@Reporter Online That's a hilarious thing to say. Oculus is selling you the headset. They're not required to give you free games. You should be grateful if you get any free games.
@Reporter Online Gamesharing always goes badly. I've had a scamming experience. Luckily for me, I only had COD on the account, but it was still a bad experience. I regret it, and will never gameshare again unless it's someone I can confidently trust.
@Reporter Online The company didn't develop the games. The respective other companies did. Beat Saber wasn't developed by Oculus, so they're not going to give it to you for free. VRChat is free, but that wasn't up to Oculus. Why would they give others' intellectual property for free?
Now we need widely manufactured VR treadmills, then the OASIS.
I always though having something like a stationary baby walker would be safer and cheaper, being a harness over a low friction surface, and all you need is foot and pressure tracking
But what if no WiFi?

for some reason, this is the only thing i actually play on my quest 2, better than all the other apps i have since theyre all free and most of them dont really let you play and its also very limited without internet
What I love compared to the rift is easy access, just put HMD and just push the button and your in game!
The robot dancing was so fun i even got to twirl and pose with it

It is on the Rift S I believe. Just that the shooting & dancing minigames are only on the Quest
The quest is so good! I'm loving it!
It hurts my face. Like, a lot. So much that i haven't picked it back up. Must get 3rd party accessories. And make Oculus pay for it :P

Is this only available on the Quest or is it playable on the Oculus Rift S as well?

No, it’s only for the quest
You can try it out on the Rift, the executable for it is located within the files for the Oculus app. I don't think the dancing game is included though 😭
Yeah that’s what I meant sorry. You are put into the beginning part where you learn the controllers then you are thrown into first contact. The robot dancing game and the shooter game are exclusive for the quest.
Oculus Touch controllers are included with Rift S and Quest, Laudi. They've been redesigned with the ring on top to accommodate tracking for Oculus Insight, so they're not compatible with the original Rift.

How do you push the button?
One of the first tasks in first steps requires pushing a vr button with a vr forefinger but nothing I do pushes the button. Finger extended but none of the buttons or moving the finger helps at all.
Did you ever get it to work?
Any list of the main coding and interaction design and design team members on that app?

I keep drudging through the rest of this tutorial "experience" over and over just so I can dance with the goddamn robot. It's that good, and I freakin' hate to dance. Plus, sometimes it's fun to fly the blimp...

I just got oculus quest and I have trouble logging in with my email
Just got a quest today. First thing i got was Vader Immortal. First steps looks much better than Vader Immortal... Why the hype over basically a tech demo? Anyway, I will try First Steps next.
How do you push a holo button with the forefinger? Tried over a hundred possible permutations and nothing works. Placing the tip of the finger and physically moving tip of the finger as if pushing don't, and doing same with the buttons on the controller fails too.
I want one.

Tbh I’m not interested, I want the oculus rift cv1 because it’s a cheap option
The quest is way better and its standalone and it gets more updates like hand tracking plus the rift cv1 is outdated and u can use oculus link for the quest to link it to a pc if you want
@@j63636 I feel like they focus too much on Quest as a whole which is why headsets such as the Rift S which i'm using right now has some errors
