From what I’ve heard from a tiktok that whole thing was fake, but what really set me off was in that tiktok he said something along the line of “ThATs sO FUnNy” and I was like how was any of that funny? People were actually concerned for someone’s wellbeing and it being proven to be fake is not something to laugh at. I just can’t with people

Oof I understand how awful the My Hero fandom is in- That’s why it’s kinda best to stay away from like the instagram and tumblr side of the fandom! However, when I went to my local conventions, all the other My Hero fans I met were pretty cool! I cosplayed Hawks my last day, and it was so cool how many people recognized me and wanted to take pictures with me. The only things that was somewhat upsetting is that someone told me I was “better than another Hawks cosplayer” (which isn’t something to say to a cosplayer, I’d rather not be told I’m better than someone as that’s rude to them) and the fact that my friend was jealous because more people wanted pictures with me. But otherwise it was a great day! I never really was a “cringy” anime fan, but I w a s a cringy Undertale fan, shipping the characters like crazy. It was a good learning experience, however!

I used to be part of the BNHA fandom. I’m a cosplayer so I immediately cosplayed my favourite character, Tsuyu.
THEN I got into the fandom, and OH BOY it’s toxic af! I currently cosplay from Dangronpa the most since I’m obsessed with the games and despite this fandom being kinda toxic, it’s a MILLION times better than the BNHA fandom 😅

I haven't been in the Danganronpa fandom since like V3 came out so not sure how accurate this is but the fandom isn't that bad, mainly just memes until ya bring up waifus and husbandos-
INDUSTRY PLANT Every fandom has its toxic side but I find that the Dangnaronpa fandom’s toxic side goes a little bit too far sometimes. There’s irl killing games, people cutting off their fingers to be like Nagito, people harassing Kodaka for a new game, ect. But I love the side of the fandom that’s 90% memes lol

@@sussbob i understand that, and i accept people changing, but it’s not the fact that they’ve changed and matured. it’s the fact that i used to love all of the things they do now, and they’re acting like they’re the ones who found it and try to tell me about it like i don’t know what it is, when they literally made fun of me for years about the same things. (one of these was that i used to listen to k-pop a long time ago before it was popular and people thought it was weird of me to listen to music that i couldn’t understand, so i stopped listening to it because it reminded me of the bullying every time i heard it. but now those exact people are listening to the same bands i used to, same songs, and they try to tell me what k-pop is and anything about it, as if they didn’t already know what it was from years prior when they found out i listened to it.) it just agitates me sometimes.

I know the MHA fandom can be toxic, but there’s also a lot of good parts to it too. People highlight the bad stuff because it’s quite dominant, such as the death threats, underage shipping, etc, but I love watching draw art and make funny scenarios. It’s understandable that people don’t want to be part of the fandom, but the show is overall really awesome! You don’t have to ship people to enjoy a show.
I have been reading K-zone issues since I was a child and was pretty bummed out when I stopped seeing new issues in the bookstore I always go to, the ones there were ones I already read
I didn't know there were also issues from other countries :0 (I was REALLY inexperienced with technology growing up, I learned how to google search when I was 9-)

there's this one girl at my school that comes to school in some kind of cosplays. I thought it was pretty cool, but never said anything. One time when it was that kind of day when you could go to school wearing costumes (it is a tradition in my country that is kind of like Halloween but a little different. instead of saying 'trick or treat' you go to stores and houses and sing for them and then you'll get candy.) and i saw that same girl in a very cool Toga costume. I honestly admire those types of people since I'm a little insecure to cosplay as an anime character or as a video game character.
(I once cosplayed as Sal Fisher from Sally face but no one knew who i was cosplaying as lol)

They were both REALLY uncomfortable

Ahh I lovee sprited away!! I was my first anime movie. I loved it. For a little bit, I wanted to be an animator but eventually realized I'm not super talented in drawing and won't make a living out of it haha.

I just want to burn the memories of my cringey anime phase, it was my peak and now I'm mellowed out but in the past, big old cringe.
We had an anime club in my high school. The way you described it was accurate literally all we did was sit in a class and watch a couple episodes of some anime. But I wish, I WISH, that we did it in silence. I went once on my own free will and two other times against my will (my friend didn't't want to go to the club alone so she dragged me along). They were the perfect stereotypical weebs, Naruto headbands, saying things like "kawaii" and "sugoi" UNIRONICALLY. To make things better I was the only girl, which meant every guy tried to hit on me at least once (obviously nothing wrong with shooting your shot but like I DONT KNOW THESE PEOPLE). One guy in particular would not leave me alone, calling me cute nonstop and following me to class everyday. If I wanted him to pass me something he'd say "I will for a kiss." EWWW (btw he wasn't joking he'd literally lean in and try every single time). It got to the point where I straight up just told him bro IM GAY and he'd say stuff like "You're too cute to be gay.". Idk what it is with some guys seeing another female like what they like and be really creepy towards them. Luckily years latter it hasn't changed my love for anime and manga though once I adopt kids I'll teach them to never join an anime club.

Ever since a 4-H field and stream club that I think I quit before high school, I've never really had a group of people that I did events with or shared one common interest that took up a lot of time. I prefer to be an anime fan from the shadows; and there are probably people who would call me a fake fan or have problems with the way I watch some shows. I'm just chilling watching the entertainment I enjoy.

My friend mom,who was a teacher at our school ran the anime club and it was pretty cool for the first few months.we pretty much just sat at a table and drew and ate candy and talked abt anime. Sometimes we'd watch naruto or some studio Ghibli movie. There was this one girl thought. Who just showed up to school in a captain levi cosplay and kept making cat noises n stuff. Kinda scary

Ah yes, I believe they were called blockbuster. we use to have a store that was similar how a library works. ^^ and anything by Studio Ghibli is usually beautiful! I love their movies! The mha fandom ships everyone with everything like people shipping bakugo and deku when bakugo litrally told deku to commit game over in the first episode and imo it would be a very toxic relationship but then we have the 9 yr olds that are obbsesed with yaoi going "OMG THEY WOULD MAKE SUCH A GREAT COUPLE UWU" then use something like gacha club and make deku an uwu femboy and make bakugo a player boy
