Nice video!
Fish on
Good to see a river crappie video. I fish coastal rivers and it’s tough to find crappies sometimes. Thanks for the tips.
You know your in the right spot when you start bringing pieces of timber in the boat. 50 crappie that’s AWSOME gave the ole mustad a work out. 👍🏻
It was a fun day. Thanks for watching!
Looks like I got my request. Man I'm really impressed with the quality of the content you make with just the chesty and talking us through what you're doing. There's other fancy edited videos with tons of camera angles and effects that I don't get near as much out of. Keep up the good work and thank you.
Thanks for watching!
Brandon pal I wish that I could find the Crappie like you do. They have developed lock jaw out here on Norris and a couple other lakes close to me. Glad someone is putting them in the boat.
It’s been a strange fall so far. The cool weather we have coming should help. Don’t give up yet. Thanks for watching!
Thought i was the only one who used gallon ziplock bags for storing soft plastics lol! Great video by the way.
It’s the best way I’ve found and I’ve tried it all!
Good video Brandon thanks what kind of 1/32 jig was you useing for little slab hunter
Great video! Love seeing the view on the livetarget! Good info.
Thanks for watching!
Love your videos Brandon. Very informative
Thanks!
Great video
Thanks!
Great info, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
I'm going to have to try river fishing. The Mobile river always has a lot of current but should be worth a try.
Good luck!
Unless your on Weiss they gotta be 10" there only lake in the state that's 10" ...good show man 😆
Very true. Thanks for clearing that up and thanks for watching!
Love your videos! Keep up the great teaching!!
Does your flouro to braid connection (knot / swivel) get caught in eyelets? Or do you keep that connection beyond the pole tip always? Thank you again.
I run about a 6ft leader tied with a double uni knot. It goes through my guides fine I just don’t like my knot coming up into the reel. That can cause issues with light braid. Thanks for watching!
Great video! What lake are you fishing?
Seeing crappie hit your jig on screen was cool. Would running a second GoPro focused just on your screen be easier than trying to get a shot from your chesty and fishing at same time?
Yes but it would make editing more of a nightmare lol. Thanks for watching!
Brandon what are you using for your FFS transducer ? I’ve been trying to decide on going that route instead of my separate pole mount. 👍👍👍
DD26 Livefoot with Active Target 2. Thanks for watching!
Love watching your videos. I see you have the Live Foot. Can you tell me what you think of it?
It took a little getting used to but I love it for the way I fish. It’s nice to be able to spot lock and still use Active Target. Thanks for watching!
Are you using active target 1 or active target 2??
What knot do you use for that braid to floro leader? I find a uni to uni knot breaks at the knot easy with lite test.
Double uni if I’m on the water and in a hurry. About a 6ft leader. 7 wraps on the braid side, 6 on the fluro side. An FG knot goes through the guides better but takes a little longer to tie.
Good video
Thanks!
That is the way I like to fish for crappie. Instead of the split shot. Have you ever just put a second jig on? I usually put double jig set up on and a lot of times catch 2 at a time.
I have played around with it but usually just prefer one jig. Thanks for watching!
@@BrandonLesterFishing I watched Upshaw doing the same thing your doing with split shot. I am wondering if that helps somehow with FF.
What lake are you fishing
What part of the river u fish Alabama side
I know you've probably told it before, but what is that on your trolling motor? Looks kinda like 360.... Do you sell your boats at end of season?
That is a Livefoot Turret for my Active Target. Yes I do sell my boat every year, in fact I’m going to put this one on the market in the next week or so. Email me if your interested. Brandonlesterfishingx@gmail.com
