A tip for Half Life. By default there's no Esc key to go to the main menu to do manual saves, and it can't be configured in the in-game menu. You need to edit the config file in the half life folder. This can be done entirely in dinguxcommander.

To be honest , just running emulators means these devices are rarely fully realised. I read sonewhere rule of thumb a device has to be on average 8 times the speed of device emulated meaning a direct port can be 8 times more demanding.
I don't often comment, but I love your energy. Your energy made me watch the whole video even though I have the normal RG35XX without Wifi and knew I couldn't do much
I played Jedi Outcast, Jedi Academy, and Doom 3 as a kid. My dad had maybe a low-mid tier gaming PC in the early 2000’s and it struggled running Doom 3. It’s insane to me that a $60 pocket sized device can play that now. I also played Tribes 1 and Tribes 2, which apparently not many people know about, It was pretty big back then too. It was the most fun multiplayer FPS game I’ve ever played even to this day. I wish it was popular enough to have enough support to port it. Unreal Tournament 2004 would be fun too.

This is so cool but it makes me angry that the joysticks on the RG35XX H snap to eight cardinal directions instead of detecting their full range of movement. To make things worse, replacing them with better ones or replacing the firmware does not solve this issue so it must be on the kernel level. Why would you do this, Anbernic?
After seeing your videos, i installed MuOS and am happy like a kid. I tried today a couple of port with portmaster, are really killer on RG35XXH. Ciao fratello! 👊🏻

Fallout 2 loads. However, the port decides to load one of two mappings based on whether you have 1 joystick or 2 joysticks, and it ends up loading neither, so altering the gptk files to reassign your buttons won't work. The d-pad to mouse control scheme works fine for Fallout 1 in DOSBox, though.
MuOS seems awesome but the only thing I'd do is avoid connecting it to the internet. Not only would I be worried about security issues, I'd also be concerned about root backdoors. Does it detect the roms properly if you put them on the second SD card?
you can put them on either sd card. :)
So do these only work if you have the pc files, do they work if i somehow obtained Chd files from my “cough, cough” legally obtained ps2 game disc
You might want to get that cough checked, dear nerd. 😄
To answer the question: Each port has its own requirements to get up and running. You'll need to check each individual game for what if needs, provided you legally own it. :)
... cough
Hello my dear friend, I love this guide and I tried a lot of ports, they look beutiful and have an high quality graphic, a lot better than emulated games. The only one that i can't play is Doom 3, that starts loading but stucks on the loading screen. Do you have some advice or the solution for my problem? I have the RG35XX H.
Yeah, just go in the game graphics settings and change the resolution to 640x480 + graphics to low. :)
@@VladNerd Thank You, faster than light!
@@LucasD180 I was around the neighborhood, I just released a new vid. 😄
@@VladNerd do you tried Serious Sam? I hear the sound and it loads, but the screen remains black
@@VladNerd Just what I needed! Thank you!

Anbernic RG35XX PP+
Do my console like that I'll gladly pay yer tomorrow 😅
Just an FYI, downloading a ROM for a game you already legally own is still illegal. I see TH-camrs give these disclaimers all the time but its no different than downloading something you dont own.
He never said that it isn't
@salsaespacial it's implied that if you tell ppl to cough cough download games you own cough, that not doing so is illegal. Read between the lines.
Who cares lol
It's not enforced. These games cannot be bought in their original forms and you should feel no guilt.
does this also apply to the RG353vs?
Unfortunately not, as far as I know. :(
@@VladNerd damn what a shame
Damn, love the vibe of the video!
