide behind a real one. Read. Learn. And if you see any sign, even if the person seems ok, talk to them, ask them how they're doing, make them know you're there, either to talk about things or to talk about nothing and just hang out. Or be you the first one to open up about your feelings and ask them to help you with whatever you're going through. Some people feel like they're burdening others when they talk about their problems, even if they want/need to talk about them. If you open that door yourself and show them this is the room where we talk about that shit, then it's easier for them.
